Hi, I'm Dr.
00:00:28.559 --> 00:00:32.960
Katie Toe, the Wellness Dentist, and welcome to the Wellness Dentist Podcast.
00:00:33.119 --> 00:00:47.920
Today we have a very special guest, and not only this guest been so into wellness holistic dentistry, learns so much and has so much knowledge about this, but he actually been through this journey himself as a patient.
00:00:48.159 --> 00:00:51.520
And he's here today to share the patient's success story.
00:00:51.759 --> 00:00:53.759
So hi Hamid, welcome.
00:00:54.399 --> 00:00:55.119
Good morning, Dr.
00:00:55.200 --> 00:00:55.520
Katie.
00:00:55.759 --> 00:00:56.240
Great to be here.
00:00:56.320 --> 00:01:03.600
Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity today to share the post-surgical experience as well as the preparation as and the day of the surgical experience.
00:01:04.400 --> 00:01:10.879
So, of course, first of all, we just not wake up and say, I need to go see a holistic biological wellness dentist.
00:01:11.040 --> 00:01:16.239
Can you share with me how did you start this dental journey into this wellness holistic journey?
00:01:16.560 --> 00:01:26.799
Yeah, so I used to be always going to the conventional dentistry part until last year because back in 2015, I started uh, you know, venturing out into the functional medicine.
00:01:26.959 --> 00:01:32.560
And functional medicine now these days is also paying attention to the dental side, but not back then.
00:01:32.719 --> 00:01:38.879
So I worked with several functional practitioners throughout the nation, and they always focus straight on the gut health.
00:01:39.040 --> 00:01:44.560
So they put me on all kinds of protocols after protocols and all functional lab testing.
00:01:44.719 --> 00:01:55.519
And while you were on the protocol, you felt great the moment you come off the protocols, which are mostly, you know, herbal supplements, and you start to get those symptoms kind of, you know, come back again.
00:01:55.760 --> 00:01:58.159
So you wonder if there is something missing, you know.
00:01:58.239 --> 00:02:05.760
So is it, and I'm of the belief that usually you have diet playing a role, toxins, okay, and pathogens.
00:02:05.920 --> 00:02:13.680
So I took my journey with the help from the practitioners, functional specifically, to kind of rule out which one is it.
00:02:13.919 --> 00:02:16.159
So diet is easier to fix, right?
00:02:16.240 --> 00:02:21.599
So you switch out from, hey, non-GMO, go completely organic, you know, if if possible.
00:02:21.840 --> 00:02:26.639
And then the toxins, so you know, we talk about clean air, clean food, clean water.
00:02:26.800 --> 00:02:32.719
So clean food and clean water are easier to do, but the clean air is the most challenging, okay?
00:02:32.960 --> 00:02:36.319
Because so I know your facility over here is surgically clean.
00:02:36.560 --> 00:02:36.800
That's right.
00:02:37.039 --> 00:02:40.080
But that's not what you get in most of the public places, right?
00:02:40.400 --> 00:02:41.599
As well as in your homes.
00:02:41.759 --> 00:02:46.719
So that's where, you know, then I then that was the next focus, and because trying to rule out, okay, what is it?
00:02:46.879 --> 00:02:55.680
And then the pathogen part, so pathogen part is where, so the thing is the pathogens could have a localized effect or a systemic effect in your body, right?
00:02:55.840 --> 00:03:03.680
So then after working through each one, then last year I was like, there has to be something else going on, which we have missed so far.
00:03:03.919 --> 00:03:13.919
And then I looked up on the biological dentistry website and looked you up, and then I met you, and it was a very thorough evaluation, initial two hours.
00:03:14.080 --> 00:03:15.919
I guess it was a little over two hours.
00:03:16.000 --> 00:03:16.159
Yeah.
00:03:16.479 --> 00:03:21.039
And then you sat down and you had did your evaluation, and then you sent me to Dr.
00:03:21.199 --> 00:03:21.360
Don.
00:03:21.680 --> 00:03:22.000
That's right.
00:03:22.159 --> 00:03:28.080
And after getting my evaluation, I called my wife that, you know, you come in and have the kids also seen by Dr.
00:03:28.240 --> 00:03:28.560
Katie.
00:03:29.039 --> 00:03:29.919
So I went to Dr.
00:03:30.080 --> 00:03:34.400
Don, and this is one thing as which I have not heard never heard of, EAV.
00:03:34.639 --> 00:03:34.960
That's right.
00:03:35.599 --> 00:03:45.120
So I was familiar with the muscle testing, you know, which most of the chiropractors or the holistic practitioners do, but never had heard of EAV, which is kind of a muscle testing for your dental health.
00:03:45.360 --> 00:03:45.599
That's right.
00:03:45.840 --> 00:03:47.520
So when you had referred me to Dr.
00:03:47.680 --> 00:03:55.840
Dawn, I had no clue with that, you know, how they're able to tell you, not just for your dental health, but kind of your whole body assessment.
00:03:56.240 --> 00:03:57.599
So it was great meeting Dr.
00:03:57.759 --> 00:04:04.319
Dawn as well, and she did my EAV, and then so she gave me a kind of a quick rundown after it.
00:04:04.400 --> 00:04:05.840
Hey, this is what I'm seeing.
00:04:06.000 --> 00:04:15.280
And she picked up some things beyond dental, and she said, okay, these you can work with your functional doctor, and which I did, and then I had questions follow up from Dr.
00:04:15.360 --> 00:04:27.600
Dawn's findings, and then you were generous enough to give me a time here, like, okay, this is what is indicating that on number 17 and number 32, you have cavitations issue.
00:04:27.759 --> 00:04:30.879
So this goes back to when I had my wisdom tooth extracted.
00:04:30.959 --> 00:04:34.480
These were in Los Angeles, so I used to live in California back then.
00:04:34.720 --> 00:04:39.439
And usually when you have the extraction done, wisdom tooth extraction, your body is very smart.
00:04:39.600 --> 00:04:44.879
It gives you symptoms, and then it's up to you to follow up to those symptoms or mask them, right?
00:04:45.279 --> 00:04:50.480
And most of the medicine practices around masking symptoms rather than going after the root cause.
00:04:50.639 --> 00:04:55.439
So, likewise, back then I didn't have any functional background or or passion about it.
00:04:55.600 --> 00:05:01.040
So I kind of was part of the regular public and say, okay, it might be something else, so just ignore.
00:05:01.199 --> 00:05:03.839
But but I'm pretty sure the body gave me symptoms back then.
00:05:04.399 --> 00:05:11.519
And then nobody else picked up until I saw you that this could be what is the missing piece of the puzzle.
00:05:11.680 --> 00:05:23.040
Because remember, like I said, that I had worked with all functional practitioners, environmental medicine practitioners, just to rule out is it toxins, pathogens, where they are hiding in the body to go after them.
00:05:23.279 --> 00:05:38.160
So when you propose that this is the procedure you do typically, and so I had to kind of take a take time to digest, and I was still, because I had a couple other surgeries in the past, and the post-surgical experiences were not that great.
00:05:38.319 --> 00:05:40.879
These were conventional surgeries, you know, not dental.
00:05:41.040 --> 00:05:43.279
And I was hesitant, you could tell, right?
00:05:43.439 --> 00:05:44.319
So absolutely.
00:05:44.639 --> 00:05:45.759
And then I was like, Dr.
00:05:45.839 --> 00:05:47.600
Katie, you know, I want to walk through.
00:05:47.920 --> 00:05:50.879
So I started, I took some of the health in my own hands.
00:05:51.040 --> 00:05:56.560
I was like, okay, there has to be a certain sequence in which I need to do the detox out of the body.
00:05:56.800 --> 00:06:05.519
So I started doing that in a sequence, okay, which is kind of nowadays little well known than it was in the back, you know, back in those years.
00:06:05.680 --> 00:06:06.800
So I started tackling it.
00:06:06.879 --> 00:06:24.079
I was under the impression that by going through that sequential detox and specifically, you know, taking care of the parasites, bacteria, fungus, and then viruses, retroviruses, I thought that maybe those protocols or the detox will take care of this, and I won't have to go under the knife.
00:06:24.399 --> 00:06:36.399
And in between that time, so last year is when I when I saw you first, but in between that time, I continued my detox protocol, which is usually you st you stay a month to two months on each kind of phase.
00:06:36.480 --> 00:06:36.720
Yes.
00:06:36.879 --> 00:06:43.120
And you walk through that, and I had my follow-ups with my practitioners, you know, checking on how everything is going and all.
00:06:43.279 --> 00:06:46.240
So because there was a dual-sided benefit of it.
00:06:46.399 --> 00:06:51.680
One, to see if that protocol will take care of this issue, I won't have to go under the knife.
00:06:52.160 --> 00:07:01.120
And second was it will prep, it will prep my body by going after and chasing all those healing opportunities to be able to say that Dr.
00:07:01.279 --> 00:07:02.720
KD, now I'm ready for it.
00:07:02.800 --> 00:07:07.680
I've ruled out all those other things, and those are not the ones I thought, let's go do it.
00:07:07.920 --> 00:07:15.519
So that's when, so after going through that, and so those prepared my body well because your body produces limited amount of energy.
00:07:15.920 --> 00:07:21.040
So that energy, it's either used to heal your body or to fight those infections.
00:07:21.199 --> 00:07:21.439
That's right.
00:07:21.600 --> 00:07:30.720
So I wanted to make sure that all those infections were cleared out, whatever you were dealing with, because lab testings, you know, on the functional side is not 100% accurate.
00:07:30.800 --> 00:07:35.360
Sometimes they miss out whether you go for saliva testing, you know, stool testing and all.
00:07:35.600 --> 00:07:44.399
So I went through those phases and then I was like, okay, so I scheduled, you know, with your friend, with your friend staff, I said, hey, this is the date, I'm ready for it.
00:07:44.959 --> 00:07:56.000
So the preparation part, you know, before the surgery was kind of making sure because I was always under the impression that during the surgery, the moment you open up those things, that was done 15 years ago, right?
00:07:56.079 --> 00:08:01.120
So I knew there will be some kind of hidden pathogens which are gonna get flushed out.
00:08:01.279 --> 00:08:13.519
So which means your body has to be ready to filter them out because otherwise you will be dealing with the post-surgical experience, it would not be that much fun because now your body has to deal with extra burden.
00:08:13.839 --> 00:08:18.000
I mean, not only the healing part, but now to dump those toxins out.
00:08:18.160 --> 00:08:23.360
And you know, we have you can so all those toxins, you have only certain pathways in the body.
00:08:23.519 --> 00:08:27.600
You either poop them out, you pee them out, you breathe them out, or you sweat them out.
00:08:28.000 --> 00:08:28.240
Right.
00:08:28.879 --> 00:08:37.360
And anybody who is blocked in any one of these channels, are gonna have those kind of Hersheimer reactions, you know, or Hershaks.
00:08:37.919 --> 00:08:45.039
So I did all that prep work by going through that detox sequence to make sure that I don't face any of those challenges.
