► Tell us about you and your podcast
I'm a retired military veteran who has been clinically dead twice and someone who makes sure to enjoy all the moments life gives me, I started my podcast in one direction and have started to pivot towards my passion and that's living life to its fullest.

► Why & how did you start this podcast?
I first started the podcast to work to help other entrepreneurs who may have been struggling to find better ways to grow their business. In my first year I grew and learned so much, then I started working towards what my heart was telling me, so I'm on this journey to let others know that they can do the same thing and follow their dreams.

► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
I release an episode once a week and I've really worked to be consistent with that, I have been working to build my home studio slowly. So the items I use for my podcast got funded over time, and now that I have reached that year mark, I am going to start looking for sponsors and investors to assist in growing. Currently I use my own funds, I wanted to ensure that I gave it my all and make sure that I was being financially responsible first.

► What do you gain from podcasting?
I do take sponsorships, so if anyone out there would like to sponsor a retired Marine who is working to show others that they can live before they die I'm open to it., I have worked to build different revenue streams with other products that I use the podcast to shed light on. So on an average at the moment I would say it's around $2500 extra with the podcast.
I have gained so many friends and networking experiences through learning to open my mouth and just let words come out.

► How does your podcasting process look like?
I have focused on continually getting better with my structure as I have used my podcast with audio mainly and video format has such an impact for me. I am an affiliate for one of the most powerful streaming services called Ecamm. It is what I use to interview my virtual guest, and I can't tell you the compliments I get on it.
My preparation for this is to meet with my guest prior to recording so they and I can get a feel and I ask them to listen or watch a past episode so they can see how I conduct the interview and helps them to feel relaxed

► How do you market your show?
My marketing Strategy has grown and I have learned one of the most important things is that I cannot wear all the hats. So I farm out my marketing, but still have knowledge of how and where it's showing up at. My main listenership comes from my podcast host and website, as I work to direct my listeners or others to those places rather than wherever you listen to your podcast at. I have come to find out that Linkedin and instagram are my most comfortable places to speak, as I go live there mostly versus recorded videos.

► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
To anyone out there looking to learn this game for real I would truly say get yourself a coach like I did, one who is where you want to be or going in that direction. Learning first hand and hands on to me has helped and don't be afraid to make mistakes.

► Where can we learn more about you & your podcasts?
You can reach me, learn more about me and everything I'm up to through my website. lionfludd.com, I also have started coaching others that want to learn, all my social accounts are the same @blknegus(Black King). My email justonequestion4you@gmail.com and if you're open to helping fund future projects my donation link if buymeacoffee.com/lionfludd, I am looking forward to hearing from everyone and if you have some stories you would like to share with me about overcoming things in life, let's see if we can get you on the show.
