ABOUT THIS EPISODE
On this episode of the Andrew Yang Podcast, Andrew is joined by Brian Bengs, Air Force veteran and Independent candidate for U.S. Senate in South Dakota. After running as a Democrat in 2022 and learning firsthand that the party label was a dealbreaker in a deep-red state, Brian is back as an Independent, polling within 4 points of incumbent Mike Rounds and outraising every Democratic candidate in the state combined. He and Andrew talk small-town decline, why the parties have abandoned red states, and how to give voters a real third choice.
