ABOUT THIS EPISODE
What does building three businesses from a small town in Wyoming have to do with healing your hormones? Everything.
In this episode, Dr. Tabatha sits down with her dear friend and faith-driven entrepreneur Tamatha Grabin to talk about the thing most women never realize -- the pattern of hustle that's running your business is the same pattern that's burning out your body.
Tamatha has spent 25+ years building businesses with purpose. She founded a traveling nurse agency, grew it, and sold it. She built babyriddle.com before online boutiques were a thing. She runs deSensua, an essential oil company that reaches customers nationwide -- all from Buffalo, Wyoming.
But this conversation isn't really about business. It's about what happens when you stop grinding long enough to actually hear God.
IN THIS EPISODE:
- Why hustle is a healing block -- not just a business problem
- How letting go of old patterns creates space for what God actually has for you
- The parallel between business seasons and hormonal seasons -- and why your old strategies won't work on your new body
- What perseverance actually looks like when you can't see the other side
- Legacy -- what you're passing to your daughters by how you care for yourself right now
- The quiet counter-move to anxiety: why stillness creates clarity
CLOSING SCRIPTURE:
James 1:2-4 -- "Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

00:02:06.589 --> 00:02:12.909
When things aren't working for us, our natural nature is to hustle and to grind more.
00:02:13.870 --> 00:02:17.310
But I would just urge people to just stop.
00:02:17.949 --> 00:02:27.949
Like that's the hardest thing is to just stop and to get quiet and to really listen to your body, listen to what God is saying to you.
00:02:28.430 --> 00:02:41.550
When you can do that, because the world will tell you to hustle, figure it out, keep grinding, like do 30,000 diets, and then read all this stuff and you know just do what the world's telling you to.
00:02:41.789 --> 00:02:45.069
But God really tells us just to stop and rest.
00:02:50.430 --> 00:03:00.110
If you're tired of doing all the right things and still feeling exhausted, stuck in your body, and disconnected from God, this podcast is for you.
00:03:00.269 --> 00:03:00.829
I'm Dr.
00:03:00.909 --> 00:03:10.110
Tabitha, a triple board certified functional medicine physician, and I help women stop fighting their bodies and start healing them God's way.
00:03:10.269 --> 00:03:11.709
Let's get into it.
00:03:17.389 --> 00:03:20.189
Here's something nobody tells you about healing.
00:03:20.509 --> 00:03:27.709
The season that feels like it's breaking you, it might be the season God is building you.
00:03:27.949 --> 00:03:31.709
Today I'm sitting down with my incredible friend Tamitha.
00:03:32.030 --> 00:03:39.709
She is a faith-driven entrepreneur who built not one but three businesses from a small town in rural Wyoming.
00:03:40.030 --> 00:03:49.629
And what she's learned in 25 years of building and setbacks is exactly what you need to hear if you're in a hard season with your health right now.
00:03:50.030 --> 00:03:52.110
So this is Fast of Faith.
00:03:52.269 --> 00:03:53.069
Let's go.
00:03:53.310 --> 00:03:54.189
Hi, Ashley.
00:03:54.349 --> 00:03:54.829
Hey there.
00:03:54.990 --> 00:03:55.709
How are you doing?
00:03:55.870 --> 00:03:57.629
Oh my gosh, I'm so pumped.
00:03:57.949 --> 00:03:59.310
I love our guest.
00:03:59.469 --> 00:04:04.430
I cannot wait for the world to know her because I fell in love with her immediately.
00:04:04.750 --> 00:04:05.550
Oh, amazing.
00:04:05.789 --> 00:04:06.189
I know.
00:04:06.349 --> 00:04:07.149
You weren't there.
00:04:07.229 --> 00:04:08.829
I was out in California.
00:04:09.069 --> 00:04:20.350
Um, I am in a mastermind run by Brooke Thomas, and I met this beautiful woman whose name was almost like mine, you know, just an M instead of a B.
00:04:20.509 --> 00:04:22.509
And so we immediately connected.
00:04:22.750 --> 00:04:27.550
And I think I shared my tattoo story a little bit a few months ago, right?
00:04:27.790 --> 00:04:40.189
But Tamitha was the beautiful woman that went with me when I was acting crazy and just like, oh my gosh, I have to get this word tattooed on my arm.
00:04:40.909 --> 00:04:48.110
God had been nudging me for about eight months to tattoo the word chosen, and I didn't feel worthy.
00:04:48.189 --> 00:04:53.790
I didn't feel like that is something that I could put on my body in a spot where people could see.
00:04:53.949 --> 00:04:56.509
He was like, No, it needs to be right there.
00:04:56.990 --> 00:04:58.909
And you have your tattoo.
00:04:59.069 --> 00:05:03.310
And I would look at it and he'd be like, When are you gonna get your tattoo?
00:05:03.550 --> 00:05:18.509
So Tamitha and I did this experience at Brooke's house, and we dove really deep into like what is in our heart, because um how you think in your heart is who you are.
00:05:18.670 --> 00:05:20.189
That's what the Bible tells us.
00:05:20.430 --> 00:05:24.110
And that day, God was like, You have to get this tattoo.
00:05:24.269 --> 00:05:27.389
And I told Tamitha, and she was like, Okay, let's go, girl.
00:05:27.550 --> 00:05:36.670
And here's the most beautiful part Tamitha prayed over me in her car for gosh, like five minutes.
00:05:37.230 --> 00:05:42.189
And I got this incredible vision of Acts 940.
00:05:42.350 --> 00:05:47.230
It is where Peter is asked to come see this dead woman.
00:05:47.469 --> 00:05:50.110
She'd passed away, they put her in an upper room.
00:05:50.189 --> 00:05:51.790
She was a seamstress.
00:05:52.269 --> 00:05:59.870
Um, she helped so many women in her community, and all the women in the community were sad that she died.
00:06:00.029 --> 00:06:04.509
And that is who my mom named me after, this woman in the Bible, Tabitha.
00:06:04.750 --> 00:06:08.909
And she's a seamstress, and so she connected to this woman.
00:06:09.230 --> 00:06:13.790
But Peter walks into the room and says, Tabitha, get up.
00:06:14.269 --> 00:06:20.750
And she goes out and she blesses so many other women after that in her community.
00:06:20.990 --> 00:06:27.469
And like, I just had this vision of like, oh my gosh, God, I see the dots now.
