00:00:28.559 --> 00:00:29.679
Hello, hello.
00:00:29.839 --> 00:00:31.199
Welcome to the Hot Switch.
00:00:31.359 --> 00:00:34.719
My name is My name is Allie Mang.
00:00:34.960 --> 00:00:37.200
And you can already hear our guest Simon Levin.
00:00:37.439 --> 00:00:39.280
And I can't wait to bring you on.
00:00:39.520 --> 00:00:45.439
Come on on, Simon, and we'll do a little bit of a where we first met, and then we must do my candle tradition.
00:00:45.679 --> 00:00:47.359
Welcome to the Hot Switch, my friend.
00:00:47.520 --> 00:00:48.000
Welcome.
00:00:48.320 --> 00:00:49.679
Oh, goodness me.
00:00:50.320 --> 00:00:51.759
What a pleasure, Allie.
00:00:52.000 --> 00:00:55.200
So appreciate having a conversation in this way.
00:00:55.359 --> 00:00:58.640
And can I just say something when before we start?
00:00:59.920 --> 00:01:09.599
I I just want to congratulate you and just am so blown away by the fact that you will you're stepping out on the skinny branches, sister.
00:01:09.760 --> 00:01:13.200
You're like, you know, putting yourself out there, that just takes something.
00:01:13.359 --> 00:01:14.079
It really does.
00:01:14.239 --> 00:01:19.519
And the fact that you are inviting me to come here and have a conversation on your show is a big honor.
00:01:19.680 --> 00:01:21.040
Thank you so much, really.
00:01:23.280 --> 00:01:23.840
Thank you.
00:01:24.400 --> 00:01:26.879
And you, Simon, you are so right.
00:01:27.040 --> 00:01:28.879
This is this is what it is.
00:01:29.040 --> 00:01:34.000
And I think that you and I have worked together on so many different occasions.
00:01:34.239 --> 00:01:40.319
And I know right now we're working again together, which I am loving and so appreciate the opportunity.
00:01:40.560 --> 00:01:55.439
But you know, if we if we have the courage to walk out, as you said, and we're gonna talk about that because that is absolutely part of um the essence of who you are walking out on those tiny branches, but having the courage, and I'm gonna tell you something.
00:01:55.680 --> 00:01:59.599
Today I was nervous about the show.
00:01:59.760 --> 00:02:05.840
We had two shows back to back, and I just thought, oh my God, I'm like we all go through that.
00:02:06.079 --> 00:02:14.560
And the idea then is just to get centered and realize that wonderful things are taking place right now, and we're right in the middle of it.
00:02:14.639 --> 00:02:17.120
And with that in mind, that is my segue.
00:02:17.280 --> 00:02:19.439
I start every show lighting a candle.
00:02:19.520 --> 00:02:24.159
At some point, we're gonna have a sponsor that brings us fabulous candles, don't you think, Victor?
00:00:00.239 --> 00:00:08.960

00:00:28.559 --> 00:00:29.679
Hello, hello.
00:00:29.839 --> 00:00:31.199
Welcome to the Hot Switch.
00:00:31.359 --> 00:00:34.719

00:00:45.679 --> 00:00:47.359
Welcome to the Hot Switch, my friend.
00:00:47.520 --> 00:00:48.000
Welcome.
00:00:48.320 --> 00:00:49.679
Oh, goodness me.
00:00:50.320 --> 00:00:51.759
What a pleasure, Allie.
00:00:52.000 --> 00:00:55.200
So appreciate having a conversation in this way.
00:00:55.359 --> 00:00:58.640

00:00:59.920 --> 00:01:09.599

00:01:09.760 --> 00:01:13.200

00:01:13.359 --> 00:01:14.079
It really does.
00:01:14.239 --> 00:01:19.519
And the fact that you are inviting me to come here and have a conversation on your show is a big honor.
00:01:19.680 --> 00:01:21.040
Thank you so much, really.
