EP78 - Steve Sobel - Hollywood's One-Man Show

Steve Sobel broke into Hollywood by sharing his own story. He wanted to write and he wanted to act. So naturally, like everyone else in this town, he decided to do a one-man show. But unlike most of the one-man shows that you have to beg your friends to attend (he had to do that too, actually), Steve turned his into almost every opportunity he's gotten in Hollywood. One thing led to another and that one-man show was sold to Fox as the next big sitcom! Take a listen to Steve's energetic approach as he breaks down his process, nailing auditions, turning those into an alternate voice-over career, and writing (How I first met him, and how I know him, as a brilliant comedy writer). Hollywood is a tough town with lots of rules on how you should become an actor and how you should become a writer. Steve didn't follow any of those rules. And right now, many an actor or writer would kill to have the career he has had.  ***** PLEASE ENGAGE AND SUBSCRIBE Follow and like us on Facebook or Instagram You can also access all of the different apps and platforms this podcast plays on (9 in all) here: Official Podcast Page Terence Michael's book "PRODUCE YOURSELF: Apply Hollywood's Proven Formula To Become The Hero Of Your Life" is available everywhere.
