00:02:06.429 --> 00:02:14.430
So this is the first time I've been able to beat my sugar addiction and I feel like I'm winning and I have control.
00:02:16.109 --> 00:02:17.069
So powerful.
00:02:17.310 --> 00:02:18.030
Oh my gosh.
00:02:18.189 --> 00:02:20.590
It makes me feel like God is healing me.
00:02:20.829 --> 00:02:24.990
It makes me feel like this program is gonna be my lifetime focus now.
00:02:25.150 --> 00:02:29.150
You know, this is a program I can live with the rest of my life.
00:02:29.310 --> 00:02:31.789
Well, welcome back to the Fast of Faith podcast.
00:02:32.109 --> 00:02:40.909
I am really just my heart is swelling for this conversation because this coach is near and dear to my heart.
00:02:41.069 --> 00:02:46.990
She came to us um at a time where she really needed us.
00:02:47.550 --> 00:02:57.229
And I just love to see how her life and her perspective has shifted and how she really has blossomed in this season of her life.
00:02:57.389 --> 00:02:59.229
So welcome, Beverly.
00:02:59.469 --> 00:03:00.509
How are you?
00:03:00.750 --> 00:03:01.469
I'm fine.
00:03:01.709 --> 00:03:02.669
How are you?
00:03:03.069 --> 00:03:08.269
I am just thrilled to have you here and thank you for taking the time out.
00:03:08.430 --> 00:03:11.310
You're living in a camper right now.
00:03:11.629 --> 00:03:15.069
So like I just love that attitude.
00:03:15.149 --> 00:03:16.509
Like, I'm gonna figure it out.
00:03:16.589 --> 00:03:18.829
I'm gonna do it however I can.
00:03:18.990 --> 00:03:21.870
So thank you for showing up and being you.
00:03:22.110 --> 00:03:23.149
Let's dive in.
00:03:23.310 --> 00:03:27.389
Let's talk about how did you even find me?
00:03:27.949 --> 00:03:38.189
You were part of the Kick Sugar Summit, and I listened to that every year because I was the closet sugar addict and I really wanted to beat it.
00:03:38.430 --> 00:03:44.110
And you spoke, and something inside me just clicked, and I'm like, this is the person I need to follow.
00:03:44.269 --> 00:03:45.870
This is the program I need to do.
00:03:46.030 --> 00:03:47.789
She is going to heal me.
00:03:48.110 --> 00:03:49.870
And so I was so excited.
00:03:50.030 --> 00:03:52.829
As soon as you finished speaking, I ordered your book.
00:03:53.149 --> 00:03:54.829
Two-day Amazon shipping.
00:03:54.909 --> 00:03:58.509
I was getting ready to leave on a trip and I was afraid the book wouldn't make it.
00:03:58.750 --> 00:04:03.069
So I downloaded it from Audible immediately and started listening to you.
00:04:03.709 --> 00:04:08.750
So when as I listened to the book, something just clicked.
00:04:09.310 --> 00:04:15.709
You were bringing God, my faith, and my food all together as one.
00:04:15.870 --> 00:04:18.509
And that's exactly what I needed.
00:04:18.909 --> 00:04:20.189
Oh my goodness.
00:04:20.430 --> 00:04:24.189
What had you done in the past that didn't work?
00:04:24.829 --> 00:04:25.709
Oh, Dr.
00:04:25.870 --> 00:04:28.750
Tabitha, I have read every nutritional book.
00:04:28.909 --> 00:04:32.029
I have tried every diet, and they would all work.
00:04:32.350 --> 00:04:36.990
Um, when I was 20 years old, we moved to Virginia from West Virginia.
00:04:37.149 --> 00:04:40.750
Um, and I gained 65 pounds over two years.
00:04:40.990 --> 00:04:43.870
And it took me a long time to lose it.
00:04:43.949 --> 00:04:45.389
And I would do programs for a while.
00:04:45.469 --> 00:04:49.949
I did Suzanne Summers and I had, you know, success with that.
