In Episode 9 of The 506 Game, we look at some of the recent shakeups in the CFB world with the impending approval of the 24-team College Football Playoff bracket next year. We also ask ourselves how was Tom Hart's hotel breakfast so damn bad he compared it to a UNC Quarterback?
We begin the final 50 episodes of this podcast (tentatively) with a sci-fi series which started in the 1970s, was rebooted by Nickelodeon in the 1990s, and was rebooted yet again in the 2010s.  Was the third time a charm?  There must be a reason why we're covering it, besides being a CW entry.
It's been a long time coming but we finally present our show HoF Class of 2026. It's a short class of inductees this year with only seven but we feel that the inductees including our three headliners are all worthy of being with our previous inductees from past years.
ABC's TGIF block wasn't all rousing successes like Full House, Family Matters, and later Boy Meets World and Step by Step.  You had absolute failures like this entry from The Jim Henson Company, a sitcom which had Dinosaurs roots but lacked Dinosaurs' charm.  Bobut was no Baby Sinclair.
In Episode 8 of The 506 Game, Greg and Mike talk MLB playoffs, Goalie Goals and the CFB/NFL announcer slate for this week. Be warned that CBS' map for this week is out there with the gerrymandering.  As a bonus for you card fans, at 57:25 Mike busts a box of Topps Allen & Ginter 2026. Can Mike…
In Episode 2 of the SCTM, Greg and Dane looked at the first NWA-TNA Weekly PPV from 2002. A year and a half later, they look at the follow-up PPV from the following week. We have an amazing four-way match to crown the first-ever X-Division Champ and a whole lot of crap underneath. But we do get the…
In Episode 7 of The 506 Game, Mike and Greg look at the announcers from this week's MLB Wild Card series on NBC along with the CFB Announcers in Week 5, and the weirdest gerrymandered map for the NFL from FOX in the Week 4 slate. We also have Mike discuss this past week's sporting events in Clevela…
How many times have we talked about television networks trying to capitalize off of the proverbial flavor of the month?  It happened in 1982, when networks scrambled to find their Indiana Jones.  ABC went with Tales of the Gold Monkey.  CBS went with this entry, about Frank Buck, an actual animal c…
In the nicest episode of the SCTM, Greg and Dane return to 2005 WWE for Unforgiven '05 from Oklahoma City. The Invisible Man defends the WWE Title against Kurt Angle, Matt Hardy and Edge battle in a Steel Cage and can Ric Flair handle four lovely ladies in a limo in one night?