00:06:27.549 --> 00:06:29.870
It's all starting to make sense.
00:06:30.029 --> 00:06:33.709
I was dead in my sins, I was dead in my previous life.
00:06:34.029 --> 00:06:40.349
You have made me alive again, and I just have to acknowledge that publicly.
00:06:40.509 --> 00:06:43.229
I have to tattoo that on myself.
00:06:43.389 --> 00:06:50.269
And so Tamitha chat GPT'd me a beautiful little image, and we got it done.
00:06:50.349 --> 00:06:52.509
And I was so grateful for her friendship.
00:06:52.589 --> 00:06:56.269
And she's one of those women, like, we just dove in the deep end together.
00:06:56.430 --> 00:06:59.789
The day we met, we're like all out on the table.
00:07:00.029 --> 00:07:02.269
Every you know, thing we've been through.
00:07:02.430 --> 00:07:09.310
It was just a beautiful uh relationship that grew so quickly.
00:07:09.549 --> 00:07:15.629
And um, she's just a wealth of knowledge, and I can't wait to share her with you and with the world.
00:07:15.709 --> 00:07:16.909
So that's awesome.
00:07:17.069 --> 00:07:18.589
Yeah, I know.
00:07:18.669 --> 00:07:26.909
I had to share that because sometimes you meet people and they're part of your your path, right?
00:07:27.069 --> 00:07:35.789
They're really part of the core of who you are when you're finding yourself, when you're finding your relationship with Jesus.
00:07:35.949 --> 00:07:37.870
And Tamitha, welcome.
00:07:38.029 --> 00:07:40.029
I think you're one of those people for me.
00:07:40.189 --> 00:07:43.069
You're just you bring me closer to Jesus.
00:07:43.389 --> 00:07:44.669
Oh, I love that.
00:07:44.750 --> 00:07:45.629
Thank you so much.
00:07:45.709 --> 00:07:49.709
That just blesses my heart because I feel the same way about you.
00:07:49.870 --> 00:08:00.909
It's like it's just that almost like that ironing, sharpening iron that you just need people, and God at the perfect time always brings that connection.
00:08:01.229 --> 00:08:03.789
And so I've I've just been so blessed.
00:08:03.870 --> 00:08:04.990
And I love our names.
00:08:05.149 --> 00:08:06.509
I love hanging out with you.
00:08:06.909 --> 00:08:09.069
It's so fun to tell people our names.
00:08:09.389 --> 00:08:12.109
I know they do a double take, they're like, wait, what?
00:08:12.990 --> 00:08:15.389
Yeah, so fun.
00:08:15.549 --> 00:08:15.870
Okay.
00:08:16.349 --> 00:08:19.149
Well, you are a savvy business woman.
00:08:19.310 --> 00:08:21.229
I've learned so much from you already.
00:08:21.389 --> 00:08:30.909
And I the coolest part is like you created an online business before like online businesses were cool, right?
00:08:31.149 --> 00:08:31.629
Oh, yeah.
00:08:37.470 --> 00:08:38.350
Oh my gosh.
00:08:38.509 --> 00:08:44.430
So I want to hear from you like, why do you think you were called to that?
00:08:44.509 --> 00:08:59.710
Because you were running a nursing, you know, support staff agency, and like everything just shifted for you, and you persevered through so much turmoil, and now you're in this space where like everybody's starting an online business.
00:08:59.870 --> 00:09:10.669
So I just want to get some wisdom from you because, like I mentioned um at the get-go, how we do one thing is how we do all things.
00:09:10.909 --> 00:09:23.549
So I I know that you've learned things creating a business and being successful in business that have spilled over into your health, into your relationships with your husband and your children and all the things, right?
00:09:23.629 --> 00:09:26.430
So I just want to like dive into all of that.
00:09:26.509 --> 00:09:28.029
So, where do you want to start?
00:09:28.830 --> 00:09:47.629
Oh, uh, it's funny because I, you know, God will take you get you to a certain point, like your 50s, and you reevaluate and you look back and go, wow, that's what you were doing.
00:09:48.350 --> 00:10:10.430
But you're in the middle of the process, and and so, you know, I look at every season of my life and where God has taken me and every opportunity, every door he's opened for me, every hard thing I've been through, every difficult person I've dealt with, raising children, all of that, starting businesses.
00:10:10.669 --> 00:10:27.389
It's like, you know, I just look at it and I at like from that point to 50, I'm like, wow, that's what you were doing, you know, because you get caught so caught up in the middle of all of it.
00:10:28.029 --> 00:10:34.590
And I look back on that season, you know, I I had no idea I was gonna be a businesswoman.
00:10:34.909 --> 00:10:37.710
I um went to Bible school.
00:10:38.029 --> 00:10:52.110
Then I decided when I was on the mission field in Brazil that I was gonna become a nurse because I wanted to build a uh excuse me, a malaria clinic and go back there and serve.
00:10:52.590 --> 00:11:11.629
But then I got back and um I started going through nursing school, finished it, and within seven months um I got connected into this travel nurse agency, and um, which is impossible when you just first graduate from nursing school, you have to have a couple years experience.
00:11:12.189 --> 00:11:19.710
Um I I worked for they let me work for seven months, and then I was like, hey, let's build a business.
00:11:19.949 --> 00:11:28.350
And I would have had no idea like where God, like He does the impossible, you know, if I don't put you in certain places.
00:11:28.750 --> 00:11:31.149
And so that started my business career.
00:11:31.629 --> 00:11:38.509
And but I look back and I I'm so grateful uh for the process that he's taken me through.
00:11:38.590 --> 00:11:45.949
And I like the process now because I can look back and go, wow, you are building my character, all this hard stuff.
00:11:46.110 --> 00:11:55.549
You are like shaping me for this moment and season now so that I can be a blessing wherever I go.
00:11:55.870 --> 00:12:05.309
So uh I look at the whole aspect of it and I I I just I'm thankful for the seasons, you know.
00:12:05.710 --> 00:12:12.269
Yeah, I'm sure there's women thinking, oh my gosh, you just went to school for nursing, you're gonna do mission work.
00:12:12.669 --> 00:12:22.669
How do you take such a hard left and go in a different direction and not uh just be afraid, you know?
00:12:22.909 --> 00:12:28.750
So many women, they they see that opportunity, but they don't take it.
