This week’s podcast is the first in a series about titles, and how the individual titles for each episode are a crucial component of your on air offerings.  What works? Why? How do rambling, vague offerings confuse folks into inaction? Hear the fantastic headline that worked to perfection, attracting droves of highly-desirable listeners to one successful podcaster, propelling him to the top of the charts in itunes... and another absolutely horrible one, guaranteed to turn off... well, everyone except the podcasters Mom. We'll get deeper into titles in upcoming episodes. Subscribe, gorgeous goddesses,  be sure you catch the whole series.

How do you get the word out through social media? This is the question we asked Phillipa Kiripatea from www.socialdivas.com.au. Phillipa is an expert at creating social media strategies for business and helping clients to build loyal, interactive and effective communications with their audiences. It’s a real jungle out there when it comes to social media and if you are like most people looking at social media marketing you really don’t have any idea where to start. Should it be Facebook or Twitter or is LinkedIn the better option? What do you say and how often should you say it and what should be in the posts to help you to engage people, build up your listenership and create that income that allows you to live the life that you choose.

Most of you podcast because they feel it is a calling, a passion, a chance to unleash something in yourself that is craving to see the light. You have something to say and are compelled to say it, the approach is altruistic rather than motivated by money. So the big question for you, for anyone who has considered podcasting or even those already involved in podcasting is "Can I get rich, or at least pay the bills by doing the very thing that I love. Can I do this and still be true to my listeners and myself – without selling out!" Continuing on her mission to bring out the worship-worthy podcast goddess in each and every one of you, this week Podcast Goddess explores these questions.

This week as part of our undertaking to bring out the worship worthy Podcast Goddess in each and every one of you, we are talking to the eclectic and energetic Dave Jackson who is the founder and creative force behind schoolofpodcasting.com. We are so excited about talking to Dave; he is a man that is generous with the knowledge that he has gathered about podcasting since its inception in 2005 and can give advice with anything technical, to how to work out your target audience, to giving tips on how to get your podcast heard. Dave is a pioneer in the world of podcasting. He was there when it first became a blip on the Internet radar and his mission at schoolofpodcasting.com is to help new podcasters find their feet in the technical world of podcasting. This is a fantastic interview and I urge you, my wonderful Podcast Goddesses, to fix yourself a coffee and sit down and listen to this stellar information. And as Dave says, “If you shoot at perfect you may end up with really, really good."

The smartest, and most successful strategy that you can adopt with your podcasts is to relax and have fun. Yes, you heard right. It may seem like the last thing that you are able to do when you sit down in front of the microphone to record your podcast. Yet, it is the one thing that we often forget to do in the stress of the moment, trying to achieve a dream or a thousand other reasons. Maybe we get caught in indecision over the best presentation of our subject. Maybe we start second-guessing if the listeners will care about this one. Maybe we forget that we are fabulous, worthy of worship already.  The truth is we just need to celebrate our essence and let it shine through to the world.