00:08:45.440 --> 00:08:46.639
And I was glad I did it.
00:08:46.720 --> 00:08:47.360
Yeah, you know.
00:08:47.519 --> 00:09:02.639
So even though it didn't rule out, and I can tell you now that these cavitations, no matter what kind of supplements or binders, whether localized or systemic, somebody is taking cavitations, those cannot go in and start taking care of those.
00:09:02.960 --> 00:09:03.840
Those are hidden.
00:09:03.919 --> 00:09:06.080
So you definitely need somebody like Dr.
00:09:06.240 --> 00:09:07.600
Katie and Dr.
00:09:07.759 --> 00:09:10.960
Dawn who could tell you for sure that this is what.
00:09:11.120 --> 00:09:19.440
And if I take a step back, another thing, so you know, so the body entire body, but then another thing which plays a key role in one's health is your sinuses.
00:09:20.159 --> 00:09:22.240
Okay, so remember I said the clean air part.
00:09:22.960 --> 00:09:29.759
So no amount of supplements can compete with the amount of air that you to breathe, anybody breathes throughout the day.
00:09:30.000 --> 00:09:35.600
And if that air is not clean, I'm talking about whether it's residential, commercial, you know, set up.
00:09:35.759 --> 00:09:39.519
So your body is burdened with those toxins that are coming through that air.
00:09:39.679 --> 00:09:42.799
So indoor air quality is what I'm basically referring to, right?
00:09:43.039 --> 00:09:53.600
So I worked with some of the smartest ENTs in the nation, and they were able to fix my sinus health by telling me that this is the underlying cause, and you need to work on that.
00:09:53.759 --> 00:09:57.039
And they put me on the protocols, and those did wonders.
00:09:57.279 --> 00:10:06.159
So after basically ruling out any issues on the gut health, systemic health, sinus health, then the next was let's do the dentistry part, right?
00:10:06.399 --> 00:10:08.960
And that's where the conventional side is not there yet.
00:10:09.039 --> 00:10:17.519
And the biological dentistry, I'm fortunate, that is helping all patients around the world like me to get back in health, you know.
00:10:17.759 --> 00:10:18.000
Yeah.
00:10:18.159 --> 00:10:22.559
I'm pretty sure a lot of listeners right now asking, what is gravitation?
00:10:22.879 --> 00:10:23.200
Right?
00:10:23.360 --> 00:10:23.600
Right.
00:10:23.840 --> 00:10:26.879
Because uh some of us know it was even new to me, right?
00:10:27.120 --> 00:10:28.080
When I saw you last year, yeah.
00:10:28.320 --> 00:10:28.559
Yeah.
00:10:28.720 --> 00:10:30.559
And then now you know what it is.
00:10:30.720 --> 00:10:34.559
What do you think that is now that you know and you've been experienced that in your own word?
00:10:34.799 --> 00:10:36.159
What is cavitation to you?
00:10:36.480 --> 00:10:48.080
So this is like an infected leftover bone, okay, where all kinds of bacteria are growing, and the longer the time duration that you are given, the worst it is.
00:10:48.320 --> 00:10:51.039
Because, okay, another thing that I learned from you and Dr.
00:10:51.200 --> 00:10:52.639
Dawn was the meridian chart.
00:10:52.799 --> 00:10:53.120
That's right.
00:10:53.279 --> 00:10:53.519
Right?
00:10:54.000 --> 00:10:57.120
I had never seen that in any practitioner's office.
00:10:57.279 --> 00:11:06.639
So what that shows was your whatever teeth we are referring to, but in my case it was 17 and 32, it's linked to all other body organs and glands.
00:11:07.120 --> 00:11:12.960
So it was impacting those because the functional lab testing was picking up, and I'm a root cause person.
00:11:13.120 --> 00:11:13.440
Yeah.
00:11:13.759 --> 00:11:15.919
But we were not able to find, okay, what is it?
00:11:16.320 --> 00:11:16.720
Right?
00:11:16.960 --> 00:11:23.279
So that's when I was ready to go, you know, take this route, because I had already ruled out everything else, right?
00:11:23.679 --> 00:11:28.960
So cavitation is even though localized, but it has systemic effects on all over your body.
00:11:29.120 --> 00:11:29.440
That's right.
00:11:29.600 --> 00:11:33.919
So in my case, the main things were small intestinal health.
00:11:34.399 --> 00:11:44.399
So remember, I said that all those protocols were working great, while two months were like, oh, all those symptoms gone, you know, with specifically the gut health focus, but then they were coming back again.
00:11:44.639 --> 00:11:45.120
I see.
00:11:45.440 --> 00:11:55.519
So yeah, it's just, you know, kind of your whenever, so I would suggest that anybody who does those wisdom tooth attraction be watchful of any symptoms that show up afterwards.
00:11:55.600 --> 00:12:17.120
And if you're lucky enough to find a biological dentist nearby and wherever you live around the world, go see one or maybe get that appointment before you go to the business so they can guide you through, okay, what you need to be watchful of, and then have a follow-up whenever you're ready to kind of clean up that site, you know, so that you don't wait and have your body suffer through that extra burden of all those infections, you know.
00:12:17.519 --> 00:12:23.360
And you did mention in the past you didn't have a very pleasant post-op experience.
00:12:23.600 --> 00:12:26.080
That's one of the reasons why you're hesitant to begin with.
00:12:26.159 --> 00:12:37.440
Like, I don't want to go under the knife, I don't want to get a surgery, if I can detox, and but then you did it, you when you're ready for it, mentally you're ready for it and you got it done.
00:12:37.840 --> 00:12:39.919
Tell us about your post-op experience.
00:12:40.240 --> 00:12:40.399
Yeah.
00:12:40.559 --> 00:12:46.399
So in this one, you know, like I kind of briefly mentioned that the preparation phase before the surgery, so we covered that detail.
00:12:46.559 --> 00:12:49.360
So now let's come to the day of the surgery, right?
00:12:49.600 --> 00:12:57.200
So another thing I would suggest is most of the conventional side doesn't take into the adrenal glands' health, also.
00:12:57.679 --> 00:13:02.240
So before you go for any surgery, so surgery is a stressor to your body, right?
00:13:02.399 --> 00:13:02.720
That's right.
00:13:02.879 --> 00:13:12.000
And if your adrenal glands are there to produce that cortisol, which kind of works against that stressor, I kind of put you in a sweet spot, right?
00:13:12.320 --> 00:13:15.600
For the healing as well as the anti-inflammatory properties.
00:13:15.840 --> 00:13:21.679
So I had seen kind of the functional side for adrenal health, but on the conventional side, they do a test.
00:13:21.759 --> 00:13:29.519
I would suggest everybody who is choosing not just cavitation surgery, but any surgery, to do an ACTH test for your adrenal.
00:13:29.759 --> 00:13:36.480
So where they check that without any additional adrenal support, are your glands ready to handle?
00:13:36.639 --> 00:13:36.879
Okay.
00:13:37.200 --> 00:13:42.720
So in my case, I had all of that done and everybody gave me the thumbs up, like you're ready to go.
00:13:43.200 --> 00:13:46.799
But one thing they proposed, and I would suggest that I even Dr.
00:13:46.879 --> 00:13:49.919
Don, you know, when I saw on the day of the surgery, she said, Hey, that is smart.
00:13:50.000 --> 00:13:51.840
Who is your endocrinologist, by the way?
00:13:51.919 --> 00:13:55.519
You know, I said she, you know, she has functional kind of background too.
00:13:55.600 --> 00:14:05.200
And she said, That's smart because my endocrinologist proposed me that, hey, the testing-wise is all good, but I still suggest you take some hydrocortisone, it's a prescription.
00:14:05.360 --> 00:14:09.440
So some major surgeries, the surgeon would inject that via IV.
00:14:10.000 --> 00:14:18.639
But in cases like me, where your glands producing enough, you don't need it through IV, and you can just take a pill a couple hours before the surgery.
00:14:18.720 --> 00:14:21.759
In my case, I took it three hours before, so it was hydrocortisone.
00:14:22.000 --> 00:14:23.440
I think the other name is CORTAF.
00:14:23.600 --> 00:14:25.759
And but no other supplements, nothing.
00:14:26.000 --> 00:14:27.279
Because another thing, and Dr.
00:14:27.440 --> 00:14:35.440
Don told me about it, is sometimes if you load up on vitamin C before the surgery, the anesthesia doesn't work that much, and you have to kind of inject more.
00:14:35.600 --> 00:14:35.840
Yeah.
00:14:36.000 --> 00:14:44.799
And another piece of advice I want to share is which I went for, I know your office gives you option, you can do the local or the full body.
00:14:44.879 --> 00:14:45.039
Yeah.
00:14:45.200 --> 00:14:46.240
And I chose the local.
00:14:46.399 --> 00:14:46.559
Yeah.
00:14:46.720 --> 00:14:55.600
And I would say that after going through the surgery, I'm fully confident that you know anybody can do this, can handle this surgery under local anesthesia.
00:14:56.000 --> 00:15:03.759
And another benefit of that is because whatever your body considers this as foreign and it has to extract it, right?
00:15:03.919 --> 00:15:11.440
So if you do it systemic, it's longer recovery, more burden, you know, on your liver, your kidneys, and to filter that out, right?
00:15:11.519 --> 00:15:14.960
So local, it's it's faster to get excreted out of your body.
00:15:15.120 --> 00:15:17.759
So I chose that, and I'm glad you were supportive of that part.
00:15:18.720 --> 00:15:22.320
So before the surgery, that was the kind of the thing on the day of the surgery.
00:15:22.799 --> 00:15:27.600
And another thing that came up uh was the IV before the surgery.
00:15:27.840 --> 00:15:29.519
But my surgery was on a Monday.
00:15:29.600 --> 00:15:38.480
So, you know, a day before the surgery, the IV option were rarely available because Sunday most of the places are were not open.
00:15:38.720 --> 00:15:49.519
But some options were available, but then after discussion with my practitioners, so we say, okay, the day of the surgery, specifically post-surgery, is more imperative than pre-surgery.
00:15:49.600 --> 00:15:54.159
So pre-surgery is just the you know, kind of some kind of adrenal support is good enough.
00:15:54.320 --> 00:16:04.799
And then you come with your calm mind, have a good night's sleep, you know, and then right at the surgery time, I mean, I was already uh kind of comfortable being in really good hands, you know, Dr.
00:16:04.960 --> 00:16:05.840
Katie and Dr.
00:16:06.000 --> 00:16:10.399
Don being there throughout the procedure with me and your staff, right?
00:16:10.639 --> 00:16:17.840
So, so I was the guy who has been like you mentioned that all post operatives in the past were not so good.
00:16:18.240 --> 00:16:26.960
Because in the pre-op, they would make it feel like it's a piece of cake and don't give you all like, hey, this is what other additional things you could do to prep your body.
