Chrissy King is an online strength and conditioning coach who is helping individuals learn be there strongest self! Chrissy also is an avid written and frequently speaks about social issues especially ones regarding race and social justice. I admire her strength in the weight room but also her grace when speaking about difficult issues. Today we talked about the underrepresentation of females, and more specifically women of color, in the fitness industry and why it is important for all of us to become more aware of our subconscious messages we send out. Denzel has been a good friend of mine for the past few years and one thing I have always admired about him is his ridiculous strength while remaining so humble. Brit Rand is a personal trainer and athletic trainer who has inspired and educated me through her Instagram account, BestLifeResults. It may sound funny, but in this era, Instagram is one the quickest means of communication and super useful in getting easy nuggets of information out to coaches as well as the general public. Brit and I talk about how she got into the fitness industry and how she became the awesome heavy lifter she is today! I sit down with my friend Mike Nackoul to ask him about his career as a professional weightlifter. Mikey was a weightlifter for over a decade and and was a senior national team member. His PRs include a 150 kg (330lbs) snatch and 190 kg (419lbs)in the clean and jerk. However his knowledge of the sport and advice on training and mental toughness is what I enjoy most about talking to Mikey.

Amber has experienced a great deal of life experiences and has been tested with many life struggles. She has dealt with disorders eating, generalized anxiety and depress, PTSD from a previous attack, and autism. However she has not let any one of these things stand in her way of living her best life! Amber is an inspiration as she continues to push herself out of her comfort zone and persevere through all her struggles.