00:12:28.909 --> 00:12:30.509
Why do you think you took it?
00:12:31.470 --> 00:12:45.069
Um I just think, you know, I think when God is when you're trusting in God, and I think that doors open up, and I've always been a risk taker, you know.
00:12:45.149 --> 00:12:50.509
I like I like change and and I never knew I liked challenge so much.
00:12:50.829 --> 00:12:52.750
But um, God knows you.
00:12:52.909 --> 00:12:58.990
That's the beautiful thing, is He knows you, He built you, and He will equip you.
00:12:59.149 --> 00:13:06.990
And so, you know, I think it's just that that trusting and then just walking in the door and trusting.
00:13:07.149 --> 00:13:15.309
But, you know, again, you go back to when you you you have to be in movement to see what God is gonna do.
00:13:15.549 --> 00:13:17.149
Like you have to move.
00:13:17.389 --> 00:13:31.629
And so I think it was my movement, and it was not that I saw the whole picture, but I saw that he was um, I just moved little by little, and that's how God God works.
00:13:31.789 --> 00:13:59.230
So it wasn't like me knowing the whole picture, it was just taking a step of faith and trusting, you know, and I don't I don't even know back then if I would say, well, I would say it was trusting, but you know, it's it's that movement that in trying to make a change and opening your mind and not holding on to the old stuff because this is the season I'm in too.
00:13:59.309 --> 00:14:03.629
It's like and I think it's a constant thing that God is doing in us.
00:14:03.789 --> 00:14:06.429
It's like, what are you holding on to back there?
00:14:06.669 --> 00:14:23.710
Because if you're holding on to stuff back there and what you think you should be or be doing or doing for your body, like especially in this season when you hit menopause, it's like it's it's not the same as it was back there.
00:14:23.789 --> 00:14:41.710
But if you keep holding on to the old ways, you're gonna be stuck with the old systems, and uh so I think that just that moving forward, um, that movement of releasing old thoughts and moving into the new ones um has been really helpful for me.
00:14:41.789 --> 00:14:46.110
And and sometimes I don't even know I'm doing it, but I just kept moving.
00:14:46.429 --> 00:14:49.870
Ooh, okay, Academy coaching director.
00:14:50.110 --> 00:14:51.389
Can you highlight that?
00:14:51.629 --> 00:14:56.269
Because we try to drill that into women all of the time.
00:14:56.429 --> 00:14:58.909
You just need to get into messy action.
00:14:58.990 --> 00:15:07.949
You need to move your body, you need to clean out your pantry, you need to make some decisions and just move forward because God's doing a new thing, right?
00:15:08.189 --> 00:15:08.509
Yeah.
00:15:08.669 --> 00:15:12.669
The whole time you were talking, I was thinking about Lot's wife, and like you literally just can't look back.
00:15:12.750 --> 00:15:21.710
And I feel like God's been working on me a little bit with this too, because we can get really caught up in our past, especially with like Facebook memories.
00:15:21.870 --> 00:15:30.909
Like you can look at those every day and you can see past things and you remember things in a different way than you probably felt when you were going through it.
00:15:31.069 --> 00:15:37.069
And so you look at those memories and you think all these wonderful thoughts, but really you were probably going through hell then too.
00:15:37.230 --> 00:15:39.149
You just kind of blocked that out.
00:15:39.470 --> 00:15:47.149
And so I've actually stopped looking at my Facebook memories over the last three or four months because it can be painful, to be straight up honest.
00:15:47.389 --> 00:15:52.829
Um, and like you said, when your body goes through changes, it you have to change what you're doing.
00:15:52.909 --> 00:15:53.549
And so we do.
00:15:53.629 --> 00:15:55.949
We have to take just small, simple steps.
00:15:56.029 --> 00:16:00.750
And some people just try to change everything all at once, and that's where the failure happens.
00:16:00.909 --> 00:16:05.309
I think you just need to focus on one thing today, take that step, and then just keep going.
00:16:05.389 --> 00:16:07.309
Like you said, get into messy action.
00:16:07.470 --> 00:16:09.870
But you absolutely have to stop looking back.
00:16:10.189 --> 00:16:17.470
Okay, you just um explained why I've been struggling for the past few weeks with my son graduating high school.
00:16:17.629 --> 00:16:19.629
Those darn Facebook memories.
00:16:20.029 --> 00:16:27.230
All the pictures of him as a child were are they popping up, but then we had to go through them to get ready for his party.
00:16:27.389 --> 00:16:27.710
Absolutely.
00:16:28.029 --> 00:16:29.870
And there are times when you have to do that.
00:16:30.350 --> 00:16:41.549
And so that brings up memories of being married to his dad and my previous life and all the stuff, and looking back, and you're right, you don't remember it in the same way.
00:16:41.789 --> 00:16:43.949
Yeah, you really just look at the joyful moments.
00:16:44.029 --> 00:16:46.990
You're obviously not posting the crappy moments on Facebook.
00:16:47.230 --> 00:16:48.189
Let's be real.
00:16:48.429 --> 00:16:51.870
And so, like, you're you're looking and you're probably not taking pictures of crappy moments.
00:16:51.949 --> 00:16:58.110
So when you're looking at those photos, all you're seeing is the joy, and you probably like it just isn't really there.
00:16:58.350 --> 00:16:59.230
It warps your mind.
00:16:59.309 --> 00:17:07.870
Yeah, it does, and it makes you feel like, oh gosh, maybe I shouldn't have done XYZ, but you did and you've moved on, and you've got to stop looking back.
00:17:07.950 --> 00:17:09.230
But it's it's really hard.
00:17:09.309 --> 00:17:11.150
It's hard not to compare to your past.
00:17:11.470 --> 00:17:12.590
Okay, Tamitha.
00:17:12.829 --> 00:17:25.390
So was that why it was easier to start your businesses back in the day because you didn't have social media to compare your business to what everybody else's businesses are doing.
00:17:25.549 --> 00:17:37.470
Do you feel a difference in this day and age running your businesses now that um you can literally compare yourself to a hundred other online businesses?
00:17:37.789 --> 00:18:07.789
Oh yeah, like that's uh a real thing with um sometimes I stay purposely stay off social media because I realize like I'm starting to slow down um just spiritually and emotionally by not looking at social media all the time because I recognize what it creates in me is uh anxiety.