00:16:27.200 --> 00:16:32.159
So you just walk out with just some prescriptions and it's like, okay, just show up on the day of surgery, right?
00:16:32.320 --> 00:16:35.840
But not really a full details about the post-operative one.
00:16:36.000 --> 00:16:41.840
But over here, your staff, yourself, I'm I'm sure you can tell that I was the guy who was asking all kinds of questions.
00:16:42.080 --> 00:16:52.960
I would come in on every appointment or every consultation with the sheet full of you know questions, yeah, and then ask you one by one, and you were always generous to give you time to answer those queries.
00:16:53.120 --> 00:16:58.399
So during the surgery, I had the most amazing experience, right, during as well as post.
00:16:58.960 --> 00:17:02.879
So during, because while you were doing the extraction, right, Dr.
00:17:03.120 --> 00:17:08.079
Dawn was holding my hand and she was doing some acupuncture point, okay, right?
00:17:08.240 --> 00:17:08.400
Yeah.
00:17:08.640 --> 00:17:16.960
And I'm sure that played a big role because she told me as well as you mentioned that, hey, if you feel anything besides pressure, let us know.
00:17:17.279 --> 00:17:23.119
And there was one moment I recall that I had, I think you did my right first and then you went to the other side.
00:17:23.440 --> 00:17:23.920
And Dr.
00:17:24.079 --> 00:17:29.680
Don told me if you squeeze my hand, that will be your signal because I was I couldn't talk while you were operating.
00:17:29.920 --> 00:17:32.880
But in between, we were chatting, three of us were chatting, right?
00:17:33.200 --> 00:17:38.160
So I had this influx of energy, massive energy influx.
00:17:38.400 --> 00:17:38.559
Yeah.
00:17:38.720 --> 00:17:45.680
Okay, the moment you were just done with this, it was a moment as if some circuit just got linked back.
00:17:45.839 --> 00:17:51.279
Like there was some missing impulse, you know, and it got connected, and I squeezed that hand, you know.
00:17:51.680 --> 00:17:52.000
And Dr.
00:17:52.160 --> 00:17:57.599
Don was like, hey, hey, you know, he did it, and there is probably something additional.
00:17:57.839 --> 00:18:02.799
So at that time I couldn't say it, but after when you were done, I said, this is what I felt.
00:18:03.119 --> 00:18:03.599
Amazing.
00:18:03.839 --> 00:18:04.079
Right?
00:18:04.319 --> 00:18:09.039
That's also the benefit of doing under local anesthesia and not when you're out.
00:18:09.200 --> 00:18:09.519
Yes.
00:18:09.759 --> 00:18:15.440
You could have to experience that reconnection, that energy rush back in the circus.
00:18:15.839 --> 00:18:16.319
Right, right.
00:18:16.480 --> 00:18:21.920
So that was like the first aha moment, you know, like hey, and then the other part, I think you and Dr.
00:18:22.079 --> 00:18:30.880
Dawn were capturing the live EAV, which is another incredible tool, because you could see that that action live, right?
00:18:31.039 --> 00:18:36.240
Hey, the scores over there, because now I know a little bit about the EAV after learning from you and Dr.
00:18:36.400 --> 00:18:41.599
Dawn that hey, your scores are between 48 to 52, and 50 is kind of your sweet spot, right?
00:18:42.000 --> 00:18:47.119
And another thing I think I forgot to mention was EAV is the only tool you and Dr.
00:18:47.200 --> 00:18:53.279
Dawn mentioned to me, and I totally agree, which accurately predicts the cavitation issues.
00:18:53.920 --> 00:19:05.039
You could go do all these other scans, cone bean CT, cone bean CT, and then there is a I think uh I had mentioned it it came up in my functional training, Cavitat, I think it's probably something you're right.
00:19:06.000 --> 00:19:08.000
But those still miss out.
00:19:08.160 --> 00:19:19.680
So I would suggest everybody that, and if they're seeing you, you're gonna send them for EAV anyways, that's right, to get that done, and specifically during your first two-hour initial consultation, right?
00:19:20.079 --> 00:19:22.960
And uh because otherwise you miss out that opportunity, you know.
00:19:23.119 --> 00:19:34.079
So yeah, so during that, so after that moment, that influx of that great positive energy, I was like, wow, this is so that was probably what I was missing for the last 15 years, right?
00:19:34.319 --> 00:19:35.440
15 years, yeah.
00:19:35.680 --> 00:19:42.079
So because I'm sure body gave me symptoms back then, but you know, you always think, oh, this might be something else.
00:19:42.160 --> 00:19:49.440
Nobody can correlate it back to it, might be the extraction, wisdom extra teeth extraction, which was done recently, right?
00:19:49.599 --> 00:19:59.920
You start going seeing based on your symptoms, X, Y, Z specialist, and they'll probably, you know, you walk out with a like they say, pill for every ill kind of you know, methodology.
00:20:00.079 --> 00:20:00.240
Yeah.
00:20:00.400 --> 00:20:06.559
And then you mask the symptom, and you say, okay, things cleared out, and and you say, okay, one less worry, right?
00:20:06.720 --> 00:20:11.279
And then about the so during surgery, local anesthesia, awesome.
00:20:11.519 --> 00:20:19.119
And then with the live EAV, when you and you kept cleaning it up until we saw the score held constant, 50.
00:20:19.279 --> 00:20:30.240
And I remember, and this is like you just alluded to the great benefit of being a local anesthesia, that I was still conscious, being able to listen and feel what the changes your body immediately is getting into.
00:20:30.960 --> 00:20:31.920
All positive.
00:20:32.559 --> 00:20:44.640
And so when we saw, and I think you did, hey, let's check the second time to make sure, and then it was still, you know, I think it was, if I remember the curve, it was like at the bottom, whatever was on the scale, and then 50, right?
00:20:44.880 --> 00:20:47.200
And then you tested it again and it said 50.
00:20:47.279 --> 00:20:48.640
It's like, okay, we are done.
00:20:48.799 --> 00:20:50.000
Congratulations, right?
00:20:50.160 --> 00:20:50.319
Yeah.
00:20:50.480 --> 00:20:57.359
And then the things that you do in your office, right, which you did uh, you know, uh personally on me, you did the biomodulation?
00:20:57.519 --> 00:20:57.839
Correct.
00:20:57.920 --> 00:21:00.319
And then the ozone, ozone water.
00:21:00.480 --> 00:21:02.319
That's right, ozone water, ozone gas.
00:21:02.480 --> 00:21:02.720
Yes.
00:21:02.799 --> 00:21:04.079
Yeah, and then the laser.
00:21:04.480 --> 00:21:05.440
Pulsed laser.
00:21:05.599 --> 00:21:06.079
Yes.
00:21:06.319 --> 00:21:07.599
That was awesome.
00:21:07.759 --> 00:21:08.079
Yeah.
00:21:08.319 --> 00:21:12.480
You know that very high intensity pulsation with the laser light.
00:21:12.720 --> 00:21:16.480
I think that, and I think you did PRF before the laser or after the laser?
00:21:16.720 --> 00:21:23.839
After the laser, it's cleaning everything out, then we put back into your cell pack into the site so your body can start the healing immediately.
00:21:24.079 --> 00:21:24.559
Correct.
00:21:24.720 --> 00:21:32.960
So the PRF and with the combination of all these, you have this well-written protocol because that's what you gave me out, right, when the surgical procedure was proposed.
00:21:33.119 --> 00:21:44.079
So on that one, I'll tell you that with combination of all those modalities that you did, you know, right with uh right with uh within the surgical procedure, I didn't have any bleeding.
00:21:44.319 --> 00:21:45.039
No bleeding.
00:21:45.119 --> 00:21:53.359
Because usually in all you do get a sinus surgery, you get any other surgery, the post operative bleeding is every physician's concern, right?
00:21:54.000 --> 00:21:59.599
And in my case, I think you you had given me detailed discharge instruction, and it did mention, and in the kit, you had.
00:22:00.079 --> 00:22:02.160
Given some tea packets, right, to put it all.
00:22:02.720 --> 00:22:04.799
And I didn't end up using any of them.
00:22:04.960 --> 00:22:06.720
Probably need to use them just for drinking tea.
00:22:09.119 --> 00:22:12.559
And uh so that was great because I was worried, you know, for the first 48 hours.
00:22:12.640 --> 00:22:19.440
So I was paying attention, you know, like okay, if anything else, just looking in the mirror, but nothing, no bleeding at all.
00:22:19.599 --> 00:22:26.160
And then so right after, so you had given me a card for an IV clinic locally here.
00:22:26.640 --> 00:22:35.920
So I inquired with them a week before the surgery because Sunday I was already sure that I don't want to get an IV on Sunday, but post-surgical was imperative.
00:22:36.240 --> 00:22:44.640
So I called them and inquired about they said we have these off-the-shelf options which we recommend to every like every patient post-surgery.
00:22:44.799 --> 00:22:46.160
I said, I, you know, Dr.
00:22:46.319 --> 00:22:47.920
Katie is the one who gave me this.
00:22:48.000 --> 00:22:52.160
Oh, we are very familiar with them and their staff, and she herself comes here and all.
00:22:52.319 --> 00:22:55.839
So I was like, okay, uh, so I'm in good hands even on that side.
00:22:55.920 --> 00:22:56.079
Yeah.
00:22:56.240 --> 00:22:59.119
So which gave me the confidence to go forward with them.
00:22:59.200 --> 00:23:06.000
And so I told them based on my functional knowledge and going through the training myself, I said, how can I customize it?
00:23:07.359 --> 00:23:08.640
Of course, the cost goes a little bit higher.
00:23:08.799 --> 00:23:10.880
So that's fine, but let's do that.
00:23:11.039 --> 00:23:19.359
So, because their off the shelf had B vitamins, glutathione, high dosage vitamin C and magnesium.
00:23:19.440 --> 00:23:21.920
So those four definitely everybody needs.
00:23:22.160 --> 00:23:22.400
Okay.
00:23:22.960 --> 00:23:27.039
And when I say high vitamin, the C dosage is 25 gram.
00:23:27.440 --> 00:23:28.240
Gram, exactly.
00:23:28.640 --> 00:23:34.000
And even in your pre-let's say one week before, you gave a really good quality liposague.
00:23:34.240 --> 00:23:35.200
Some of vitamin C.
00:23:35.599 --> 00:23:35.680
Right.
00:23:36.160 --> 00:23:36.559
And Dr.
00:23:36.720 --> 00:23:39.119
Don had already EAV tested.
00:23:39.440 --> 00:23:46.960
So I strongly suggest that whatever vitamin C any of your patient is going for, get it EAV tested so that your body is compatible with it.
00:23:47.119 --> 00:23:47.519
That's right.
00:23:47.680 --> 00:23:55.200
Because you know, it might be a different manufacturer, different kind of vitamin C would your body would be more, you know, uh compatible with.
00:23:55.519 --> 00:23:56.640
But in my case, Dr.
00:23:56.799 --> 00:23:58.880
Don had already tested a green signal on it.
