ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Continuing the "Healthcare & AI" theme of our last episode with Mara Lederman, Brian speaks with Brett Belchetz, co-founder of Maple, a leading Canadian virtual healthcare platform.
Brian and Brett discuss how Brett's experiences as an emergency room doctor and challenges with the Canadian healthcare system led him to co-found Maple. They explore how Maple's "Uber-style" model works for patients and healthcare providers, and what happened during the early years of the COVID-19 pandemic. They also look at how technology and AI in particular can help alleviate some of the challenges affecting healthcare systems around the world.
Dr. Brett Belchetz is Co-Founder and CEO of Maple, one of Canada’s leading virtual healthcare platforms, and serves as Chairman of its Board.