00:18:08.029 --> 00:18:10.829
Um, so back then, yeah, you didn't you didn't have that.
00:18:10.990 --> 00:18:16.750
You had other things, more the unknown, like um, I got a problem solved, how am I gonna do this?
00:18:16.910 --> 00:18:34.910
And of course you didn't have the resources, but now you have so much, and and we can get, you know, into so many, like, I need to do this, I need to do that, I need to, like, even even with like weight loss, I need to do this, I need to do that, I need to follow this, I need to do that.
00:18:35.069 --> 00:18:50.029
And then, like, that anxiety that it creates doesn't create enough space to really hear what God is saying to you, what your body needs, what our business needs, and so that's the state that I'm in.
00:18:50.670 --> 00:19:00.509
It's just that real like getting quiet so that I can really hear, because quietness creates clarity.
00:19:00.750 --> 00:19:27.710
And then also, you know, of course, you look at your competition or you know, old things, and you just start like, and and you're right, like going back, like I this season in our business, and even my personal life, even my weight loss life, um, it's like if I keep looking back, I'm holding on to old things that will never shift me, never change me.
00:19:27.869 --> 00:19:33.869
And and God is, you know, you think about God, He re He says He renews us every single day.
00:19:33.950 --> 00:19:36.190
We're new people every single day.
00:19:36.430 --> 00:19:49.869
So if we're holding back onto things that used to work for us in our business, or used to work in how I used to lose weight, or you know, uh used to how I did things spirit, even spiritually.
00:19:50.029 --> 00:19:58.509
It's like they're dead, they're gone, they're old, and just looking forward um has really shifted.
00:19:58.670 --> 00:20:09.950
Like I just have to be like I'm new every day, and my body's new every day, my mind is new every single day, um, has really helped me to not.
00:20:10.349 --> 00:20:16.829
I mean, I I take the old stuff as learning lessons, but the new stuff as um growth.
00:20:16.910 --> 00:20:28.269
So I heard a great statement, statement, and it was like, would you rather be um uh an expert in the old or a novice in the new?
00:20:29.150 --> 00:20:39.470
And it was really powerful because of all the way things are changing um in our whole world, and you know, and it it even goes back to our bodies.
00:20:39.869 --> 00:20:43.309
Like I would rather be a novice in the new.
00:20:44.509 --> 00:20:52.109
I I would just rather set my mind to figuring out and recreating new solutions for myself.
00:20:52.990 --> 00:20:56.910
Yeah, I feel like this kind of goes back to what I said yesterday on our sisterhood call.
00:20:57.069 --> 00:21:03.309
Like, God doesn't want us to just survive, he really truly wants us to thrive in the season that we're walking in.
00:21:03.710 --> 00:21:04.430
Absolutely.
00:21:04.670 --> 00:21:05.629
He absolutely does.
00:21:05.789 --> 00:21:06.670
John didn't tend.
00:21:07.069 --> 00:21:12.829
Like he did not die for us to have a miserable life, he died for us to have life to the full.
00:21:13.150 --> 00:21:20.829
And so much of that is distorted, and we really can buy into a lot of those lies.
00:21:21.069 --> 00:21:38.269
Something else I want to unpack is this idea that you have to sacrifice your health if you want to be a successful businesswoman, or you have to sacrifice your family, you know, like you can't figure out how to do it all.
00:21:38.430 --> 00:22:05.549
And maybe it's not all in the same season, but I truly believe when you are conquering your health and and caring for yourself and you know, getting in the word to start your day, like it just makes all the other things fall into place easier, running a business, creating, you know, teams, doing things, being a leader or you know, homeschooling or whatever you're doing.
00:22:05.629 --> 00:22:07.710
I it is all connected.
00:22:07.789 --> 00:22:24.029
And so I it's not that you can have it all, it's that you just show up as this person who actually cares enough about her body and that spills over into her family and her in her business.
00:22:24.190 --> 00:22:50.750
Um, I would love for you to speak to that because I I think we all get into these seasons, I know I do, where I'm grinding and hustling and working on my business the way the world tells me to, and I forget about my body and I forget about my health, and then I pay the price, and God's like, that's not how I asked you to do it, you know, and you have to come back into alignment with with what He wants for you, right?
00:22:51.389 --> 00:22:53.629
Right, yes, for sure.
00:22:54.029 --> 00:23:24.109
So one thing that um really has stood out to me, and especially like this season, I really because I've like you know, like you've done it all where you're you get in that hustle and then you try to rebalance, or you know, things are always getting out of balance in life, and so this season I've really again slowed down and go, where do I operate at my very best, at my highest level?
00:23:24.430 --> 00:23:27.150
And it's when I'm at peace.
00:23:27.470 --> 00:23:35.470
And my peace comes from when I spend time with the Lord, so that's my spiritual aspect.
00:23:35.869 --> 00:23:53.389
Um, when my soul is healed, when I'm really slowing down enough to ask God to heal my soul, my emotions, um, when I have those under control, and then in movement, you know, in my physical body.
00:23:53.549 --> 00:24:35.710
It's like so when those three things come into alignment, like your days you operate at your best, your highest level, and so I think that's But um again, going back to that, just taking that time to make sure that those three things are in alignment, you operate at your highest level always, and so that's the hardest part is when we get into seasons where we uh are, you know, when things aren't working for us, our natural nature is to hustle and to grind more.
00:24:36.509 --> 00:24:51.389
But I would just urge people to just stop, like that's the hardest thing is to just stop and to get quiet and to really listen to your body, listen to what God is saying to you.
00:24:51.789 --> 00:25:12.029
And um, when when you can do that, because the world will tell you to hustle, figure it out, keep grinding, like do 30,000 diets and um you know, and then read all this stuff and and you know, just do what the world's telling you to, but God really tells us just to stop and rest.
00:25:12.750 --> 00:25:20.029
And then when we catch that rest, like my favorite verses or scripture is Psalm 23.
00:25:20.109 --> 00:25:21.150
That's been my season.
00:25:21.309 --> 00:25:37.389
Like, boy, I'm just peaceful when I'm walking by the still waters, you know, he's leading me there, and he's making me lie down in the green grass, and all the other things just disappear, and then I can rest and find the right path again.
00:25:38.269 --> 00:25:43.470
Real quick, I just want to interrupt this conversation for something super important.