00:04:50.029 --> 00:04:56.350
But then after a while, my sugar addiction would take over, and I didn't gain all the weight back, but I gained a little.
00:04:56.589 --> 00:05:00.670
I did Weight Watchers, I failed miserably at Weight Watchers.
00:05:00.829 --> 00:05:09.069
I've done whole 30 and I was able to do that for a while and lost some weight, but my sugar addiction would kick back in again.
00:05:09.389 --> 00:05:17.469
So this is the first time I've been able to beat my sugar addiction, and I feel like I'm winning and I have control.
00:05:18.589 --> 00:05:20.189
That is so powerful.
00:05:20.430 --> 00:05:21.310
Oh my gosh.
00:05:21.469 --> 00:05:29.870
And I know how that feels because I too was a sugar addict and a gluten addict, and it just kind of runs your life.
00:05:30.029 --> 00:05:33.310
It's like in the background of your brain all the time.
00:05:33.389 --> 00:05:34.909
You're just thinking about it.
00:05:35.069 --> 00:05:38.909
And for me, like the donuts would talk to me from the break room.
00:05:39.069 --> 00:05:41.949
Tell me what your struggle felt like.
00:05:42.189 --> 00:05:44.990
What how did you know you had a sugar addiction?
00:05:45.310 --> 00:05:47.790
Because I couldn't go a day without something sweet.
00:05:47.949 --> 00:05:52.269
Like I would say, I'm gonna wake up the next morning and I'm as well start whole 30 again.
00:05:52.430 --> 00:06:03.870
And I wouldn't make it till lunchtime, and I'd have and I wouldn't eat a lot of sugar at one time, but I would have to have little tiny hits of sugar throughout the day to make it through the day.
00:06:03.949 --> 00:06:05.709
And I thought this is a problem.
00:06:05.870 --> 00:06:16.829
You know, I'm 62 years old, I should be able to handle this problem, but you know, and every time I would drive into town, I'd be like, well, I'm gonna go through the Chick-fil-A drive-through and get a Dr.
00:06:16.909 --> 00:06:17.389
Pepper.
00:06:17.550 --> 00:06:20.269
You know, that was my that was my addiction of choice.
00:06:20.430 --> 00:06:35.229
And I didn't gain a lot of weight, but I didn't feel good, and I just felt like I I was failing, you know, and I couldn't get the scale to go one way or the other, and so it was just it was just getting to be too much.
00:06:36.109 --> 00:06:36.909
My goodness.
00:06:37.069 --> 00:06:41.229
Okay, so you start listening to the book and you start reading the book.
00:06:41.549 --> 00:06:42.589
What was different?
00:06:42.750 --> 00:06:44.349
What was clicking for you?
00:06:44.509 --> 00:06:48.189
You you mentioned like bringing God into the conversation.
00:06:48.669 --> 00:07:12.269
Well, one thing that really clicked for me was um in 2023, I had a root canal that had got infected, and I had taken six rounds of antibiotics between the dentist trying to figure out what was wrong, and uh the biological dentist finally pulling the tooth and putting an implant in and having to eat soft foods for nine months, my gut never recovered.
00:07:12.430 --> 00:07:18.750
So when you started talking about, you know, leaky gut and your biome, I thought that that clicked.
00:07:18.829 --> 00:07:21.870
I'm like, okay, God, this is what you want me to do.
00:07:22.109 --> 00:07:24.909
This is going to heal me, and it is.
00:07:25.389 --> 00:07:28.509
Oh my gosh, that's so awesome.
00:07:28.829 --> 00:07:36.909
And you have mentioned, like, you read the book how many times, and you kept skipping the supplements section talking about that.
00:07:37.549 --> 00:07:39.709
I I just it cracks me up.
00:07:39.949 --> 00:07:46.349
Well, the first, yeah, the first two times I read the book, when it would get to supplements, I'm like, I take vitamins, I don't need that.
00:07:46.509 --> 00:07:48.909
And I would kind of flip through it.
