You may have been told that you are easily offended or easily offend others. It can be in the form of scapegoating, ad hominum attacks or defense mechanisms that may be provoking an emotional response. However, there are a lot of social dynamics at play when such a response takes place. In this podcast episode of Epic Tea Times, I dwell and ponder about various reasons why you may be offending others or getting offended by others. This could be abusive childhood, denial, strong connections, lack of self-ownership and various personality traits that may fly under your radar. Interestingly enough, there may be quite a personality overlap between the offended and the offender.  This podcast was live streamed on YouTube with new equipment and you'll notice a huge improvement in how it sounds!

First live stream podcast! Procrastination has been demonized by society like the plague of Egypt that chows down productivity. BUT, what people don't realize is how much of a stress killer it is and can lead to intense bouts of happiness, creativity and freedom. I guess, one way to put it is that procrastination is the perfect encapsulation of the 'American Dream.' I'd like to add more description to this podcast but I'll do it later, or probably never. Cheers!

In this episode, we explore the modern projection and pursuit of the Renaissance man. This is an exploration into an alternative lifestyle choice that involves climbing the four mountains that I have(humbly) categorized: The Mind, The Body, The Spirit And The Social Accomplishment. Indulging in this lifestyle allows you to connect the dots between various fields of knowledge, experience and wisdom and express them in a practical and, hopefully, a meaningful way. This also explores accepting the 'superficial' and exploring the demonized social constructs.

In this podcast, I spend time visiting(figuratively) various parts of the world to explore four prominent festivals that have a cultural narrative attached to them and also, two of the four involve lobbing things at others, which is always a plus in my books. Specific festivals mentioned here are Holi(Spring Festival) in India, Loi Krathong(Floating Dreams) in Thailand, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in Mexico and La Tomatina (Tomato Fight) in Spain.

This is an exciting narrative(one of my favorite of all time!) in which we go back in time and look at the bloodbath and brutal Indian rebellion between the British East India Company and the rebels of the sub-continent back in 1857. We delve into why the sepoys rebelled against the Company, which areas the battles were fought and witness the aftermath between the clash of cultures, religions and ideologies. This was one of the turning points where the great Mughal Empire was completely decimated and eventually laid foundation to the reformation and separation of India and Pakistan as two individual nations. Warning: This is a dark podcast with violence so listener discretion is advised.    Article: http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/First_War_of_Indian_Independence

Well, nobody really knows exactly why two humans end up slamming their chest against each other and patting each others backs like electrified baboons but in this podcast, we discuss the etymology of hugs, who tree huggers are, what the big deal is behind 'XOXO', read the narrative of 'The Hugging Saint', the first hug machine and the advent of 'virtual hugs.' All of the context is contaminated and biased by my reprehension towards this act of endless agony. No more hugs please.  Article:  http://www.randomhistory.com/hugging-history.html

In this podcast, I talk about what Valentine's Day is, the history behind it and go through some of the facts behind this absurdly overpriced and overrated corporate profit day. We explore the criterion of becoming a saint, best gifts to give on Valentine's Day and despite everything, keep bashing this awful day for what it truly is and isn't. Happy Single's Awareness Day everyone!

Shazeen, from The People's Playground, joins us once again to discuss on the other side of the spectrum of why women are also dropping out of relationships, dating and marriages. In this highly controversial podcast, we analyze why there are less men in the dating pool now, why men are opting to stay out from marriage and commitment and why this is going to only keep going downhill from this point. We consider various factors playing a role in this decline such as the high divorce rates, technology & social media, economy, social conditioning and one of the fastest growing trend in the west among men called Men Going Their Own Way(MGTOW). This podcast touches on very sensitive topics and some of the concepts can be extremely provocative so listener discretion is advised. Then, we answer questions to a listener and conclude that a can of sardines is the best present you can give.  E-mail: [email protected]

We discuss the importance of Christmas crackers , what to do with stockings if you don't have a fireplace and deduce that Santa is an undead orc and NOT an elf. Additionally, we delve deep into the history of this white bearded creature, Rudolph being a GPS system and how different cultures have created their own version of this rockstar. This is a pretty hilarious podcast I had with Sean as we discussed interesting topics such as social introversion, thinking in two languages, yoga pants(yup!), future of the film industry, nutrition bars and then delve deep into post-election politics from the perspective of two nerds who live under a rock. This will get you cracking out laughing!