00:23:58.960 --> 00:23:59.119
Yeah.
00:23:59.279 --> 00:24:02.400
And I picked up those from uh like a week before the surgery.
00:24:02.480 --> 00:24:11.440
So I took, and it was three gram, and most of the bodies can handle three gram before you get into diarrhea, you know, because all these have to go through the stomach, right?
00:24:11.599 --> 00:24:16.720
But the IV bypasses that, so you could go very high dosage on the IV option.
00:24:16.880 --> 00:24:17.279
That's right.
00:24:17.440 --> 00:24:25.440
And this particular clinic that I went to, and I'm sure any clinic where they they could offer beyond 25 gram, but then they have to do some testing.
00:24:25.680 --> 00:24:26.000
That's right.
00:24:26.079 --> 00:24:27.759
Uh, you know, to say, okay, what is the maximum?
00:24:27.839 --> 00:24:38.880
But in my case, I chose 25 gram is enough because I have been on vitamin C's on and off, on and off regular basis, you know, just for kind of maintenance, you know, health maintenance.
00:24:39.119 --> 00:24:43.440
So I so I went there and I customized, I added a couple other things, like I was mentioning.
00:24:43.519 --> 00:24:46.160
So I said, hey, for bone health, we need minerals.
00:24:46.400 --> 00:24:48.400
So they said, okay, we'll add trace minerals.
00:24:48.799 --> 00:24:50.720
Then I said, I need some aminos.
00:24:50.880 --> 00:24:53.839
They said yes, you know, because you need to bump up your protein intake.
00:24:54.000 --> 00:24:54.319
That's right.
00:24:54.480 --> 00:24:55.519
Even diet-wise.
00:24:55.759 --> 00:24:56.799
So I did that.
00:24:56.960 --> 00:25:05.680
And then there were two couple other things that I added, and and then I was there two hours after the surgery, and the IV was an hour and a half.
00:25:05.839 --> 00:25:07.920
So, in between that time, you and Dr.
00:25:08.000 --> 00:25:09.599
Don had given me homeopathic remedy.
00:25:09.839 --> 00:25:10.160
Remedy.
00:25:10.559 --> 00:25:10.720
Right?
00:25:10.880 --> 00:25:20.079
So I started that right away because remember the rule of thumb you had given me is don't wait until the anesthesia wears off and you are in too much pain.
00:25:20.319 --> 00:25:20.720
That's right.
00:25:20.880 --> 00:25:26.079
So I followed that and I took the first dosage right here before I walked out.
00:25:26.240 --> 00:25:30.160
And it was like every hour you keep doing those drops under sublingual.
00:25:30.720 --> 00:25:33.519
And I'm telling you, that plus the IV.
00:25:33.759 --> 00:25:38.160
So I had no pain sensation by the bedtime on day when.
00:25:38.559 --> 00:25:39.759
So this was Monday, right?
00:25:39.839 --> 00:25:43.279
So Monday by bedtime, no pain, which was unbelievable.
00:25:43.519 --> 00:25:46.079
Because I was I was worried you had double surgery.
00:25:46.319 --> 00:25:47.039
Yes, right?
00:25:47.279 --> 00:25:50.000
So I I was worried that pain would kick in.
00:25:50.079 --> 00:26:08.480
And you had given me, you know, Maya, you know, who helped us through the from your staff, she explained to me, she went over the, you know, like post rider, hey, this is this is for pain, this is homeopathic remedy, this is arnica, and then here's some tea bags in case and gosh, you know, in case bleeding happens and all.
00:26:08.640 --> 00:26:12.240
So a lot of things I didn't end up using for a good reason.
00:26:12.480 --> 00:26:12.799
That's right.
00:26:12.960 --> 00:26:16.480
But the Arnica and the homeopathic remedy and the IV.
00:26:16.559 --> 00:26:18.160
So I'm talking about day of surgery, right?
00:26:18.240 --> 00:26:18.559
That's right.
00:26:18.960 --> 00:26:24.160
So those were the only things I was on, and I need to give credit to your red light therapy lamp.
00:26:24.319 --> 00:26:24.880
Yes.
00:26:25.200 --> 00:26:27.359
Amazing piece of equipment, okay?
00:26:27.680 --> 00:26:45.200
And the and I'm sure that's a pro version, and I don't think anybody can buy that outside because those will be small, you know, kind of I looked uh myself, looked up myself, and those were like the ones that go in, you know, kind of sit in, but you needed more exposure to that's right.
00:26:45.440 --> 00:26:47.119
To the whole gland up lymphatic.
00:26:47.359 --> 00:26:47.599
Correct.
00:26:47.759 --> 00:26:48.160
And that's size.
00:26:48.559 --> 00:26:50.319
Yeah, I I I learned some word from Dr.
00:26:50.480 --> 00:26:52.000
Don, like ganglia, right?
00:26:52.400 --> 00:26:59.680
So all those, so that thing, even if you put it over here, the intensity of that is pretty it covers a lot of area, you know.
00:27:00.319 --> 00:27:04.160
So I did that, I think your instruction said do it three to four times a day.
00:27:04.559 --> 00:27:08.720
So so I did that day of surgery and then next two weeks.
00:27:08.880 --> 00:27:09.119
Okay.
00:27:09.519 --> 00:27:12.480
So this is what uh we were capturing on the day of surgery.
00:27:12.640 --> 00:27:14.960
So then by bedtime, there was no pain.
00:27:15.200 --> 00:27:18.240
And here's the unbelievable part swelling, right?
00:27:18.400 --> 00:27:24.640
Usually you would expect every surgery would have no matter what part of the body you you had surgery on.
00:27:24.720 --> 00:27:28.720
And with the dental, okay, because I had a history of maxillofacial jaw surgery also.
00:27:28.960 --> 00:27:29.519
That's right, you did.
00:27:29.680 --> 00:27:30.640
And it was intense.
00:27:32.480 --> 00:27:46.640
So, but if I knew all these tools back in 20, you know, I mean the time when I did those, so you could use those red light, the post-IVs and all that, and and have a better healing experience, you know.
00:27:47.279 --> 00:27:52.799
But all the conventional side didn't tell me anything back then, but anyways, that's past time.
00:27:53.039 --> 00:27:59.920
So on the next day when I woke up, so I followed all that, but I didn't introduce any other detox supplements yet.
00:28:00.240 --> 00:28:06.160
Because you want to focus on healing, you want to divert that energy, your body energy, into the healing.
00:28:07.200 --> 00:28:10.960
Because first three to five days are crucial, and you and Dr.
00:28:11.119 --> 00:28:19.039
Don made it clear to me during surgery as well as in a kind of a pre-op discussion, you know, take time off from work.
00:28:19.839 --> 00:28:20.160
Okay.
00:28:20.799 --> 00:28:25.039
That is key because you want to give that chance to your body to heal.
00:28:25.920 --> 00:28:29.920
Because I call that acute healing phase, you know, that three to five days window.
00:28:30.079 --> 00:28:31.839
After that, you're all clear, right?
00:28:32.319 --> 00:28:40.480
And then, you know, you pay attention to the nutrient-dense foods that you're eating post-surger because you won't be able to chew and bite.
00:28:40.559 --> 00:29:00.319
So you had asked me to stock up on some kind of bone broth, nutrient, nutrient, focus on nutrient-dense food, you know, bone broth, some really good antioxidants-rich smoothies, and then soups, you know, whether you're a vegetarian or meat eater, so load up on, you know, because it doesn't matter which way you choose, you're still giving nutrients, you know, to your body.
00:29:00.400 --> 00:29:01.920
And at that time, they need it.
00:29:02.079 --> 00:29:10.960
And then I still added so this on the day of surgery because vitamin C, I mean, the cocktail, Ivy cocktail had already given a big boost, right?
00:29:11.119 --> 00:29:13.839
So I didn't want to give other oral supplements that day.
00:29:13.920 --> 00:29:19.119
So I took a break and I was only doing the homeopathic remedy and then Arnica for two days.
00:29:19.680 --> 00:29:24.000
And next day, I thought that, hey, there not much visible swelling.
00:29:24.079 --> 00:29:25.759
There was very minor on day one.
00:29:25.839 --> 00:29:28.799
And it was gone by the bedtime on day one itself, right?
00:29:29.039 --> 00:29:40.000
And then next morning I woke up, I had minor one on the left side, and then I realized, like, okay, what probably I missed, and I forgot to have my head elevated a little bit.
00:29:40.240 --> 00:29:40.480
Okay.
00:29:41.039 --> 00:29:52.240
And so that will be a lesson learned that if you don't want any swelling, make sure you have your head raised on the night, the first night post-surgery, then you won't even have swelling.
00:29:52.319 --> 00:29:57.200
If you didn't have any swelling on day one, then there should not be any reason for it to come back on day two.
00:29:57.680 --> 00:30:08.480
And then I continued all that, and then right from day two onwards, so even with these foods and not solid foods, I was like, there's these systemic effects which are starting to show up, right?
00:30:08.640 --> 00:30:22.160
So the first night, usually I take liposomal melatonin to kind of, you know, help with the sleep because all of us with full-time jobs, your mind is always wrestling with thoughts about next day and all.
00:30:22.319 --> 00:30:29.119
And, you know, so you have two categories of people, one having hard time to fall asleep, or second is staying asleep.
00:30:29.440 --> 00:30:29.839
Staying asleep.
00:30:30.000 --> 00:30:30.079
Right?
00:30:30.240 --> 00:30:30.319
Yeah.
00:30:30.480 --> 00:30:38.319
So I used to be on the category hard time falling asleep, and liposomal melatonin used to be, and I knew the root cause was just mind racing with thoughts and all.
00:30:38.480 --> 00:30:47.119
So liposomal melatonin was was my hey, just whatever dosage your body likes, you know, liposomal gets you that you can raise it up or lower it down.
00:30:47.359 --> 00:30:57.279
But post-surgery, I did not use any melatonin for, and I was like, hey, I've taken off from work, so it's fine if I get to sleep a little late, you know.
00:30:57.680 --> 00:31:02.720
So I took the chance, and the good thing was my body did not require any melatonin.
00:31:02.960 --> 00:31:06.880
So these things even had a positive effect on the sleep quality.
00:31:08.000 --> 00:31:08.240
You know?
00:31:08.559 --> 00:31:17.759
So I slept like a baby post-surgery, you know, all entire week before I returned to work, and then I said, okay, maybe I need to go back on the melatonin, you know.
00:31:17.839 --> 00:31:18.000
Yeah.
00:31:18.240 --> 00:31:27.359
But even if I would have skipped it, my right, right like two hours post-dinner, I'm already getting that melatonin flush kind of naturally in the body.
00:31:27.519 --> 00:31:28.240
I could tell that.
00:31:28.559 --> 00:31:30.319
But I was still like, hey, let's just use it.
00:31:30.480 --> 00:31:32.880
Okay, so it's a sleep and then the energy level.
00:31:33.200 --> 00:31:33.839
Energy level.