00:07:49.149 --> 00:07:55.469
And I would take, I was taking DHEA, I was taking magnesium, I was taking vitamin D.
00:07:55.789 --> 00:07:59.310
I mean, that's all I was taking, but I thought, I just, I just don't need that.
00:07:59.549 --> 00:08:13.870
But then when I joined the coaching academy and the Healthier Her program and started actually doing the program, I saw the power of the supplements, how that started healing me, how my sugar addictions became in check.
00:08:14.029 --> 00:08:18.909
You know, that I just learned that the supplements were the key to my healing.
00:08:20.189 --> 00:08:22.509
So I'm sorry I skipped that the first tea time.
00:08:24.109 --> 00:08:28.349
Well, I love that God put it on your heart to keep reading again.
00:08:28.430 --> 00:08:34.750
And like, I think we just keep getting those little nudges until we do what we're supposed to do, right?
00:08:34.990 --> 00:08:35.629
Yeah.
00:08:35.950 --> 00:08:38.190
Oh my gosh, I love that so much.
00:08:38.430 --> 00:08:41.149
So we we healed your gut.
00:08:41.230 --> 00:08:46.190
You finally started feeling like you were breaking up with sugar.
00:08:46.509 --> 00:08:49.789
Tell me about the during the summer.
00:08:49.870 --> 00:08:55.310
You had a party, and I think you had a good realization of your shift, didn't you?
00:08:55.629 --> 00:08:56.269
I did.
00:08:56.509 --> 00:09:05.710
This summer I I host my brother and his entire family, they have a big family, uh, for a week every summer, and I had 18 house guests.
00:09:05.950 --> 00:09:12.110
And they're they're most of them are like in their 30s, having babies, and so they still eat junk food.
00:09:12.190 --> 00:09:23.629
And so they brought in the Doritos and the Soda Pop and the cupcakes and the candies, and we had this big table set up in my dining room, and it was just full of all these snacks.
00:09:23.870 --> 00:09:29.070
And after they left, I realized I had not drank any soda pop.
00:09:29.310 --> 00:09:39.950
And you know, one night I did put a cupcake on my plate, and I was gonna eat it because it was homemade, someone had brought it in, and I started to eat it, and my husband had to finish it.
00:09:40.029 --> 00:09:41.549
I could not even finish it.
00:09:41.870 --> 00:09:42.669
How come?
00:09:43.230 --> 00:09:46.909
Because I just couldn't handle the sugar, it was just too sweet.
00:09:46.990 --> 00:09:55.310
It was actually kind of making me sick, and then and then later on in the summer, I um had an ice cream can like I'm just gonna have some ice cream.
00:09:55.389 --> 00:10:02.350
I haven't had any all summer, and I started to eat it, and I didn't even get a third of the way through it, and I threw it in the trash can.
00:10:02.669 --> 00:10:06.430
So that was to me, that was victory.
00:10:06.830 --> 00:10:12.190
That is incredible, and uh it's so mind-blowing.
00:10:12.350 --> 00:10:21.470
So, I mean, I've lived through it, I've watched countless women experience it, but it's like when you are addicted to sugar, stuff doesn't even taste that sweet.
00:10:21.629 --> 00:10:32.269
It's like I just I need that, I gotta have it, and then when you really aren't eating it on a regular basis and you try and bring it in, you're like, that is so sweet.
00:10:32.430 --> 00:10:34.350
I only need a couple bites.
00:10:34.509 --> 00:10:36.830
Isn't that crazy how different it is?
00:10:37.070 --> 00:10:38.269
Yes, but I love it.
00:10:38.429 --> 00:10:47.549
It just makes me feel powerful, it makes me feel like God is healing me, it makes me feel like this program is gonna be my lifetime focus now.
00:10:47.629 --> 00:10:54.350
You know, this is a program I can live with the rest of my life, and that is such a wonderful feeling.
00:10:54.669 --> 00:10:55.629
I love that.