00:01:23.280 --> 00:01:23.840
Thank you.
00:01:24.400 --> 00:01:26.879
And you, Simon, you are so right.
00:01:27.040 --> 00:01:28.879

00:01:55.680 --> 00:01:59.599
Today I was nervous about the show.
00:01:59.760 --> 00:02:05.840
We had two shows back to back, and I just thought, oh my God, I'm like we all go through that.
00:02:06.079 --> 00:02:14.560
And the idea then is just to get centered and realize that wonderful things are taking place right now, and we're right in the middle of it.
00:02:14.639 --> 00:02:17.120
And with that in mind, that is my segue.
00:02:17.280 --> 00:02:19.439
I start every show lighting a candle.
00:02:19.520 --> 00:02:24.159
At some point, we're gonna have a sponsor that brings us fabulous candles, don't you think, Victor?
00:02:27.120 --> 00:02:36.400
This represents the power that wonderful things, good things are happening right now, even if maybe it doesn't seem that way, or you're not seeing things move as quickly.
00:02:36.879 --> 00:02:45.840
Patience and remember, we're gonna keep this candle on the whole time as a representative of that great, honest truth.
00:02:47.039 --> 00:02:50.719
So, Simon, do you remember the first time we met?
00:02:50.879 --> 00:02:59.520
We were working together trying to bring um a polar tech, a beautiful fleece, making a fleece sheet set for TSE.
00:02:59.599 --> 00:03:00.800
Do you remember that?
00:03:01.120 --> 00:03:02.159
Yeah, sure do.
00:03:02.400 --> 00:03:03.199
Sure do.
00:03:03.520 --> 00:03:08.479
It was uh uh meeting a superstar for the first time.
00:03:09.360 --> 00:03:09.840
Wow.
00:03:10.000 --> 00:03:11.759
Wow, you're you're forward today.
00:03:11.840 --> 00:03:12.560
Good God.
00:03:14.400 --> 00:03:16.479
Yeah, I remember it was amazing.
00:03:16.560 --> 00:03:26.080
You know, what was so good about it is there are times where you just connect with people and you know that those people are going to be around in your life sometime just because of how the conversation went.
00:03:26.159 --> 00:03:29.439
It was like we'd known each other forever, even though we've met for the first time.
00:03:30.400 --> 00:03:40.400
Yeah, and I remember one of the things, because you were um meeting with our buying team as well, and um and I was so excited, just the name of Polar Tech was just like, oh my gosh.
00:03:40.479 --> 00:03:45.439
And um, anyway, as it turned out, it didn't work that time, which happens, right?
00:03:45.599 --> 00:03:46.879
This is the reality.
00:03:47.120 --> 00:03:51.599
But as you just said, what we did is there's a relationship, there's a trust.
00:03:51.680 --> 00:04:17.839
And one of the things that stuck out to me even back then was your vast knowledge of industry, of processes, um, and and just this coupled with almost an engineer's like uh process, coupled with this tremendous amount of um just global knowledge of what's happening in the world, and then the empathy for the human being.
00:04:18.000 --> 00:04:19.920
I mean, that is U to a T.
00:04:20.399 --> 00:04:22.639
And may I just share a few things?
00:04:23.040 --> 00:04:23.920
You're welcome.
00:04:24.160 --> 00:04:24.800
May I shoot?
00:04:25.040 --> 00:04:30.480
I'm gonna share a couple of things um about your bio because I always, you know, we always work hard on the bio, right?
00:04:30.560 --> 00:04:33.759
What is how can I represent myself?
00:04:34.240 --> 00:04:38.959
So here are just a few points because there are both two sides.
00:04:39.040 --> 00:04:44.879
Uh so we'll we'll talk about the the brand strategist and the salesman on the first side.
00:04:45.839 --> 00:04:51.680
You strive to transform how people are operating in their own work environments.
00:04:51.920 --> 00:04:55.199
You're a brand developer and a safety leader.
