Heaven has always been a "far place" to think about as a child. Maybe the thoughts of Heaven gave us security growing up that there is a perfect place we will all one day end up in. Like Joseph, we endure many hardships throughout our lives. However, like Joseph, we also get to enjoy His blessings. I want to be so confident in His promises for my life that I not only endure the hardships, but I stubbornly and confidently grow in my faith until I die. But they can leave my bones – I want new ones! I think this is not to be just an evening of instruction, but one of encouragement.