00:31:34.000 --> 00:31:34.240
Okay.
00:31:34.880 --> 00:31:37.519
And then third thing I want to say is brain fog.
00:31:37.839 --> 00:31:41.119
So brain fog just cleared, like you had a clear mind.
00:31:41.279 --> 00:31:41.519
Yeah.
00:31:41.680 --> 00:31:41.920
Right?
00:31:42.000 --> 00:31:48.640
Because just think about it, all these things sitting here for 15 years in my case were having some effect, right?
00:31:48.799 --> 00:31:50.559
How far they are away from right.
00:31:50.799 --> 00:31:51.279
Two inches.
00:31:51.440 --> 00:31:51.599
Yeah.
00:31:51.759 --> 00:31:59.359
So that had an effect because, like I said, that I had ruled out all these other pathogenic options, you know, working with the functional doctors.
00:31:59.519 --> 00:32:01.599
And it was like there's nothing else there, right?
00:32:01.759 --> 00:32:03.200
So, but this had that connection.
00:32:03.359 --> 00:32:09.119
Sinuses definitely had the connection for brain fog and all, but dental also played in a role.
00:32:09.359 --> 00:32:17.279
So now that, so if we go back to if we cleared that, cleared this, so now your body was like, okay, now I know what to do with the energy, right?
00:32:17.359 --> 00:32:22.000
So you had extra energy to put into repair healing, right?
00:32:22.079 --> 00:32:27.279
So that was the experience I was feeling throughout those three to five days acute healing phase.
00:32:27.519 --> 00:32:40.960
Okay, and then another thing I was always on was digestive enzymes, okay, and then some kind of a stomach acid support, which is betain SCL or some kind of digestive barrels, right?
00:32:41.039 --> 00:32:44.799
Some people, not everybody can do both because that will be an overkill.
00:32:44.880 --> 00:32:49.279
So you either go digestive bitters or you go digestive, I mean yeah, Btane SCL.
00:32:49.839 --> 00:32:54.240
And because as we age, your stomach acid production goes down.
00:32:54.799 --> 00:32:58.160
So it's wise to kind of start supporting that before it's too late.
00:32:58.240 --> 00:33:05.039
Because you know, on the conventional side, most everybody is thinking with acid reflux, it means acid is very high.
00:33:05.440 --> 00:33:06.799
And it's the actually the opposite.
00:33:06.960 --> 00:33:07.359
The opposite.
00:33:07.519 --> 00:33:09.599
It's the low stomach acid which causes all that.
00:33:09.839 --> 00:33:10.160
That's right.
00:33:10.319 --> 00:33:12.160
But anyways, that will be that will be another topic.
00:33:12.400 --> 00:33:18.480
But for for the what I'm mentioning, about to mention is I didn't have a need for digestive enzymes.
00:33:18.799 --> 00:33:22.400
I didn't have a need for the BJ and SCL or bears.
00:33:22.880 --> 00:33:26.720
Okay, so these things were impacting the small intestinal health.
00:33:27.279 --> 00:33:27.519
Okay.
00:33:28.160 --> 00:33:33.440
Because without those, the digestion process were dependent on that, these pathogens.
00:33:33.599 --> 00:33:43.039
And you took beautiful samples and you showed it to me during the surgery that, hey, look, I think you had like a glass light on which you showed me, and maybe you can explain, you know.
00:33:43.200 --> 00:33:43.440
Yeah.
00:33:43.680 --> 00:33:44.000
Right?
00:33:44.400 --> 00:33:44.559
Yeah.
00:33:44.960 --> 00:33:50.400
So those things, I mean, just by the look, I could tell the report is gonna come back ugly.
00:33:50.640 --> 00:33:50.880
Yeah.
00:33:51.039 --> 00:33:52.559
It was not supposed to be there.
00:33:52.799 --> 00:33:53.039
Right?
00:33:53.200 --> 00:33:53.440
Yeah.
00:33:53.599 --> 00:33:53.839
Yeah.
00:33:54.079 --> 00:33:57.039
You know, so your body has all these layers of defenses, right?
00:33:57.200 --> 00:34:00.400
Like we say, stomach acid, and then you have bile.
00:34:00.559 --> 00:34:03.359
So two layers of protection for all these pathogens to go past.
00:34:03.440 --> 00:34:08.960
But if you have low stomach acid and your bile issue, these things immediately they run right through, right?
00:34:09.039 --> 00:34:09.119
Yeah.
00:34:09.280 --> 00:34:11.679
And that is usually most of the people are impacted with.
00:34:12.159 --> 00:34:16.320
But these things don't need to, they can go through the nerves, right?
00:34:16.800 --> 00:34:23.119
So do they end up and you have, depending on whichever site you have that extraction, this based on the meridian chart.
00:34:23.199 --> 00:34:26.239
Yeah, that's whoever did that is really an incredible piece of work.
00:34:26.719 --> 00:34:26.960
That's right.
00:34:27.039 --> 00:34:32.960
It's a really long-term study proven in both the Eastern and Western medicine.
00:34:33.119 --> 00:34:33.280
Oh.
00:34:33.599 --> 00:34:36.320
So yeah, it's called acupuncture according to Volt.
00:34:36.639 --> 00:34:38.639
This is a German doctor and scientist.
00:34:38.880 --> 00:34:43.039
But also when you look at the acupuncture meridian, it's also showing the same thing.
00:34:43.199 --> 00:34:45.360
So the sign was there for thousands of years.
00:34:45.840 --> 00:34:51.840
Just that to implement it correctly and to understand the connection, and next would be what action to take.
00:34:52.320 --> 00:34:58.719
I mean, what you just mentioned, the energy, the brain fog, the sleep, the GI issue.
00:34:58.880 --> 00:34:59.039
Right.
00:34:59.280 --> 00:35:02.960
You know how many patients walk in here or like going to see functional?
00:35:03.039 --> 00:35:04.559
And that exactly on their list.
00:35:04.719 --> 00:35:05.039
Yes, yes.
00:35:05.360 --> 00:35:09.440
I have foggy brain, I'm fatigued, I can't sleep, my gut not well.
00:35:09.679 --> 00:35:09.840
Right.
00:35:10.079 --> 00:35:10.400
Exactly.
00:35:10.719 --> 00:35:17.519
And and nobody would have a clue that dental health could be playing the role in all these systemic issues, right?
00:35:17.920 --> 00:35:21.440
And you know, they there was a term that they coined was adrenal fatigue.
00:35:22.880 --> 00:35:25.280
It's more like a bucket diagnosis to a lot of people.
00:35:25.679 --> 00:35:26.400
Exactly, exactly.
00:35:26.559 --> 00:35:35.039
And now now, you know, I'm glad that it's most of the practitioners, both functional as well as on the conventional side, are saying we don't no longer recognize that term.
00:35:35.440 --> 00:35:37.360
Because, like you just for the reason you said.
00:35:37.599 --> 00:35:57.039
So, yeah, so so the gut health, significant improvement there, because even with digestive enchines and B10 SCL, everybody had that natural tendencies because those things are not that broad spectrum that depending on, hey, if you're traveling and my work always had the travel component in it.
00:35:57.119 --> 00:36:04.960
So I could be international, you know, various parts of the world, and your food change, your water changes, your air quality.
00:36:05.119 --> 00:36:06.960
So remember those food, air, water.
00:36:07.199 --> 00:36:11.199
So the moment those change, you know, there is a field of epigenetics, right?
00:36:11.280 --> 00:36:14.800
So your body, so you have your gut is where the symptoms come first.
00:36:14.960 --> 00:36:15.199
Yes.
00:36:15.360 --> 00:36:21.280
So so I used to have that tendency of bloating post, you know, and occasional flatulence.
00:36:21.760 --> 00:36:27.599
And after this surgery, I think I mentioned to you when I came to see you two weeks later on my follow-up.
00:36:27.679 --> 00:36:30.559
Yeah, like my tummy has been the flattest ever.
00:36:30.800 --> 00:36:31.119
Okay?
00:36:31.440 --> 00:36:33.360
A lot of patients, that alone would be enough.
00:36:34.000 --> 00:36:34.159
Right.
00:36:34.480 --> 00:36:37.360
Okay, that that that was worth the cost for the surgery.
00:36:37.840 --> 00:36:38.159
That's right.
00:36:38.480 --> 00:36:42.719
And um, so the gut health, I would say that that's where the major significance.
00:36:43.039 --> 00:36:50.320
I mean, the other things that I pay, hey, everybody ought to be able to sleep well because that's when your body goes into repair mode.
00:36:50.480 --> 00:36:50.639
Yeah.
00:36:50.800 --> 00:36:58.079
And if you think about it, if if you're just, hey, four hours a night, three hours a night, and all, you just keep on kicking that can down the road.
00:36:58.320 --> 00:36:58.719
That's right.
00:36:58.800 --> 00:36:59.039
Yeah.
00:36:59.199 --> 00:37:02.239
Your repair is just being tap into reserve more and more.
00:37:02.800 --> 00:37:03.039
Exactly.
00:37:03.119 --> 00:37:05.599
So just, I mean, you can take example of your car, right?
00:37:05.760 --> 00:37:12.800
Symptoms start up, you just like, hey, that's fine, we'll ignore it, and then you have a big mechanical breakdown, and then the mechanic gives you a big check.
00:37:13.360 --> 00:37:14.480
Or maybe total the car.
00:37:14.880 --> 00:37:15.039
Yeah.
00:37:15.440 --> 00:37:17.199
So same thing is on the body, right?
00:37:17.280 --> 00:37:23.519
Our bodies are very smart, they give you symptoms, but then it ups to you whether you mask them or you look for the root cause.
00:37:24.239 --> 00:37:25.440
And you're always the root cause, guys.
00:37:25.599 --> 00:37:27.119
And I'm always the latter option, you know?
00:37:27.199 --> 00:37:27.360
Yeah.
00:37:27.599 --> 00:37:30.880
So the small intestinal, I mean the gut, overall gut health improvement.
00:37:30.960 --> 00:37:33.280
And then another thing, bowel movements.
00:37:33.679 --> 00:37:34.000
Okay?
00:37:34.800 --> 00:37:40.559
Constipation, because these microbes play a big role in your what do you call colon health, right?
00:37:40.719 --> 00:37:41.039
That's right.
00:37:41.519 --> 00:37:47.360
So remember, like I was telling you, that all these toxins, you have those four pathways to excrete.
00:37:47.599 --> 00:37:52.559
And if you are constipated, just imagine these get recirculated then.
00:37:54.239 --> 00:37:54.480
Yeah.
00:37:54.559 --> 00:37:58.000
So bile is very expensive for our body to produce.
00:37:58.400 --> 00:38:06.639
So it's and that's where you bring in binders to bind toxins from it, because your body has a natural tendency to kind of put it back in recirculation, right?
00:38:07.039 --> 00:38:12.320
So that's your chance to pick all those toxins from getting into recirculation and excrete.