00:25:44.430 --> 00:25:54.670
Even though we need to take care of ourselves spiritually, emotionally, and physically, we do have to take care of ourselves at a cellular level.
00:25:54.829 --> 00:25:58.190
And that is why I have my Fast to Face supplement line.
00:25:58.269 --> 00:26:06.349
So let's just take a minute to hear about something that might be the game changer that you need in this season.
00:26:06.910 --> 00:26:10.269
Here's one of the things that the GLP1 drugs don't do.
00:26:10.509 --> 00:26:17.950
They don't increase your metabolism, and they don't also increase your body's natural production of GLP1.
00:26:18.430 --> 00:26:23.150
What metabolit will do is it's a combination of plant extracts.
00:26:23.230 --> 00:26:25.629
So it's lemon verbena and hibiscus.
00:26:25.789 --> 00:26:34.430
Now, those two have been researched, studied, and patented together as a duo to increase GLP1 by 55% in the body.
00:26:34.589 --> 00:26:36.269
It's doing it naturally.
00:26:36.750 --> 00:26:42.029
It's gonna naturally help you lower cravings and you're gonna feel a little bit fuller.
00:26:42.190 --> 00:26:46.029
In the clinical trials, they studied obese and overweight patients.
00:26:46.190 --> 00:26:52.750
The obese patients lost on average 10 pounds over two months, and overweight it was eight pounds over two months.
00:26:52.990 --> 00:26:56.029
So this isn't gonna get you to the point where you don't ever want to eat.
00:26:56.109 --> 00:26:57.470
You're just not gonna feel as hungry.
00:26:57.549 --> 00:26:59.150
You're just mildly full.
00:26:59.470 --> 00:27:04.589
But you're still gonna be, you know, consuming food and then also increasing your metabolism as well.
00:27:08.349 --> 00:27:09.950
Okay, this is so wild.
00:27:10.109 --> 00:27:23.309
So this morning I woke up with like this really nice sense of peace, and I was sat down to do my Bible time, and I am leading a call tomorrow for our coaches, and I just really felt like I was like, get your pen out, you gotta start writing.
00:27:23.549 --> 00:27:33.470
And he gave me Ecclesiastics 1010 this morning, and it says that if an axe is dull, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success.
00:27:33.789 --> 00:27:48.269
And so I'm using that scripture tomorrow for the call because what we do is we try to sharpen that doll axe ourselves instead of sharpening our skills and learning more and sitting still with the Lord.
00:27:48.509 --> 00:27:50.509
And that's kind of what happened to me this morning.
00:27:50.589 --> 00:27:52.990
I like walked away from this beautiful time with the Lord.
00:27:53.069 --> 00:27:56.750
I did my workout, I was feeling good, and then I opened up my email.
00:27:56.990 --> 00:28:02.750
That was dumb because then all the worldly stuff started coming after me and it started sucking the peace out of me.
00:28:02.910 --> 00:28:06.430
And I'm realizing why that happened because we were gonna have this conversation today.
00:28:06.750 --> 00:28:11.389
But it is just so important to have that quiet time and be still.
00:28:11.629 --> 00:28:15.230
And but in this world, it doesn't want us to be still.
00:28:15.309 --> 00:28:18.990
So we're literally fighting against that every single day, all day long.
00:28:19.150 --> 00:28:21.069
And sometimes it can be exhausting.
00:28:21.389 --> 00:28:22.190
Absolutely.
00:28:22.349 --> 00:28:28.190
I mean, that is the how self-help way, like fix it yourself, figure it out yourself.
00:28:28.430 --> 00:28:29.869
You are your own savior.
00:28:29.950 --> 00:28:38.190
And I'm sorry, but your ego needs to die because you're not your own savior, and that is why you keep spiraling, right?
00:28:38.670 --> 00:28:42.349
So, oh, I'm excited about the training tomorrow.
00:28:42.509 --> 00:28:44.509
That's gonna be that's gonna be some fun.
00:28:44.750 --> 00:28:47.389
I know I did it, did it hold 180 this morning.
00:28:47.470 --> 00:28:49.309
So I was like, okay, got it.
00:28:50.109 --> 00:29:05.950
Well, and you think about um just real quickly, I was just thinking about how the enemy, you know, like we think that he tries to make us like sin, or um, you know, if he can't catch us in sin, what are the things he's gonna catch us in?
00:29:06.109 --> 00:29:12.349
He's gonna make us distracted, over busy, letting the world stress us out.
00:29:12.509 --> 00:29:16.589
And, you know, like that's that's where our protection comes in.
00:29:16.670 --> 00:29:19.629
It's like, how do we keep our battery charged?
00:29:19.710 --> 00:29:22.349
You know, how do we like keep it charged?
00:29:22.430 --> 00:29:33.470
And it's like just recognizing, like you said, what you know, that's how the enemy is going to keep us away from being recharged is if we get, you know, sucked in by the world.
00:29:33.629 --> 00:29:39.710
But that that battery pack is like we got to keep that thing charged to function the very best we can.
00:29:40.029 --> 00:29:49.549
I think that's where fellowship like this and prayer and having meals with people who bring you that joy and that peace and have the same mindset as you is so important.
00:29:49.629 --> 00:29:51.789
I think that's how he designed us to be.
00:29:52.109 --> 00:29:52.750
Absolutely.
00:29:52.910 --> 00:30:01.549
And of course, as I was driving here this morning, um, Ashley Till on the message on Sirius XM, she she was talking about a study.
00:30:01.629 --> 00:30:08.029
It's a very famous study, and how if you are in the Word one day a week, it has no effect on your life.
00:30:08.190 --> 00:30:16.109
They've studied this two days, no effect, three days, no effect, four days, your life transforms.
00:30:16.269 --> 00:30:36.509
There's something about getting over that 50% mark of like having God in your brain, reading his word, being in fellowship more than 50% of your time during the week, that is what changes you and gets you out of this broken worldly garbage.
00:30:36.670 --> 00:30:40.109
And so, of course, I heard that before I got here this morning.
00:30:40.269 --> 00:30:42.349
I love how God works, he's hilarious.
00:30:43.869 --> 00:30:46.750
He is oh my gosh, so good.
00:30:46.990 --> 00:30:53.869
But okay, is there I know women are thinking like, wow, Tamith has had such a blessed life.