00:10:55.949 --> 00:10:59.549
Yeah, tell me more about physically how you're feeling.
00:10:59.789 --> 00:11:02.829
So all of a sudden, sugar's a little sweeter.
00:11:03.149 --> 00:11:10.669
How are you feeling and functioning in your body overall with you know less inflammation and all that gut stuff gone?
00:11:10.990 --> 00:11:13.789
Well, I feel like I have a second gear in the afternoon.
00:11:14.029 --> 00:11:18.429
In the afternoon, usually I would start to get tired, and by evening I would be shot.
00:11:18.669 --> 00:11:24.029
And now I just have a whole new gear in the afternoon, and in the evenings I can get out and walk.
00:11:24.189 --> 00:11:29.069
I'm sleeping well, you know, food is not upsetting my gut.
00:11:29.470 --> 00:11:32.429
So, yes, I am on the road to healing.
00:11:32.750 --> 00:11:34.029
Oh, I love how you said that.
00:11:34.110 --> 00:11:38.269
I have a new gear, like shifted into another gear for the afternoon.
00:11:38.509 --> 00:11:39.789
Oh, I love that.
00:11:40.110 --> 00:11:47.789
Okay, so it really sounds like it has made just such an impact on your health and overall.
00:11:47.949 --> 00:11:50.590
How has it impacted your life?
00:11:51.870 --> 00:11:53.389
I'm more confident.
00:11:53.949 --> 00:12:01.949
Um, the biggest thing is, you know, I've been in church all my life, and I have never meditated on the word before.
00:12:02.110 --> 00:12:03.710
That's something new you brought to me.
00:12:03.789 --> 00:12:07.549
I would read, but I would never just meditate and journal.
00:12:07.710 --> 00:12:09.470
And that has been life-changing.
00:12:09.549 --> 00:12:17.389
And now I really look forward to those times where you just sit and read and journal, and that has made a big impact.
00:12:17.549 --> 00:12:31.549
I think I make better decisions, I think it's easier to stay on the program, and I think it's easier to share your faith in what you're doing because you see how it's making a difference.
00:12:31.870 --> 00:12:33.230
Yeah, absolutely.
00:12:33.389 --> 00:12:45.230
I I mean, I was raised in the church as well, and to me, the Bible was just something that got read to me at church, you know, or you would follow along in church.
00:12:45.470 --> 00:12:59.549
Um, but outside in daily life, like I didn't open my Bible, it wasn't a part of my everyday life, and I really think that it is so magical.
00:12:59.710 --> 00:13:09.470
It is the living, nourishing, active word of God, and it helps us talk to him and have a relationship with him and to hear from him.
00:13:09.710 --> 00:13:15.309
I hear so many women say, I don't hear from God, you know, so he must not want to talk to me.
00:13:15.389 --> 00:13:22.909
And I think we just need to learn how to actually meditate on his word and get still.
00:13:23.149 --> 00:13:30.829
And I love that you are doing that in the mornings now with Lectio Divina, this meditating on scripture.
00:13:31.069 --> 00:13:37.470
And once you get into it, how long did it take for you to feel like I need that in the mornings?
00:13:37.549 --> 00:13:42.990
I want that in the mornings because I know at first it's kind of challenging to sit down, isn't it?
00:13:43.309 --> 00:13:49.710
It was it did at first, and sometimes if I do miss it in the morning, I do it at night, but I get it in.
00:13:49.870 --> 00:13:52.269
Um, but yeah, the mornings I look forward to that.
00:13:52.350 --> 00:13:54.750
It it didn't take very long, it really didn't.
00:13:54.909 --> 00:14:07.789
At first, I went through the 40 days with you reading it to us, but then one day in the coaching academy class, you said to us um that God had told you you read it.
00:14:07.949 --> 00:14:17.389
You know, I've done a million Bible studies, and I just something clicked, and he he's literally taking me through the Bible reading.
00:14:17.470 --> 00:14:21.069
And I read a chapter and I pick verses and I write.