00:38:12.480 --> 00:38:16.320
But if you're constipated, then the binders are not doing much, right?
00:38:16.480 --> 00:38:21.760
So, rule number one for any detox, all functional practitioners you know say the same thing these days.
00:38:22.000 --> 00:38:23.039
No constipation.
00:38:23.199 --> 00:38:23.599
That's right.
00:38:23.760 --> 00:38:29.679
So I will I'll suggest every patient, and no matter what surgery, but today's focus is on cavitation.
00:38:29.840 --> 00:38:35.840
So post those five days, post-surgery, which is your acute healing phase, no constipation allowed.
00:38:36.079 --> 00:38:38.079
Because you have the reports now.
00:38:38.400 --> 00:38:43.119
So you can tell that all those things had to be excreted from your body.
00:38:43.199 --> 00:38:50.480
Because the moment you open those up and you clean them out, but they get flushed into the body internally, right?
00:38:50.960 --> 00:38:53.840
And the reports are reflective of the scale.
00:38:54.320 --> 00:39:01.039
I think if I remember where you said the lab that you sent to, they had like anything above nine was great risk, right?
00:39:01.360 --> 00:39:02.320
Yeah, huge risk.
00:39:02.480 --> 00:39:04.239
And there were a lot of those.
00:39:05.360 --> 00:39:05.440
Right?
00:39:05.519 --> 00:39:06.159
A lot of reds.
00:39:06.400 --> 00:39:08.079
I mean, it's some somewhere off the chart.
00:39:08.639 --> 00:39:10.639
It's a PCR test also, so very accurate.
00:39:10.960 --> 00:39:11.760
Very accurate, right?
00:39:11.920 --> 00:39:12.079
Yeah.
00:39:12.159 --> 00:39:19.679
So I love the fact that you're connected with that lab and you have to test what you extracted or excavated or removed.
00:39:19.760 --> 00:39:19.920
Yeah.
00:39:20.239 --> 00:39:26.000
So patient also know what was there and what would possibly need to be detoxed out.
00:39:26.239 --> 00:39:26.559
Correct.
00:39:26.719 --> 00:39:26.880
Yeah.
00:39:27.199 --> 00:39:41.519
Another thing, so when I walked out of here, I think I I don't know if I mentioned, so you know, when those toxins are immediately get kind of released from 15 years of holdup, your body knows what's foreign, what's needs to be there, right?
00:39:41.599 --> 00:39:46.000
So those toxins, so my kidneys were already on overdrive for the three, four hours.
00:39:46.159 --> 00:39:55.360
So between leaving your clinic to IV and then post-IV, and the IV guys are told me that, hey, you're gonna be peeing a lot later later in the evening.
00:39:55.440 --> 00:39:57.760
Yeah, I was like, man, my thing already started.
00:39:57.840 --> 00:39:58.079
Yeah.
00:39:58.320 --> 00:40:10.559
So basically, your kidneys were already trying to like, hey, you know, both combination, all those pathogens plus whatever, whatever else was kind of, you know, all the junk which was hidden there.
00:40:10.880 --> 00:40:14.639
So so that's why the key part is the preparatory phase.
00:40:14.880 --> 00:40:17.760
Because the reason I was able to have that good experience.
00:40:18.079 --> 00:40:19.119
Because you opened all the channels.
00:40:21.039 --> 00:40:21.119
Yes.
00:40:21.519 --> 00:40:24.400
Colon, the kidney in the liver, and the cell level.
00:40:24.480 --> 00:40:26.159
So therefore you don't have anything hold up.
00:40:26.559 --> 00:40:31.119
And I used to do sauna, you know, a couple of sessions every week.
00:40:31.360 --> 00:40:39.920
I didn't do any the week of the surgery because the reason is you wanted to make those vital reserves of your body focused towards healing.
00:40:40.079 --> 00:40:40.480
That's right.
00:40:40.639 --> 00:40:43.440
You know, but I went back to that schedule one week later.
00:40:43.679 --> 00:40:44.239
After, yeah.
00:40:44.400 --> 00:40:50.079
You know, because at that time I was like, I don't want to be dealing with any more detox than the body is already going through.
00:40:50.639 --> 00:40:51.519
And you and Dr.
00:40:51.679 --> 00:40:55.840
Dawn had already given me a homeopathic remedy, which is customized to you.
00:40:55.920 --> 00:40:56.079
Yeah.
00:40:56.239 --> 00:40:56.400
Right?
00:40:56.559 --> 00:40:57.519
So when I saw Dr.
00:40:57.679 --> 00:41:02.400
Dawn post-surgery, I mean the in, I think on the follow-up, you know, uh appointment.
00:41:02.559 --> 00:41:05.840
And before she says that to me, I told her that, Dr.
00:41:06.000 --> 00:41:13.679
Dawn, I have a feeling that that homeopathic remedy was doing a lot of detox also, yes, localized detox.
00:41:13.840 --> 00:41:14.000
Yes.
00:41:14.159 --> 00:41:15.519
She said, How do you know?
00:41:15.840 --> 00:41:23.840
I said, My body felt that because I didn't put on my other binders, which are not localized, they are systemic, they clean up everywhere.
00:41:23.920 --> 00:41:28.480
They go from they even cross the blood brain barrier and pick up toxins from there.
00:41:28.639 --> 00:41:36.559
So I was prepared to launch them, but I was waiting for the time really when my body is giving me the sign that hey, I'm ready to, you know, take them.
00:41:36.719 --> 00:41:42.480
But then I was like, so without those my other binders, it has to be your remedy doing some magic, right?
00:41:42.559 --> 00:41:42.719
Yeah.
00:41:42.960 --> 00:41:45.119
She was like, Yes, it does that.
00:41:45.360 --> 00:41:46.880
So even she was kind of, you know.
00:41:47.280 --> 00:41:52.400
You have a very gifted, I would say, none understand what your body like, you're very into it.
00:41:52.559 --> 00:41:53.360
Internal, yeah, yeah.
00:41:53.679 --> 00:42:00.000
Because a lot of patients, they don't have that gift or they're not tune in enough to notice that's what the body experienced.
00:42:00.159 --> 00:42:01.519
They don't connect the dot.
00:42:01.920 --> 00:42:06.400
Like when you're in the chair, when you're holding her hand and you're like, I feel like the energy connected.
00:42:07.039 --> 00:42:12.320
To me, so many patients told us that in a chair, and we actually have people must have crying.
00:42:12.480 --> 00:42:13.760
Like, we're like, whoa, what happened?
00:42:14.559 --> 00:42:15.840
Yeah, emotional release.
00:42:16.239 --> 00:42:18.159
So for you, it's an energy reconnected.
00:42:18.639 --> 00:42:24.480
For some mothers, we experience in a chair that they're just crying, regardless, male or female patient.
00:42:24.880 --> 00:42:26.400
And we're asking, is it pain?
00:42:26.480 --> 00:42:27.599
They're like, no, no pain.
00:42:27.760 --> 00:42:30.000
But some of them, I just could not hold this back.
00:42:30.480 --> 00:42:40.000
And to us, it's it could be emotional associated with that, some patient they remember vividly what happened to that toot or that sight when they went through that procedure.
00:42:40.159 --> 00:42:51.519
Like, oh yeah, I was pregnant with my child and have an emergency, my toot hurting, or someone say, Yeah, I'm having a bicycle accident and I got that toot knocked out, and they get ended up with the rucker now, and now I'm having an infection.
00:42:51.679 --> 00:42:53.760
So it's almost like tied with the trauma.
00:42:54.000 --> 00:42:54.239
For sure.
00:42:54.559 --> 00:43:04.400
It could be emotional, it could be physical, but when you get see that release, be honest with you, early on in my career as a biological dentist, I'm a bit more like, what is going on?
00:43:04.559 --> 00:43:07.840
Like, because I'm not the person experienced it, I'm the person that witnessed it.
00:43:07.920 --> 00:43:08.000
Right.
00:43:08.400 --> 00:43:11.920
But the person experienced the patients, and it's amazing what they're doing.
00:43:12.000 --> 00:43:23.920
No, I'm sure, you know, because you have that surgery day every week and you're doing it on multiple patients in a day, I can totally understand everybody has their own personal way of expressing what they felt, right?
00:43:24.000 --> 00:43:24.159
Yeah.
00:43:24.480 --> 00:43:26.159
And I'm sure it's all positive.
00:43:26.480 --> 00:43:37.119
Because you're you're you're playing a really uh key role for their health by taking all that infected jawbone out and then cleaning up that side with all those tools.
00:43:37.599 --> 00:43:41.760
Because, like I said, that no binders can go in there and clean up that, you know.
00:43:42.159 --> 00:43:44.559
Not through those layer of bones and yeah.
00:43:44.639 --> 00:43:53.360
And just that you remind a lot of our audience and listener when you're healing from the order, it had to be from the top down and from inside out.
00:43:53.599 --> 00:43:53.840
Yes.
00:43:54.000 --> 00:43:54.079
Right?
00:43:54.239 --> 00:43:54.400
Yes.
00:43:54.719 --> 00:43:56.480
Skin problem is a gut problem.
00:43:57.039 --> 00:43:59.679
And so So for me, I never used any.
00:44:00.159 --> 00:44:07.840
Any lotions, creams, anything on my skin, because I always believed in it is your internal, you know, internal cleansing.
00:44:08.000 --> 00:44:08.400
That's right.
00:44:08.559 --> 00:44:11.679
Rather than external, you know, layers of natural glowing.
00:44:12.079 --> 00:44:12.559
Yeah, yeah.
00:44:12.960 --> 00:44:19.119
So but then what happened was with all these unlucky exposures, you know, from environmental.
00:44:19.440 --> 00:44:25.280
Environmental, like, you know, go back to the air, water, and food, those started impacting skin health as well.
00:44:25.760 --> 00:44:25.920
Of course.
00:44:26.480 --> 00:44:29.599
And I think you were the one who noticed my skin glowing.
00:44:29.920 --> 00:44:32.079
You know, post post to the in during the follow-up.
00:44:32.320 --> 00:44:36.960
So that was that was something that I didn't notice myself because I was more focused on the other.
00:44:37.280 --> 00:44:39.119
How's your gut not constipated?
00:44:39.280 --> 00:44:40.800
How's it not being bloated?
00:44:41.280 --> 00:44:42.800
And that actually shows on your skin.
00:44:43.119 --> 00:44:43.920
Yes, yeah, yeah.
00:44:44.239 --> 00:44:47.599
Yeah, because I mean your colon health, it plays a big role.
00:44:47.760 --> 00:44:47.920
Yeah.
00:44:48.159 --> 00:44:50.800
Because that is your last step for excess.
00:44:51.039 --> 00:44:58.960
So you know, so you have water-soluble toxins which go through the filter through the kidneys and out the urine, and then you have the others which go through the stool.
00:44:59.199 --> 00:44:59.440
That's right.
00:44:59.599 --> 00:45:00.960
So your liver decides which way.