00:30:54.029 --> 00:30:56.190
Like, good for you, girl, way to go.
00:30:56.430 --> 00:30:59.869
But you are speaking from experience.
00:31:00.029 --> 00:31:06.349
You have been in the depths of hell, you've suffered some pain, you've been out of alignment, right?
00:31:06.509 --> 00:31:15.629
And I I think God uses it all just to continue to build our character and pull us closer to him.
00:31:15.869 --> 00:31:32.990
So I would love for you to share just like one example of what you have been through that you can now look back and say thank you, but at the time you were you were not happy with God that you were going through it.
00:31:33.710 --> 00:31:35.869
Oh gosh, I have so many.
00:31:36.829 --> 00:31:38.430
We all do, right?
00:31:39.389 --> 00:31:40.990
I have so many.
00:31:41.150 --> 00:31:46.750
Um, but okay, I'll just hit it at this recent spot.
00:31:47.069 --> 00:31:52.750
Um, you know, like my both my girls are gone.
00:31:52.829 --> 00:32:00.109
Um they've graduated, and our business had, you know, done expon exponentially well.
00:32:00.349 --> 00:32:17.629
And but we had, you know, you always have hard seasons in those, you know, like you are you are constantly stretched, like, and um so like in this new season, um, our the last few years, our business had not done as good as it always had.
00:32:17.710 --> 00:32:30.029
And so I've really been thinking about this, like because my body, you know, started doing all the like extra poundage, like things just start sticking to my body too.
00:32:30.269 --> 00:32:33.549
And um, so I'm like, it's so like parallel.
00:32:34.190 --> 00:32:49.950
But it's when you first get into these seasons where things just do not go your way, they're not happening the way you used to, you just can get really down and discouraged and upset.
00:32:50.190 --> 00:32:53.309
And again, you go into that hustle, hustle, hustle.
00:32:53.470 --> 00:32:56.670
I'm trying to, you know, do it myself.
00:32:56.750 --> 00:32:57.710
How do I fix this?
00:32:57.789 --> 00:32:58.430
How do I do this?
00:32:58.589 --> 00:32:59.789
Go back to the old ways.
00:32:59.950 --> 00:33:08.829
But so this season in my life, you know, there's been a lot of different things I've had happen has been really hard.
00:33:08.990 --> 00:33:13.309
And and I've spent many nights just crying in tears.
00:33:13.869 --> 00:33:23.629
But I look back because what God was teaching me is that you have to persevere, you have to persevere through it.
00:33:23.710 --> 00:33:30.509
Like you, you you're not gonna make it on your own, but with the help of God, he will get you through it.
00:33:30.670 --> 00:33:34.829
And then on this side of it, you can look back and say, thank you.
00:33:35.069 --> 00:33:45.869
Because God can't, you know, when you hit our age, life, um, God has different plans for you, but He can't, He has to break up that hard ground.
00:33:46.349 --> 00:33:57.789
And your first season of life, you're raising kids, and and it's about everybody and every, you know, everybody's needs, and then all of a sudden it's like God's got to shift up the old stuff.
00:33:58.029 --> 00:34:17.869
So he's got to break that ground up so that it because seeds can't grow in hard ground, they just can't, they can't grow in old stuff, they need to be broken up, and so that would be the lesson that I would say um all the stuff I've been through in the last few years have been have stretched me.
00:34:18.110 --> 00:34:21.630
I've cried many, many times.
00:34:21.789 --> 00:34:24.670
I've not understood, I beg God, like, oh why?
00:34:24.829 --> 00:34:34.750
But now I have light at the end of the tunnel because I see it was just a process for him to shift me into a new season, a new way of thinking.
00:34:34.990 --> 00:34:40.269
Um, and you know, the old is gone, and God wants to always do new things in us.
00:34:41.070 --> 00:34:42.430
Oh my gosh, I love that.
00:34:42.510 --> 00:34:59.150
And I'm just thinking about moms in general and how there's so much infertility out there right now, and there's so many women who are praying to be a mom, you know, or they've lost one, or they got what they wanted.
00:34:59.309 --> 00:35:02.910
They have all the children and they are in the struggle.
00:35:03.070 --> 00:35:06.750
They are they are struggling right now, especially with summer coming.
00:35:06.910 --> 00:35:08.430
What am I gonna do with all these kids?
00:35:08.590 --> 00:35:12.269
How am I gonna keep my peace with them being home?
00:35:12.670 --> 00:35:18.190
And being a mom is the ultimate teacher of perseverance.
00:35:18.349 --> 00:35:22.110
Like, you can't give those kids back, you can't change your mind.
00:35:22.269 --> 00:35:31.550
Like, you can do that with a business, you can fold up, say, I'm done, I'm I'm over this online business, I can't do this anymore.
00:35:31.789 --> 00:35:40.190
But if you've really committed, like how we commit to being moms, like you figure it out every single day.
00:35:40.349 --> 00:35:48.030
You show up, you keep feeding them, you keep wiping the mouths and the butts and you know, consoling the crying and doing all the stuff.
00:35:48.190 --> 00:35:57.470
And then you get to enjoy it at the end when you see them graduate and get married and have their own babies and do all the things.
00:35:57.710 --> 00:36:15.630
And so it's like if we could just have that mindset about our health, about our businesses, about whatever we're other things we're doing in our lives, then I think we would have more peace and we will be more successful.
00:36:15.789 --> 00:36:19.869
But it's like so often we throw in the towel, we see women with that.
00:36:20.030 --> 00:36:22.670
Like menopause just does them in.
00:36:22.750 --> 00:36:25.630
And they're like, nope, I just I can't do it anymore.
00:36:25.789 --> 00:36:26.829
Screw it, you know?
00:36:26.989 --> 00:36:32.349
And they give up on their body, they give up on their health, they just accept defeat.
00:36:32.429 --> 00:36:36.269
And I'm like, but you don't do that as a mom, right?
00:36:36.590 --> 00:36:37.710
Right, you keep going.
00:36:38.190 --> 00:36:41.550
Well, it feels selfish when you take care of yourself, yeah.
00:36:41.710 --> 00:36:45.550
And view it as selfish, it's not you're right, it's not.
00:36:45.710 --> 00:36:59.389
That is the only way to create legacy and and be there for your adult children and continue to pass on and well, and and stop it because if you've got daughters or daughter-in-laws, they're watching you.
