✨ Fame fades. Connection doesn’t.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
Podcasting was a natural next step for me. After creating Meredyth with a Why and growing a following of over 600,000 on TikTok (and more than 1.2 million across platforms), I wanted to deepen the kind of connection that social media alone can’t fully hold. I’ve built incredible relationships with creators and influencers through the platform, and TikTok FAMOUS™ became the perfect space to take those conversations further—to explore the why behind their success, creativity, and influence. I love podcasts that mix inspiration and strategy, like Gary Vee’s, as well as long-form storytelling shows that pull back the curtain on human behavior. That blend of real talk and real life is exactly what I wanted to bring to this show.
My motivation for TikTok FAMOUS™ came from wanting to bridge the gap between viral content and real human connection. We scroll past these creators every day, laugh with them, learn from them, and feel like we know them—but we rarely get to hear their stories in full. My goal was to create a long-format space where listeners could connect with their favorite TikTokers on a deeper level. I wanted to give creators the opportunity to share the truth behind the fame—the highs, lows, and lessons that come with building something online. Many of these guests trust me because I come from their world. They know I understand what it means to grow on social, to be vulnerable publicly, and to lead with authenticity.
I launched TikTok FAMOUS™ in 2024 as a passion project, and within just 20 episodes, it ranked in the top 10% of podcasts globally. From concept to launch, it took a few months of careful planning—developing the format, choosing guests, and setting the tone for meaningful, emotionally resonant interviews. Every episode is a reflection of my belief that fame fades, but human connection doesn’t.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
TikTok FAMOUS™ releases new episodes once a week, giving listeners a consistent rhythm of inspiration, laughter, and real connection with their favorite creators. Each episode takes time to produce because I’m intentional about the guests I bring on and the stories we tell. I carefully research each creator’s background, content style, and personal journey to craft conversations that go deeper than “how did you go viral?” It’s about revealing the person behind the platform—the creative process, the vulnerability, and the truth about what it takes to build a life online. From start to finish, an episode can take anywhere from several days to a week to fully prepare, record, and finalize.
I’m able to fit podcasting into my schedule because it’s a natural extension of what I already do as a life coach and content creator. Both roles are rooted in connection, curiosity, and storytelling. Recording interviews doesn’t feel like a side project—it feels like another way of doing what I love most: helping people feel seen, heard, and inspired. I typically record in blocks, planning sessions around my coaching work and social content schedule so everything flows together.
Right now, I self-fund the podcast, investing in production, editing tools, hosting, and guest management. My primary ongoing expense is $125 per month for show notes, which helps ensure that each episode is captured with professionalism and clarity. Everything else—from preparation to promotion—is done by me, with intention and care.
While TikTok FAMOUS™ is independently produced, I’m open to aligned sponsorships or partnerships that would help expand marketing, improve audio quality, and amplify the reach of the show. Every episode is made with heart and purpose, and that personal investment is exactly what makes it special.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
I’m actively seeking sponsors and brand partners for TikTok FAMOUS™! The show is fully self-funded right now, with no outside revenue yet, but I’m ready to collaborate with companies and brands that align with our mission of storytelling, authenticity, and connection.
I haven’t had a first sponsorship yet, but the podcast is already in the top 10% globally after just 20 episodes, which makes it a powerful platform for creators and brands to reach a deeply engaged audience.
Podcasting has opened incredible doors—it’s helped me build meaningful relationships with creators, expand my reach across social media, and grow genuine trust with my 1.2 million followers. I’m excited to bring sponsors into that ecosystem—to create mutually beneficial partnerships that amplify both the show and the brands that support it.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
I record TikTok FAMOUS™ using a Blue Yeti microphone, earpiece, and my MacBook, recording virtually through StreamYard for clean, high-quality sound and video. All of my guests come directly through my personal connections on social media—people I’ve met, collaborated with, or been inspired by through TikTok and other platforms. These relationships make every conversation feel authentic and grounded in real connection.
To prepare, I spend time researching each guest’s content and story to understand their creative journey. I write guiding questions but allow the conversation to unfold naturally so it feels personal and organic. Every episode is recorded virtually via StreamYard, creating a comfortable, conversational environment where guests can share their truth, creativity, and the human story behind their TikTok fame.
► How do you market your show?
TikTok FAMOUS™ is available on all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Amazon Music. The majority of listeners find the show through Apple Podcasts and Spotify, driven by the strong, organic reach of my social media community and the incredible creators who appear on the show. With over 1.2 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, my audience is already deeply connected to the world of digital storytelling—and they follow their favorite creators straight into the podcast space.
Each episode naturally attracts new listeners because my guests actively promote their interviews to their own audiences. This collaboration allows fans to experience a different, more personal side of the creators they love. These cross-promotions have become one of the most powerful growth engines for the show, fueling a steady stream of new listeners through trust and authenticity.
My most effective marketing channels are TikTok and Instagram, where I share clips, sound bites, and behind-the-scenes moments that capture the heart of each interview. The show is also featured on YouTube Shorts and Instagram Stories, often reshared by guests themselves.
In short, TikTok FAMOUS™ grows through community, connection, and collaboration—just like the platform that inspired it.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
Podcasting has taught me that curiosity is everything. Being genuinely curious about people—their stories, their struggles, and their breakthroughs—is what gives each conversation life. The most powerful moments don’t come from perfectly crafted questions, but from being fully present. I’ve learned that no matter how well-prepared I am, the real magic happens when I listen deeply and follow where the conversation naturally wants to go.
You have to be passionate about your topics, because listeners can feel authenticity. If you’re not truly engaged, the interview will fall flat. When I’m excited, inspired, or emotionally moved by a guest’s work, that energy translates directly to the audience. I’ve also learned to release control—to allow space for silence, emotion, and real human connection rather than rushing to the next question. Some of my most memorable episodes have come from moments I didn’t plan, but simply allowed.
Another key lesson has been the importance of asking the hard questions—the ones the audience is thinking but might not voice. It’s not about being provocative; it’s about being honest. People come to TikTok FAMOUS™ because they want truth, not polish. When you hold that level of integrity and openness, the audience trusts you to take them deeper.
🎧 Helpful Podcasting Resources
When I first started, I worked with a podcast production company that guided me through the early stages—everything from finding the right intro music to clarifying the show’s direction and message. That initial support was invaluable, helping me establish a strong foundation and professional sound. Beyond that, most of my growth has come from experience—learning what feels authentic, experimenting with flow, and staying curious.
Ultimately, podcasting is like life: it works best when you’re curious, grounded, and willing to listen.