00:45:01.280 --> 00:45:02.320
Which pathway to take, yeah.
00:45:02.639 --> 00:45:13.679
And and if you have your colon health in excellent shape, meaning they say that, hey, how many times you should go, you know, how many bowel movements a day, they say the number of meals is good.
00:45:13.760 --> 00:45:18.079
So, but if you tell somebody three bowel movements, they will say, Oh, maybe it's a diarrhea, right?
00:45:18.559 --> 00:45:21.920
But I'm talking about normal bowel movements.
00:45:22.159 --> 00:45:22.559
Normal stool.
00:45:22.880 --> 00:45:24.400
So if you if you can get three, awesome.
00:45:24.559 --> 00:45:25.280
But that's what people are.
00:45:25.440 --> 00:45:27.760
But one to two, one to two, yeah, for sure.
00:45:28.159 --> 00:45:30.159
My daughter, she's 18 months old, right?
00:45:30.320 --> 00:45:32.559
Every time she eats, that's when she passed.
00:45:32.639 --> 00:45:32.800
Right.
00:45:32.960 --> 00:45:34.880
And we're thinking, oh, that's only a baby.
00:45:35.039 --> 00:45:36.320
But no, that's how everyone is.
00:45:37.840 --> 00:45:40.639
See, over time, yeah, we tend to forget that.
00:45:40.800 --> 00:45:41.440
Which is hold up.
00:45:41.840 --> 00:45:42.639
We tend to forget that.
00:45:42.800 --> 00:45:44.559
And you're like, one a day is enough.
00:45:44.719 --> 00:45:47.840
And then it's like, oh, one every other day is probably still okay, right?
00:45:48.079 --> 00:45:49.360
Americans are very constipated.
00:45:49.440 --> 00:45:50.159
Oh, you know that.
00:45:50.400 --> 00:45:50.960
I can tell you.
00:45:51.280 --> 00:46:00.000
And then and then everybody is has that habit of using coffee or any keft as a way to kind of use that to get that, you know, bowel moment first thing in the morning.
00:46:00.159 --> 00:46:01.199
But I'll tell you.
00:46:01.360 --> 00:46:10.239
So when I came to US, I got into the habit of black coffee, but very quickly I realized that black coffee was giving me acid reflux issues.
00:46:10.480 --> 00:46:12.719
So, like root cause thinking for me.
00:46:12.880 --> 00:46:20.639
So I I have that investigative mind, you know, it's like, okay, I've seen doctors and all, but there are some things I can do even myself at home.
00:46:20.800 --> 00:46:21.760
Okay, what is it?
00:46:21.840 --> 00:46:24.400
Is it so I always put it those three categories?
00:46:24.480 --> 00:46:26.880
It has to be either food or toxins or pathogens.
00:46:27.199 --> 00:46:28.800
So I can't do the toxin and the pathogen.
00:46:29.039 --> 00:46:30.719
There's something in diet really quickly, right?
00:46:30.880 --> 00:46:32.880
Okay, what did I just start it?
00:46:33.039 --> 00:46:37.840
When this happened, go back in time and say, okay, maybe that might trigger it.
00:46:37.920 --> 00:46:41.920
And then you go off that particular eliminate it, right?
00:46:42.000 --> 00:46:49.760
Like in the functional world, they say elimination diet, which is like free of cost at your home, or you can pay the money and get your food sensitivity test.
00:46:50.079 --> 00:46:59.280
Uh so yeah, so that's when I was like, okay, so I'm talking about without any caffeine intake, still able to get one to two bowel movements daily.
00:46:59.360 --> 00:47:06.880
So, which tells me that is your body doesn't really need caffeine support to get you there as long as your colon health is optimal.
00:47:07.199 --> 00:47:07.599
That's right.
00:47:07.760 --> 00:47:08.079
Yeah.
00:47:08.400 --> 00:47:17.360
And so share with the listener a bit about how passionate you are about this, that you actually take the next step to learn to be a functional provider.
00:47:17.679 --> 00:47:18.400
Right, right.
00:47:18.639 --> 00:47:24.239
So going through my own health challenges, and I always had this investigative mind.
00:47:24.719 --> 00:47:38.159
And going through my own journey, because I kind of gave up on the conventional side back in 2015 after seeing every specialist head to toe, and I was like, okay, so the functional guys gave me, gave me that, let's say, the healing options.
00:47:38.320 --> 00:47:41.760
I said, okay, maybe this is the field I need to focus more on.
00:47:41.920 --> 00:47:47.199
And and then I started listening to all, you know, summits.
00:47:47.360 --> 00:47:53.679
So I would sign up for summits and do a lot of readings online or books, wherever recommended readings show up.
00:47:53.920 --> 00:47:55.679
Then I got this call.
00:47:56.079 --> 00:47:56.719
Downloading.
00:47:56.960 --> 00:47:58.400
Yeah, downloading, right?
00:47:58.880 --> 00:48:05.360
Hey, you know, there are a lot of people around the world who are probably going through similar experiences.
00:48:05.840 --> 00:48:16.880
And if I can get the training required and be able to help others, you know, and save them from doing a lot of the same mistakes that I made.
00:48:16.960 --> 00:48:23.119
Yeah, you know, like, hey, keep banging the door on the conventional side several times and expect the same results, you know.
00:48:23.280 --> 00:48:34.239
So another thing is, you know, the interest and then the own journey, combination of two, and then when the call came in, I was like, okay, because the dental part was kind of the last step.
00:48:34.639 --> 00:48:39.840
So now, so I I started my training, yeah, and I'm kind of 60% uh there.
00:48:40.000 --> 00:48:40.320
Yeah.
00:48:40.559 --> 00:48:45.760
And uh, so if everything goes well, I'll be certified, you know, either late this year or early next year.
00:48:45.920 --> 00:48:46.639
That's awesome.
00:48:46.800 --> 00:48:51.760
But but my mantra is gonna be so you know on the functional side they say gut health first, right?
00:48:52.239 --> 00:48:59.039
But my mantra is gonna be environment first, sinuses, dental, and then we go to gut.
00:48:59.199 --> 00:48:59.519
That's it.
00:48:59.599 --> 00:49:01.599
So basically, what you said, top down.
00:49:01.760 --> 00:49:02.480
Top down, right?
00:49:02.639 --> 00:49:09.519
Yeah because yeah, gut health is important, but if you start directly from the gut, you're not tackling the root cause.
00:49:09.679 --> 00:49:09.920
No.
00:49:10.159 --> 00:49:10.480
Okay.
00:49:11.039 --> 00:49:16.320
And you're gonna get back into those symptoms back again as you come off that particular protocol.
00:49:16.400 --> 00:49:18.480
The protocol might be the best in the world design.
00:49:19.519 --> 00:49:22.159
So it's nothing to blame on the protocol, but it's the sequence.
00:49:22.400 --> 00:49:23.280
The sequence, you know?
00:49:23.360 --> 00:49:24.159
Yeah, the order.
00:49:24.400 --> 00:49:25.519
The order that you go through.
00:49:25.599 --> 00:49:29.760
So that's why environmental play, because that's where you're sniffing in all kinds of toxins.
00:49:30.079 --> 00:49:32.239
So you make sure you have that taken care of.
00:49:32.400 --> 00:49:35.199
And then even on the living side, right?
00:49:35.440 --> 00:49:38.079
I mean, the food, like I said, is is easier to tackle.
00:49:38.639 --> 00:49:39.199
Water.
00:49:39.440 --> 00:49:40.800
Water plays a key role, right?
00:49:40.960 --> 00:49:41.760
Hydration.
00:49:42.000 --> 00:49:51.280
So for the and for the water side, you know, everybody has the RO systems, hopefully a bare minimum, but RO it depletes all minerals.
00:49:51.760 --> 00:49:53.519
So then your body suffers.
00:49:53.599 --> 00:49:59.920
So then it's so what do you do is now they they have those setups where you demineralize and then drink that water, you know.
00:50:00.079 --> 00:50:01.840
So spring water at a minimum.
00:50:02.320 --> 00:50:08.559
And if you have RO water, then add some minerals to it to replete what has been depleted and use that.
00:50:08.639 --> 00:50:15.599
So yeah, so basically, my own journey throughout these uh, let's say, close to nine years.
00:50:15.840 --> 00:50:16.400
Nine years.
00:50:16.639 --> 00:50:16.800
Right?
00:50:16.960 --> 00:50:21.119
And then my interest into with the investigative mind, like and then you're calling.
00:50:21.599 --> 00:50:24.960
Always, always being into like, hey, there has to be a root cause.
00:50:25.199 --> 00:50:31.280
I mean, and then another part is, you know, a lot of people will say that most of the time you're not able to find the root cause.
00:50:31.440 --> 00:50:46.159
So my approach was that's fine, you know, if the lab testing is not there, which can pick it up, at least you go through that order and you're ruling out one at a time that hey, maybe it was parasites, maybe it was bacteria, maybe it was fungus, retroviruses, any other.
00:50:46.480 --> 00:50:47.360
Maybe it's cavitation.
00:50:47.679 --> 00:50:47.920
Yes.
00:50:48.079 --> 00:50:57.440
And then in the end, you know, it's like, okay, so dental health, and now it's like, okay, we checked every single box and everything got cleared out of the body.
00:50:57.679 --> 00:51:01.440
But here's the part, you know, so detox is an ongoing journey.
00:51:01.679 --> 00:51:02.719
It is an ongoing journey.
00:51:02.960 --> 00:51:10.480
You know, so gone is the time where you would say that, hey, do those e talk 30-day protocol once a year, it kind of detoxes.
00:51:10.719 --> 00:51:11.360
It's a lifestyle.
00:51:11.440 --> 00:51:12.639
It's a lifestyle.
00:51:12.880 --> 00:51:13.760
I 100% agree.
00:51:14.239 --> 00:51:20.079
So you have to, because every day we are exposed to so many toxins every single day.
00:51:20.239 --> 00:51:23.679
Now it's a lot of practitioners start calling toxic world, you know?
00:51:23.760 --> 00:51:24.079
Yeah.
00:51:24.320 --> 00:51:30.639
And your organ systems were not built or designed for this kind of environment, right?
00:51:31.119 --> 00:51:33.199
We're not involved in that order yet, right?
00:51:33.280 --> 00:51:33.440
Right.
00:51:33.840 --> 00:51:33.920
Right.
00:51:34.159 --> 00:51:44.880
So based on that, you know, so I'm of the opinion that it's an ongoing journey, stick to it, because 30 days once a year is not good enough, you know, to be able to get back in that health.
00:51:45.199 --> 00:51:46.159
And healing takes time.
00:51:46.400 --> 00:51:46.719
It takes time.
00:51:46.960 --> 00:51:48.480
It takes time for you to figure it out.
00:51:48.559 --> 00:51:57.039
But now you learn the sequence, you learn from the experience, the protocol pre-during, post, right, and you're ready to help others.
00:51:57.280 --> 00:51:57.599
Yes.
