ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Do you ever feel like you’re bothering people, when you post your content?
One of my students wrote:
“Consistency of communication is my goal. To hold myself more accountable to this and get over the problem I have with feeling that I am bothering people by sending them content via email or other means, even if they have signed up for my list!!”
Maybe you can relate. I appreciate your sensitivity! It means you’re being thoughtful and courteous about other people’s time and attention.
And yet, it’s important to understand that you have any kind of audience (even if it’s just a few Facebook friends) because they actually want to hear from you...

People who wrote their goals down, wrote their action commitments, and reported to an account…
My website looked like crap for seventeen years, and the business still did fine. Meanwhile I've watched people work three months on an offer, get two business coaches to sign off on it, and barely sell a thing. It took me most of my career to figure out that polish was never the problem. The offer…

I don't have a logo and I've never nailed down brand colors, and I still have all the clients I need. Get clear on what makes you different from everyone else copying th…
Only two kinds of feedback are worth your attention: people who've actually paid you, and the market's own numbers. If 500 people saw an offer and nobody bought, that's real data -- kill it or take it to a different audience. Everyone else's opinion, however well-meant, is noise. This is a public e…