00:14:21.230 --> 00:14:30.669
I have a journaling Bible, so I can write right in my Bible, and that has been really good because now I'm going back and looking and I can see patterns, you know.
00:14:32.189 --> 00:14:35.470
So, yeah, I've really enjoyed it, it's been life-changing.
00:14:35.870 --> 00:14:41.149
Absolutely, and there really is no right way to read the Bible, you know.
00:14:41.309 --> 00:14:44.110
I think it can be really intimidating.
00:14:44.269 --> 00:14:59.949
I was intimidated because I was always told, like, you're supposed to read it in one year from cover to cover, and you know, the Bible isn't written in a straightforward timeline either, so it it's all over the place.
00:15:00.110 --> 00:15:09.389
But I've really gotten into a pattern of like when I hear something in my daily life, someone quotes a scripture or a sermon talks about it.
00:15:09.549 --> 00:15:17.230
Like, I go and I read about that and I dive into that, and then it references something else, and then I go and I study and read that.
00:15:17.470 --> 00:15:28.909
And to me, that has made it really enjoyable because it's kind of like I'm just um I'm curious, I'm like inquisitive and I'm checking it out.
00:15:29.069 --> 00:15:31.710
So I love that you're kind of doing the same thing.
00:15:31.789 --> 00:15:37.309
There's no rhyme or reason, it's like wherever God's taking you, and and that's okay.
00:15:37.549 --> 00:15:46.909
And sometimes I'll underline things and I realize, oh my gosh, I've read that, but for some reason I'm reading it for like the first time.
00:15:46.990 --> 00:15:50.590
I I don't recognize it or I hear it in a whole new way.
00:15:50.750 --> 00:15:51.949
Does that happen to you?
00:15:52.269 --> 00:16:05.710
Yes, yeah, so I've that's why it's just so alive, and you know, they say that in the Bible that it is an alive word, so that can be super powerful.
00:16:06.029 --> 00:16:08.110
Okay, I love that.
00:16:08.669 --> 00:16:13.629
How has God shown up for you in your life in a different way?
00:16:13.870 --> 00:16:17.470
Or are you just are you noticing God more?
00:16:17.710 --> 00:16:20.110
Tell me about your relationship with him.
00:16:20.909 --> 00:16:27.230
Well, I feel like he brought me to this program because I he's probably tired of listening to me.
00:16:27.389 --> 00:16:28.509
Can you please help me?
00:16:28.669 --> 00:16:29.789
Can you please heal me?
00:16:29.949 --> 00:16:32.189
Can you and then all of a sudden here you are?
00:16:32.350 --> 00:16:45.949
And I'm in the coaching academy, and I went through that academy, but I just feel like he it's almost like he pointed me to this program, he's healing me, he has me back in the word, and yes, I am noticing him more.
00:16:46.750 --> 00:16:48.110
That's so good.
00:16:48.509 --> 00:16:53.789
Um, and are you comfortable sharing with what you're dealing right now with your parents?
00:16:54.509 --> 00:16:54.829
Sure.
00:16:55.069 --> 00:17:07.470
My dad is in um the final stages of dementia Alzheimer's, and um we live about three weeks out of the month here in our camper in West Virginia and helping care for him.
00:17:07.789 --> 00:17:09.470
And he still knows me.
00:17:09.870 --> 00:17:13.069
You know, he can't stand or walk without assistance.
00:17:13.230 --> 00:17:18.910
And my mom, who's 84, is trying to be the caretaker, and that's she just can't do it.
00:17:19.150 --> 00:17:25.230
So I retired from my job early, and we just decided to get a camper and move up here.
00:17:25.309 --> 00:17:30.110
So we've been doing this for a couple of years, but this summer he has really progressed.
00:17:30.829 --> 00:17:31.870
So yeah.
00:17:32.509 --> 00:17:35.309
But God is walking us gracefully through that too.
00:17:35.549 --> 00:17:36.430
You know, He is.
00:17:37.230 --> 00:17:38.430
Yeah, absolutely.
