ABOUT THIS EPISODE
What do you do when a pack of 15 Dutch Shepherds starts spiralling out of control?
This week Max and Jack are joined by Ryan Keys of Ryan Keys Dog Training, who has been working with dogs since his late twenties. Ryan got a call about Dolph, a bloke with a big heart and an even bigger pack of Dutch Shepherds on a large rural property in northern New South Wales. After multiple bite incidents and growing chaos, things were heading somewhere nobody wanted them to go.
Ryan went over to see if he could help. Slowly but surely he earned the trust of the dogs and their owner, brought in structure, and began turning an unruly pack into something resembling a team.
It's a story about a situation that could have ended very differently if Dolph hadn't asked for help, and if nobody had been willing to give it. Ryan's message is simple: no situation is hopeless. Work with the dogs, build trust and put structure in place.
