At the end of SassConf 2013 in NYC, I had the amazing opportunity to sit down with the creators, maintainers and amazing minds behind Sass. Hampton Catlin, Nathan Weizenbaum and Chris Eppstein. Just to forewarn, this interview was held outside in an open space while the conf was still happening, there are a few, pretty funny, cases where blunt editing was required. Enjoy!

In this episode, we are being joined by industry mover and shaker and all around Sass enthusiast from the greater New York area, Claudina Sarahe. Claudina's current project is (powered by Sass of course). Outside of her day gig, she is also developing a startup residency program; driven by the burning question: how can we design and engineer more successful startups. Claudina is very involved in the Sass grass-roots community. In fact, I was introduced to Claudina via a common thread. We both organize and manage Sass Meetups, mine in Seattle and hers in NY. And because I assume that she isn't busy enough, between the startup residency program and the meetup, there is also enough room to start planning the first ever SassConf.

In this episode of SassCast, I try to address the topic about how to have our cake and eat it to. We want OOCSS presentational objects for easy reuse as well as semantic classes in my markup.