00:17:38.670 --> 00:17:53.230
I think that this was the perfect time for Fastid Faith to come into your life because I can't imagine handling all of that without a strong faith, without a strong relationship with God, you know.
00:17:53.870 --> 00:17:56.430
Well, this program is all about support.
00:17:56.590 --> 00:18:04.110
And the ladies in the coaching academy, even though I don't talk about this a lot, um, they I feel their support, you know.
00:18:04.269 --> 00:18:08.750
These are ladies of faith, and they say wonderful prayers.
00:18:08.829 --> 00:18:18.509
And if like I needed them, all I would have to do is get into the sisterhood, type out what I needed, and I know they would come to my rescue in prayer.
00:18:18.829 --> 00:18:28.670
And I just feel so supported, and the program is wonderful, and it's so exciting to be a part of something that's bigger than me.
00:18:28.829 --> 00:18:42.269
I feel like God has allowed me to join you in this important work, and I just feel so blessed to be a part of it, and it's something positive for me to focus on, and that has really, really helped me.
00:18:43.069 --> 00:18:45.870
Oh my gosh, you're giving me goosebumps, Beverly.
00:18:45.950 --> 00:18:46.829
That's so good.
00:18:46.990 --> 00:18:53.470
Yes, I think we are all here to live a life bigger than ourselves.
00:18:53.630 --> 00:19:01.630
We are here to serve others, and I I think the most powerful way to do that is in a community.
00:19:01.789 --> 00:19:09.390
And honestly, so many people they have church hurt or they have been betrayed by people close to them.
00:19:09.470 --> 00:19:17.389
And I would just say, like, you should always continue to begin again, look for a new group.
00:19:17.549 --> 00:19:38.829
I what I love about our Fast of Faith Sisterhood is like it's a judgment-free zone, and there's no competition, even though you're all coaches and you're you know helping other women, you're collaborating, you're not in competition, you're lifting each other up, and like, hey, how can you help me with this?
00:19:38.990 --> 00:19:40.670
And how can I help you with that?
00:19:40.829 --> 00:19:44.589
And like, I just don't see that anywhere else.
00:19:44.750 --> 00:19:59.309
And you know, I I wish I could take credit, but like God has done such incredible things, He's just bringing the right women into our community, and you are just such a shining example of it.
00:19:59.470 --> 00:20:01.710
I like want everyone to know you.
00:20:03.549 --> 00:20:10.670
Oh yeah, you're so brave, you're so courageous, and you're persistent and tenacious.
00:20:10.829 --> 00:20:13.869
Like, uh tell us again how young you are.
00:20:14.190 --> 00:20:16.190
Oh, I'm I'm 62 years young.
00:20:16.430 --> 00:20:17.230
62.
00:20:18.029 --> 00:20:23.389
Yes, like unfortunately, a lot of women just give up, you know.
00:20:23.470 --> 00:20:26.349
They're like, Well, I guess this is just my lot in life.
00:20:26.430 --> 00:20:29.069
Uh, this is my addiction, this is how it is.
00:20:29.230 --> 00:20:31.869
And you're like, no, I'm not giving up.
00:20:32.029 --> 00:20:34.029
I know God has better for me.
00:20:34.269 --> 00:20:45.789
So I know that you've inspired somebody today because they're like, wait, I'm not, you know, in my 30s or 40s anymore, but I can still do this.
00:20:45.950 --> 00:20:48.109
Like, yes, absolutely.
00:20:48.589 --> 00:20:51.869
Oh, well, you can feel this good at 62.
00:20:51.950 --> 00:20:53.230
You can feel this good.
00:20:53.710 --> 00:20:55.230
Yeah, absolutely.
00:20:55.389 --> 00:20:56.509
I love that so much.
00:20:56.670 --> 00:21:02.349
Well, Beverly, end us with a message for the women that are listening.
00:21:02.509 --> 00:21:08.430
Because there are some women who, you know, they've found me one way or another, but they're just not sure.