00:04:55.360 --> 00:04:56.319
I love that.
00:04:56.879
--> 00:05:08.319
Leveraging two and a half decades of expertise to deliver comfortable and cutting-edge solutions, revolutionizing workforce attire and enhancing productivity.
00:05:09.839 --> 00:05:25.839
My primary objective is to ensure the well-being of personnel in demanding environments by implementing new garment technology, effective protocols, and cultivating a safety culture that promotes both productivity and protection.
00:05:25.920 --> 00:05:26.879
Now, that's one side.
00:05:26.959 --> 00:05:31.920
We're gonna talk about the other side of your profession, but wow, that's so cool.
00:05:32.000 --> 00:05:33.439
That's exactly what I was talking about.
00:05:33.600 --> 00:05:35.199
That was the Simon I met.
00:05:36.160 --> 00:05:37.839
Wow, yeah, thank you.
00:05:39.199 --> 00:05:44.720
You know, it's uh there's so much about that.
00:05:46.160 --> 00:05:50.879
That's also not so much about who I am anymore.
00:05:51.199 --> 00:05:54.480
You know, I'm beginning to learn that that's just a lot about what I do.
00:05:55.040 --> 00:05:57.839
You know, things are evolving, things are changing.
00:05:59.199 --> 00:06:03.360
I couldn't agree more, and I think that that's one of the things, you know.
00:06:03.680 --> 00:06:06.879
Remember, I'm gonna say 15 years ago.
00:06:07.040 --> 00:06:12.959
Um, it seems like yesterday, but it probably was, where the resume had only a few things.
00:06:13.120 --> 00:06:17.839
And when you sat in front, for me it was the acting business, which was different.
00:06:18.000 --> 00:06:20.000
The more credits we had, the better.
00:06:20.160 --> 00:06:25.040
Um, directors were able to look at the other directors that you worked for, the other films that you did.
00:06:25.199 --> 00:06:30.639
So for us as entrepreneurs and performers, having a big long resume of all the stuff was a help.
00:06:30.879 --> 00:06:34.319
But 15 years ago, it was people started judging you quickly.
00:06:34.399 --> 00:06:36.800
What do you mean you've worked for seven different companies?
00:06:36.879 --> 00:06:40.160
Do you have ADHD or you can you not keep a job down?
00:06:40.399 --> 00:06:47.199
But I remember years ago, my dad said the thing is that's going to happen in the future is um we won't have jobs.
00:06:47.360 --> 00:06:48.720
We will be doing jobs.
00:06:48.959 --> 00:06:52.560
And every moment will earn its next moment.
00:06:52.639 --> 00:07:01.439
And so, like I always talk about, you know, the the secret behind the game face is the totality of everything that brought you right here today.
00:07:01.519 --> 00:07:03.519
And and what you've said is exactly true.
00:07:03.680 --> 00:07:14.319
Well, I have to go back to 2020 when I created a book with over 80 people in four different countries finding the light.
00:07:14.399 --> 00:07:19.040
I'll just show you the clip and then I'm gonna highlight Simon, who participated in that book.
00:07:20.560 --> 00:07:27.199
We came together to share and to document the thoughts of over 70 people throughout North America and Australia.
00:07:27.439 --> 00:07:31.120
We all need to be heard, and our stories need to be shared.
00:07:31.279 --> 00:07:36.480
We did this through a series of Zoom interviews that became the basis of this collection of essays.
00:07:36.720 --> 00:07:44.079
This rich resource shares stories, poetry, and breathtaking photos of the world in lockdown.
00:07:44.480 --> 00:07:55.680
The thread of love and humanity binds this book to give us all the strength and the comfort we need in order to rise today and every day.
00:08:04.480 --> 00:08:05.120
Nice.
00:08:05.360 --> 00:08:06.240
Thank you, Victor.
00:08:06.480 --> 00:08:07.759
So brilliant.
