► Tell us about you and your podcast

I'm Coach SandyB, a life and accountability coach with 9O Day Wins LLC. I help individuals achieve BIG goals within 90 days through my structured coaching programs. My podcast, "90 Day Wins," focuses on goal setting strategies for personal growth, health, business and money. Each episode features insights, tips, and or interviews with guests who share their success stories and strategies for achieving goals.

► Why & how did you start this podcast?

I started the "90 Day Wins" podcast to extend my coaching philosophy to a broader audience. I wanted to share actionable strategies and inspiring stories that empower listeners to take control of their goals and achieve success. The idea came from my corporate work seeing my employees and clients transformations and realizing that more people could benefit from these insights.

► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?

Balancing time was a challenge, but I integrated podcasting into my weekly routine by setting aside specific blocks for planning, recording, and editing. Funding came from reinvesting earnings from my coaching business and leveraging cost-effective tools. I use Riverside for recording, Buzzsprout for hosting, and streamline my process to maximize efficiency.

► What do you gain from podcasting?

Podcasting has been incredibly rewarding. It allows me to reach a wider audience, share my message, and connect with inspiring individuals. It also reinforces my coaching methods and provides continuous learning opportunities as I interact with guests and listeners.

► How does your podcasting process look like?

My process begins with planning content and scheduling guests. I use a detailed outline to guide each episode, ensuring it aligns with the themes for the show. Recording sessions are followed by editing, where I ensure clarity and engagement. Finally, I prepare show notes, episode art, and promotional materials for release.

► How do you market your show?

I market my podcast through social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, email newsletters, and leveraging my existing coaching community. Collaborating with guests and other podcasters also helps in cross-promotion. Additionally, I use content from episodes to create engaging posts that drive traffic to the podcast.

► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?

For new podcasters, my advice is to start with a clear vision and be consistent. Focus on providing value to your audience, and don’t get discouraged by initial challenges. Invest in good equipment, plan your content, and continuously seek feedback. Networking with other podcasters and staying active on social media can also help grow your audience.