00:21:08.670 --> 00:21:10.990
Is this the answer to my prayers?
00:21:11.150 --> 00:21:13.389
Is this what I'm supposed to be hearing?
00:21:13.549 --> 00:21:18.910
And just help reassure them that they're on the right path.
00:21:19.069 --> 00:21:21.309
And what is your message for them?
00:21:21.629 --> 00:21:27.470
My message would be you can get your health back, you can get closer to God.
00:21:27.710 --> 00:21:35.230
He wants you to have a life of abundance and join the sisterhood because there is nothing but love and support here.
00:21:35.309 --> 00:21:37.869
So come join us, be a part.
00:21:38.109 --> 00:21:40.670
We are here for you, and we love you.
00:21:41.309 --> 00:21:43.470
Oh, I love that so much.
00:21:43.710 --> 00:21:52.109
Yes, we are called to be Christ's hands to serve, we are called to live in community and lift each other up.
00:21:52.269 --> 00:21:56.509
And sometimes it's challenging, but it's so worth it.
00:21:56.589 --> 00:22:01.069
And I love seeing you on the other side of all of your struggles.
00:22:01.150 --> 00:22:02.029
It's so good.
00:22:02.190 --> 00:22:08.269
And we are continuing to be with you as you navigate this time with your dad.
00:22:08.509 --> 00:22:11.150
You're just you're just an amazing woman.
00:22:11.230 --> 00:22:15.389
So thank you for sharing your story with us this morning.
00:22:15.710 --> 00:22:16.509
You're welcome.
00:22:16.670 --> 00:22:18.029
This is a wonderful program.
00:22:18.109 --> 00:22:20.029
This is a wonderful place to be.
00:23:01.789 --> 00:23:02.829
Oh my gosh.
00:23:03.869 --> 00:23:04.190
Right?
00:23:04.509 --> 00:23:06.269
Like, that's truly what it is.
00:23:06.430 --> 00:23:08.750
You just got to get into some forward action.
00:23:08.910 --> 00:23:19.150
So, like you said, like joining the sisterhood or doing a gut healing program or becoming a certified coach, like whatever that next step is.
00:23:19.389 --> 00:23:21.869
So, we are here for you, ladies.
00:23:22.029 --> 00:23:25.710
I know that Beverly's story touched you in some way.
00:23:25.869 --> 00:23:28.829
I hope you got some good golden nuggets out of that.
00:23:29.150 --> 00:23:33.869
But continue to seek God and just ask him.
00:23:34.430 --> 00:23:40.829
And, you know, you mentioned earlier, you used to beg and pray like God heal me, God help me.
00:23:41.069 --> 00:23:51.629
And I would invite anybody who's listening, let's get out of that begging prayer mindset because I was there for too long as well.
00:23:51.710 --> 00:23:57.950
I prayed like that for 45 years, and then I realized like we have so much power.
00:23:58.190 --> 00:24:01.710
God gives us power and authority, it's all throughout the Bible.
00:24:01.789 --> 00:24:05.069
So we just have to say, I'm ready to receive God.
00:24:05.230 --> 00:24:06.829
What do you have for me?
00:24:07.069 --> 00:24:15.789
Show me your will for me, give me the desires that you have for me, and He will just start like showing up.
00:24:16.109 --> 00:24:22.109
So I would really encourage you to trust Romans 8 28.
00:24:22.430 --> 00:24:29.869
God is creating everything for your good, no matter what crooked paths are happening, He's trying to make them straight.
00:24:30.190 --> 00:24:37.549
Just if you can trust, yes, God, I don't understand it, but it's all for your good, then you are gonna have a breakthrough.
00:24:37.710 --> 00:24:40.750
So thank you for staying with us, ladies.
00:24:40.829 --> 00:24:41.789
I love you so much.
00:24:41.950 --> 00:24:44.910
We are here to support you, and thank you, Beverly.
00:24:46.349 --> 00:24:46.910
Thank you.
00:24:47.549 --> 00:24:48.829
See you ladies next week.