00:51:57.760 --> 00:51:59.199
Yes, that's awesome.
00:51:59.519 --> 00:52:08.639
And uh, yeah, so I'm looking forward to that, getting certified and then being able to put everybody in the right order of the sequence to go through.
00:52:08.719 --> 00:52:12.719
So that way you're not having to redo a lot of things set back again, you know.
00:52:13.039 --> 00:52:18.320
I noticed a lot of um wellness holistic providers have their own healing journey.
00:52:18.639 --> 00:52:20.960
And that's all either them or their loved one, right?
00:52:21.039 --> 00:52:23.440
Their kid or their spouse or their parents.
00:52:23.840 --> 00:52:33.679
Someone in your life, including yourself, is that person has to go through the suffering for you to come on the other side and say, okay, now I'm can help other people so they don't suffer anymore.
00:52:33.760 --> 00:52:33.920
Yeah.
00:52:34.079 --> 00:52:36.239
So it's almost like that thing happened for you.
00:52:36.480 --> 00:52:37.920
So Yes, that's one thing.
00:52:38.079 --> 00:52:38.400
So, Dr.
00:52:38.480 --> 00:52:47.199
Katie, this is one thing I have experienced all functional practitioners, and I don't know if it's only functional, but I do want to add holistic health practitioners too.
00:52:47.519 --> 00:52:55.760
I've noticed this trend that both those domains, the practitioner himself or herself has gone through that and then they get there.
00:52:56.000 --> 00:52:56.400
That's right.
00:52:56.559 --> 00:52:57.599
Then they get that calling.
00:52:57.760 --> 00:52:58.000
Yes.
00:52:58.159 --> 00:52:58.400
You know?
00:52:58.480 --> 00:52:58.719
Yes.
00:52:58.880 --> 00:53:00.320
So it's it's really amazing, you know?
00:53:00.400 --> 00:53:00.559
Yeah.
00:53:00.719 --> 00:53:04.800
But on the other side, on the conventional, I've never heard these kind of stories.
00:53:05.039 --> 00:53:05.280
Sorry.
00:53:05.519 --> 00:53:05.840
Right?
00:53:06.079 --> 00:53:10.880
Where, hey, what what prompted you to to be on this side helping out others?
00:53:11.039 --> 00:53:20.480
So that on the holistic health and the functional health, I have never come across somebody who just say, uh, oh, I just did, I just graduated and now I'm helping others, you know.
00:53:20.880 --> 00:53:26.239
They had their own health challenges, they healed themselves and now they are ready to heal others, you know.
00:53:26.480 --> 00:53:28.800
That's usually the theme I I've always heard.
00:53:28.880 --> 00:53:29.599
You know, that's right.
00:53:29.679 --> 00:53:29.840
Yeah.
00:53:30.000 --> 00:53:32.800
Every guest on our podcast have actually the same story.
00:53:32.960 --> 00:53:46.400
Is that their children or themselves or their spouse, or you know, someone they love dearly that happened to them and conventional medicine could not help, so they turn to functional and they start asking questions that dig deeper.
00:53:46.639 --> 00:53:46.880
Correct.
00:53:47.039 --> 00:53:47.440
And here we are.
00:53:47.760 --> 00:53:47.920
Yes.
00:53:48.400 --> 00:54:00.079
You know, so the on the conventional side, uh, one thing I want to add is because a lot of people, when they start saying, hey, conventional is where you tried your level best in getting your answers or health.
00:54:00.239 --> 00:54:04.480
But one thing where the conventional plays a big role is acute illnesses.
00:54:04.719 --> 00:54:05.119
That's right.
00:54:05.360 --> 00:54:12.719
So so I want to definitely leave that kind of difference that for acute illnesses, emergency medical.
00:54:13.199 --> 00:54:14.320
You need you need conventional.
00:54:14.880 --> 00:54:16.079
You need that, you know.
00:54:16.400 --> 00:54:30.719
But on the chronic illnesses, things you have been dealing for months and years, and you have been knocking door of every practitioner, that's where the holistic and the functional approach is way ahead of the conventional side, you know.
00:54:31.039 --> 00:54:36.159
I'm sure you probably you know listen something similar from other other patients, you know.
00:54:36.559 --> 00:54:37.440
But that's the key.
00:54:37.519 --> 00:54:42.079
I mean, that's where my rule of thumb is that hey, if it's anything acute, I'm going there.
00:54:42.559 --> 00:54:42.880
You know?
00:54:43.039 --> 00:54:43.199
Yeah.
00:54:43.440 --> 00:54:55.199
But if it's anything chronic, that either someone in the family, a friend, or let's say down the road, when I start seeing, you know, clients, then I'll I'll be able to tell them, hey, this is what you keep in mind.
00:54:55.440 --> 00:54:57.519
Acute, go there, chronic, let's meet.
00:54:57.920 --> 00:54:58.079
Yeah.
00:54:58.239 --> 00:55:09.280
And I'm sure to close the episode, of course, we talk about this before, that there's a difference between the patient that got the healing and the patient that really stuck.
00:55:09.679 --> 00:55:13.039
It's not just the physical illness or the physical problem.
00:55:13.280 --> 00:55:21.039
I've seen a lot of patients that get amazing transformation like you and people that we experience in the practice is the mindset.
00:55:21.440 --> 00:55:22.079
Mindset, yes.
00:55:22.400 --> 00:55:29.199
Not giving up, not stop asking questions, not stop digging, and not finding excuse and not doing something.
00:55:29.599 --> 00:55:32.880
Oh no, it's so hard, my schedule is too busy, I can't eat healthy.
00:55:33.280 --> 00:55:35.840
Or no, you know, I just had to stay in the house with Mo.
00:55:36.239 --> 00:55:36.800
I can't move.
00:55:36.880 --> 00:55:37.039
Right.
00:55:37.199 --> 00:55:41.039
I mean, once people find excuse, they stop doing things that I need to do.
00:55:41.360 --> 00:55:48.239
One thing I learned from holistic practitioners is also, so I've gone to every, what do you call, every domain of medicine, you know?
00:55:48.400 --> 00:55:48.719
Yeah.
00:55:48.880 --> 00:55:58.000
And so and I'll say that every branch did something for me, you know, because I learned from them and they give me some healing, different aspect.
00:55:58.400 --> 00:56:02.320
So basically, so it it, you know, like like there is a saying, it takes a village, you know.
00:56:02.559 --> 00:56:03.119
Take a village.
00:56:03.360 --> 00:56:05.440
So but on the holistic side, there's one thing.
00:56:05.519 --> 00:56:11.599
So just to add on to what you said, I learned is what you say and what you think also impacts your health.
00:56:11.920 --> 00:56:12.239
Of course.
00:56:12.320 --> 00:56:13.599
Your body listens to all of it.
00:56:13.840 --> 00:56:14.000
Right.
00:56:14.400 --> 00:56:18.159
So I think it says that it stays encoded in your body, you know.
00:56:18.320 --> 00:56:22.480
So some of that, I think you probably mentioned uh in our conversation, the emotions.
00:56:22.960 --> 00:56:28.320
So those get tramped in your body, and then later down the road they impact emotions, trauma.
00:56:28.639 --> 00:56:29.039
That's right.
00:56:29.199 --> 00:56:29.679
You know, yeah.
00:56:29.840 --> 00:56:31.039
So that's sometimes.
00:56:31.199 --> 00:56:43.039
So let's say if somebody, you know, has done, like myself, you know, checked all the boxes, you've done your gut health, your other systemic body issues, you took care of your sinus health, your dental health, and then okay, what else?
00:56:43.199 --> 00:56:46.960
And that what else is both for emotional and trauma.
00:56:47.199 --> 00:56:47.599
That's right.
00:56:47.840 --> 00:56:50.960
So because those might be your I'm so happy to hear those might be your hidden pieces.
00:56:51.440 --> 00:56:52.000
Yeah, this is.
00:56:52.159 --> 00:56:59.119
I'm so happy to hear that as a functional provider and you are on your journey to help others, that's a big part to remind people.
00:56:59.280 --> 00:56:59.599
Yeah, yeah.
00:56:59.840 --> 00:57:00.639
That's a really big part.
00:57:00.719 --> 00:57:01.440
So thank you so much.
00:57:01.920 --> 00:57:09.360
But see, yeah, no, thanks a lot for uh for having me over here and giving me the opportunity to share my healing journey post-surgical.
00:57:09.599 --> 00:57:19.360
No, it's magical to hear the before and the after and the fact that what you learn from your own healing journey can, you know what, one day or very soon impacting our protocol too.
00:57:19.519 --> 00:57:20.320
We're gonna add this.
00:57:20.480 --> 00:57:22.079
Yes, Ivy same day.
00:57:22.639 --> 00:57:27.199
Yes, I I would highly encourage the Ivy post surgery, I mean this day of surgery.
00:57:27.519 --> 00:57:28.079
Day of surgery, yeah.
00:57:28.320 --> 00:57:30.559
Depending on whether it's morning or afternoon, you know.
00:57:30.880 --> 00:57:31.039
Yeah.
00:57:31.199 --> 00:57:32.559
So because that definitely played.
00:57:33.039 --> 00:57:33.599
We're always learning.
00:57:33.760 --> 00:57:33.920
Dr.
00:57:34.079 --> 00:57:41.119
Don and I, we're so thankful because we're seeing patients like you who's sharing us our your healing experience, and we're like, wow, that's great.
00:57:41.199 --> 00:57:42.400
We should add that on the protocol.
00:57:42.559 --> 00:57:43.679
We already talked to each other about that.
00:57:43.760 --> 00:57:52.639
So even if you ask any functional practitioners who have done this for 40 years, they'll be on a podcast and they'll say it's every day is still learning days.
00:57:52.880 --> 00:57:53.519
It's still learning, yeah.
00:57:53.840 --> 00:57:54.639
It never ends.
00:57:54.880 --> 00:58:02.000
And then I want to uh also mention that so your practice is beyond dentistry, you know?
00:58:02.239 --> 00:58:09.039
Because so when I came over right last year, you walk in with just this this the mindset that, oh, I'm just seeing a dentist.
00:58:09.199 --> 00:58:19.519
But no, I, you know, so anybody who who shows up in your clinic should come with that mindset that no, I'm not seeing a dentist, or even put the word biological dentistry, because you and Dr.
00:58:19.679 --> 00:58:22.159
Don are way beyond the dentistry.
00:58:22.320 --> 00:58:37.840
You are able to provide the missing links or guide them, you know, that hey, you need to go see this person X, Y, Z, because our evaluation is showing that those are your bottom necks where you have not been able to achieve optimal health, you know.
00:58:38.079 --> 00:58:39.519
I really appreciate that part.
00:58:39.840 --> 00:58:40.079
Thank you.
00:58:40.239 --> 00:58:42.639
That's why we're so proud to be a part of the team.
00:58:42.880 --> 00:58:45.760
That's why we said every patient needs a team, like a village.
00:58:45.920 --> 00:58:46.079