00:36:59.630 --> 00:37:04.909
So if you just lay down and die in menopause, then that's what they're gonna do because they're gonna be like, Well, that's what mom did.
00:37:05.070 --> 00:37:07.469
Yeah, yeah, and that's not what we're gonna do.
00:37:07.710 --> 00:37:08.909
We're stopping that.
00:37:09.230 --> 00:37:13.550
Okay, so Tamitha, what does legacy look like to you?
00:37:13.710 --> 00:37:17.070
Your daughters are like off doing their own thing now.
00:37:17.230 --> 00:37:21.949
You've kind of done your job raising them to an extent.
00:37:22.269 --> 00:37:24.750
What does your next season look like?
00:37:25.389 --> 00:37:26.030
Hmm.
00:37:26.829 --> 00:37:41.869
The next season looks like creating legacy for my the next generations that are coming up, my girls, they're you know, like for me, that's where people hit like that.
00:37:42.030 --> 00:37:44.349
Um they hit a stop.
00:37:44.989 --> 00:38:04.190
And it's like you have to prevail into the next season because I look at my my season, the legacy that I want to create is like um women, God can use women our age so powerfully because we have wisdom, we have knowledge, we have experience.
00:38:04.509 --> 00:38:15.389
You know, um, even if women aren't in business, it's like, you know, God will always take you to that process to get you what you need to refine your character.
00:38:15.550 --> 00:38:20.909
Like in in moms, like anybody who runs a household, you're running a business.
00:38:21.070 --> 00:38:22.590
You are running a business.
00:38:22.750 --> 00:38:26.590
So I think the two things is like learning your value.
00:38:26.750 --> 00:38:31.070
Like you have women our age have such value.
00:38:31.230 --> 00:38:33.389
I mean, we are known as experts.
00:38:34.509 --> 00:38:41.070
So the legacy I want to create for um not only my girls, but the generations to come.
00:38:41.230 --> 00:38:48.349
The first one is is that I want to break off um anything in our bloodlines, you know.
00:38:48.429 --> 00:39:07.630
I want I want to clean them up and so that my children and the generations are going that are going forth are healthy, you know, and they can live in the full assignment and they're not 40 to 50 years old just learning how to deal with people or your emotions or you know, the triggers that you have, the past.
00:39:07.789 --> 00:39:27.150
So that would be my legacy is like I want my children's level to be expedited in their 20s and 30s that they're learning, you know, so they're healthy and live in the in the abundance that God says He He has for us, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
00:39:27.630 --> 00:39:27.949
Wow.
00:39:28.110 --> 00:40:00.509
Yeah, we can absolutely pass on terrible lifestyles, um, bad habits, terrible mindset, um, financial, you know, literacy, all the problems, or we can choose to pass on breaking those change and those generational curses, and like good lifestyles and good mindset and um a strong faith and a commitment to worshiping God and being in his word.
00:40:00.909 --> 00:40:08.909
So that's what I would challenge you this week, ladies, is uh what are you passing on in your actions?
00:40:09.070 --> 00:40:15.630
Not with your not just with your words, your words are important, but your actions, like what are your children seeing?
00:40:15.869 --> 00:40:17.389
What is your community seeing?
00:40:17.550 --> 00:40:20.110
What is your spouse seeing, your friends?
00:40:20.590 --> 00:40:23.230
Um, you have so much influence.
00:40:23.389 --> 00:40:24.670
You really, really do.
00:40:24.989 --> 00:40:30.429
And you can be in a small rural town in Wyoming or in New York City.
00:40:30.670 --> 00:40:33.949
Like it is so powerful what you can do.
00:40:34.110 --> 00:40:35.869
There's no limitations.
00:40:36.269 --> 00:40:38.349
Yeah, don't let excuses stop you.
00:40:38.509 --> 00:40:42.509
And I really just encourage you to join a community of some sort.
00:40:42.590 --> 00:40:49.309
So, I mean, we have several options for you, and we would love to have you build your own business with us as in the coaching academy.
00:40:49.469 --> 00:40:50.349
Yeah, exactly.
00:40:50.829 --> 00:40:52.590
Oh, I'm hearing my sales training.
00:40:53.150 --> 00:40:55.389
I can't believe it's gonna be so good tomorrow.
00:40:55.630 --> 00:40:56.349
Let's go.
00:40:56.590 --> 00:40:58.989
Well, it won't be tomorrow because you guys aren't hearing this.
00:40:59.230 --> 00:40:59.710
Yeah, whatever.
00:40:59.789 --> 00:41:02.269
It'll be done when you hear this, but time.
00:41:02.989 --> 00:41:14.989
Um, okay, Tamitha, tell us all about Baby Riddle because your online store is so beautiful and it it's so thoughtfully done.
00:41:15.070 --> 00:41:19.789
Like you're not just throwing baby clothes up online to be sold.
00:41:19.949 --> 00:41:23.389
There is so much heart and purpose behind your business.
00:41:23.630 --> 00:41:29.550
So please share that with my listeners so that they can go experience it for themselves.
00:41:29.869 --> 00:41:30.509
Oh, yeah.
00:41:30.750 --> 00:41:35.789
Okay, so we started babyriddle.com about 15 years ago.
00:41:36.190 --> 00:41:39.710
And um talk about process.
00:41:39.789 --> 00:41:44.030
It's like, it's like I'm thankful, so thankful for all this stuff that we've been.
00:41:44.349 --> 00:41:50.590
But um, our heart is first of all, we love cute, soft clothing.
00:41:50.670 --> 00:42:10.590
We carry a lot of bamboo stuff, but like in this season, like several years ago, God started showing me that that we have access to children and what we put on our children, and that um just even like praying over the children that we that come to our site, like so.
00:42:10.670 --> 00:42:19.309
For me, God's really just been highlighting the access and the the prayers, like um, our next generations are so important.
00:42:19.389 --> 00:42:29.230
So baby riddle really comes with just the again, the legacy of what we carry on to the next generations, you know.
00:42:29.309 --> 00:42:36.829
It's like I'm gonna be praying over all those kids that and families that come into our store and shop.
00:42:37.070 --> 00:42:45.070
Um, you know, it's like there's not only you're not only buying clothes from me, but it's not a transaction to me.
00:42:45.230 --> 00:42:52.269
It's like I pray people in and um I pray over your children because they are our next generation.
