This past January, I visited Medcan for my annual Comprehensive Health Assessment. This is usually where I lie back and soak in all the compliments about my excellent health.

Not this time. My usually pristine bloodwork showed a few "out of range" cholesterol markers. I immediately said to the doctor, "This is a mistake. Test my blood again right away." He laughed.

It turns out that's not how it works.
