igor levit (Russian: Игорь Левит; born 10 March 1987) is a German-Russian pianist, who focuses on the works of Bach, Beethoven and Liszt. He is also a professor at the Musikhochschule Hannover.
== Biography ==
Born in Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod), Levit began playing piano at age three, and as a child he had his first successes on the concert stage in his hometown.