00:42:52.509 --> 00:42:57.389
So my heart is the legacy that that we leave to our children.
00:42:57.469 --> 00:43:13.070
And and I just think it's so cool because that wasn't what I thought about when I started it, but like God just started really revealing to me what a great gift that we have to pray over these next generations.
00:43:13.150 --> 00:43:18.269
And I'm like, you know, um it says close your baby in scripture, you know.
00:43:18.670 --> 00:43:20.829
Like we got to be praying over these babies.
00:43:20.989 --> 00:43:27.710
So that's that's my heart at babyreal.com is the next generations coming up, protecting the innocent.
00:43:27.949 --> 00:43:29.630
Oh, I love that so much.
00:43:30.429 --> 00:43:32.750
And you have a coupon code for our listeners, right?
00:43:32.989 --> 00:43:35.389
Yes, yes, yes, I do.
00:43:35.710 --> 00:43:41.150
I'm I think I said what I think it's fat uh Faith 15.
00:43:41.469 --> 00:43:42.429
Faith 15.
00:43:42.509 --> 00:43:42.909
There we go.
00:43:43.150 --> 00:43:44.909
Faith 13, yes, I love it.
00:43:45.630 --> 00:43:47.150
We'll put it in the show notes too.
00:43:47.469 --> 00:43:48.429
Oh, thank you, thank you.
00:43:48.509 --> 00:43:50.590
I was like got a blank.
00:43:51.630 --> 00:43:52.190
Totally fine.
00:43:52.429 --> 00:43:53.469
Girl, we all been there.
00:43:53.789 --> 00:43:54.829
Oh my goodness.
00:43:55.469 --> 00:43:57.630
Okay, ladies, everybody listening.
00:43:57.869 --> 00:44:01.070
I want you to read James this week.
00:44:01.230 --> 00:44:08.750
If you can only read, you know, for a couple minutes, read James 1, 2 to 4 and just meditate on it.
00:44:08.909 --> 00:44:15.070
Think about it, ask God to talk to you and tell you what this means in your life right now.
00:44:15.469 --> 00:44:16.750
It's so fitting.
00:44:16.909 --> 00:44:21.230
It's literally what we've been talking about the past 35, 40 minutes.
00:44:21.469 --> 00:44:23.070
So I'm gonna read this.
00:44:23.389 --> 00:44:33.550
Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
00:44:34.349 --> 00:44:42.030
Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
00:44:42.829 --> 00:44:44.509
I love this scripture.
00:44:44.670 --> 00:44:55.789
It is a hard one to do, but once you finally just surrender and say, okay, I'm gonna trust that you're doing everything for my good and your glory.
00:44:55.869 --> 00:44:58.429
I'm just gonna live a Romans 8.28 life.
00:44:58.509 --> 00:44:59.710
That it is what it is.
00:44:59.869 --> 00:45:01.710
That is how I believe.
00:45:02.429 --> 00:45:10.110
This testing will produce that perseverance, and that perseverance will produce that character that Tamitha's talking about.
00:45:10.269 --> 00:45:15.150
And that is what gives you hope to continue on, to keep moving forward.
00:45:15.389 --> 00:45:17.949
And to me, like that's the arc of healing.
00:45:18.110 --> 00:45:19.070
You need hope.
00:45:19.550 --> 00:45:28.030
And so you have to shift your mindset on why things are happening to you, honestly, and trust that they're happening for you.
00:45:28.269 --> 00:45:34.110
So thank you, Tamitha, for being such a beautiful woman in my life.
00:45:34.269 --> 00:45:41.070
I'm so excited for women to know you better and to see your beautiful baby clothes.
00:45:41.230 --> 00:45:43.150
Oh my gosh, they are adorable.
00:45:43.389 --> 00:45:46.750
I just, I'm like, I need a new baby in my life.
00:45:47.869 --> 00:45:48.670
Not me personally.
00:45:48.829 --> 00:45:50.509
Yeah, I was gonna say grandbaby, right?
00:45:50.989 --> 00:45:51.789
Grand baby.
00:45:52.030 --> 00:45:53.949
But yes, I love it so much.
00:45:54.110 --> 00:45:55.869
Thank you for your time and your wisdom.
00:45:56.190 --> 00:45:57.150
It was great to meet you.
00:45:57.309 --> 00:45:57.710
Thank you.
00:45:57.949 --> 00:45:59.949
Yes, thank you guys so much.
00:46:00.110 --> 00:46:04.590
And and I I just appreciate you so much, and I appreciate what you're doing.
00:46:04.750 --> 00:46:07.230
It's people need it, women need it.
00:46:07.869 --> 00:46:08.590
Absolutely.
00:46:08.750 --> 00:46:09.550
Oh my goodness.
00:46:09.710 --> 00:46:13.230
If this episode blessed you, please share it with another woman.
00:46:13.389 --> 00:46:16.110
Share it with every woman you know.
00:46:16.670 --> 00:46:19.949
We need to create a ripple effect.
00:46:20.110 --> 00:46:24.030
We need to start lifting each other up and helping each other out.
00:46:24.190 --> 00:46:27.150
You know the women struggling in your life right now.
00:46:27.550 --> 00:46:32.989
Send them a little heart emoji and say, I thought of you when I listened to this episode.
00:46:33.150 --> 00:46:35.389
Okay, ladies, I want to hear from you.
00:46:35.550 --> 00:46:37.949
Otherwise, go be Christ's hands to serve.
00:46:38.030 --> 00:46:39.789
I'll see you next week.
00:46:44.670 --> 00:46:49.150
If you like that episode, I have one favor to ask, maybe two.
00:46:49.550 --> 00:46:53.309
Can you hit subscribe and give me a heart?
00:46:53.469 --> 00:47:01.070
I want Apple to know that this is important information to you because when we tell them that, you will get more of it.
00:47:01.230 --> 00:47:02.909
So use your voice.
00:47:03.070 --> 00:47:07.949
Hit subscribe, hit the like button, share with a friend.
00:47:08.190 --> 00:47:13.550
And the other thing, I want you to download the five day challenge and get started on it.
00:47:13.710 --> 00:47:15.230
Take imperfect action.
00:47:15.389 --> 00:47:17.630
I will see you in the Fast of Faith Sisterhood.
00:47:17.789 --> 00:47:18.750
Till next time.
