► Tell us about you and your podcast
My name is LIN, YU-HSUAN, you can call me Alex.
My podcast is '房藝厝詩', which is meaning 'Poetry in the house'. It's about literature and also the first podcast sponsored by government in Taiwan.
► Why & how did you start this podcast?
Lots of people think about 'literature' as demonstration of vision, but I want to try different war to make poetry interesting and various.
► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
I release my podcast once a week. As a collage student, it's really hard to squeeze time to do podcast to be honest, but I'll do my best and keep trying. Fortunately, I have the sponsor by 'National Culture and Arts Foundation' and 'Department of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City Government' of Taiwan, which makes me don't need to worry about the spending of the podcast.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
It's really hard to earn money by doing podcast. All I want to do is promote the reading and writing of poetry.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
I do it all by myself, so it's a big project and I feel stressed when I doing these. Usually I Talk to my guest face to face, but if the guest is abroad then I use Zoom or Google meet to interview.
► How do you market your show?
Apple podcast, Spotiy, iTunes, KKbox, Soundon.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
I'm the newcomer of podcast, so if you want to learn the skills of doing podcast, I think listen other channel would be the better choice.