00:08:08.560 --> 00:08:09.199
So brilliant.
00:08:09.360 --> 00:08:18.480
Allie, you know, the fact that in the time that it took you to really, you know, that's just sometimes it's almost leaves one speechless.
00:08:18.639 --> 00:08:35.919
The amount that it takes to enroll people and the people you know and the people you reach out to, to put a project like that together and make it happen in the short space of time that you had, and uh, and and to do it where the world was really in turmoil, really in turmoil.
00:08:36.000 --> 00:08:40.879
And you found that little nugget of goodness from everyone was was really spectacular.
00:08:41.039 --> 00:08:43.600
It's quite an honor to be part of that conversation.
00:08:44.559 --> 00:08:48.799
Well, I thank you, and it was an honor to have you as it is here today.
00:08:49.039 --> 00:08:51.039
Here was Simon's and his power.
00:08:51.120 --> 00:08:54.799
I asked everyone to give me, whoops, their power word.
00:08:55.120 --> 00:08:57.279
I'm still trying to figure out how to do this.
00:08:57.440 --> 00:08:58.000
There we go.
00:08:58.159 --> 00:08:58.799
Yeah, there you go.
00:08:58.879 --> 00:09:01.200
At least you're recreating yourself again.
00:09:02.080 --> 00:09:04.559
There, exactly.
00:09:05.120 --> 00:09:14.559
And I and I gotta tell you, so my message to all of us is let's not be bogged down with all the negativity, all the change that we're confronting.
00:09:14.799 --> 00:09:20.639
Yes, change exposes us our weaknesses and challenges us out of our comfort zones.
00:09:20.799 --> 00:09:26.080
Don't let that stop you from seeing new possibilities to help you stay in the game.
00:09:26.159 --> 00:09:32.159
Let's get out there on those skinny branches and use this time to reinvent ourselves.
00:09:32.320 --> 00:09:33.519
Let's recreate.
00:09:33.600 --> 00:09:34.879
That's you, Simon.
00:09:35.120 --> 00:09:42.960
Amazing! So tell me, what does recreate mean?
00:09:43.120 --> 00:09:51.039
I mean, I know you are going through your own recreation right now, and we're gonna talk about you moving into being a coach.
00:09:51.200 --> 00:09:54.240
And you know, everyone says coach, but we're gonna talk about that.
00:09:54.399 --> 00:10:07.120
But you know, when have you decided, when did you decide or what are the signs for you that it's time for me to just start recreating and adding to the bigger list?
00:10:10.480 --> 00:10:12.080
Yeah, you know, I do well.
00:10:14.559 --> 00:10:15.840
It's a good question.
00:10:16.240 --> 00:10:30.000
When I when I think about it and I look at it, um the first thing that comes up for me is you know, it's very much it's very much about your values and where you want to go in the world and what the future looks like for you.
00:10:30.480 --> 00:10:39.919
And I think uh, you know, I spent a lot of my life just going with the flow and existing and enjoying uh, you know, whatever just comes at me.
00:10:40.080 --> 00:10:50.960
But as I got older and as I evolved and as I went through, you know, like we all do, we go through these things in our lives where we have experiences that uh number one embrace us and then number two take us down.
00:10:51.200 --> 00:11:02.240
And I'm I think every time there was something that I was creating and then I faltered, you know, those were the times that they were my biggest learnings.
00:11:02.399 --> 00:11:24.159
And in those biggest learnings, it was time to recreate myself, you know, creating a business that was 17 years old and um losing it, you know, employing that amount of people and um having something that had me go and be in an environment every day, all of a sudden just disappeared.
00:11:24.320 --> 00:11:29.519
The world changed, my life changed, and when your life changes, you're left with, well, so what's next?
00:11:30.960 --> 00:11:46.000
And then you have choice, you know, you can either go uh you know, curl up in a ball, suck your thumb and go mama, or you you stand up, you know, you take a good look, you you recreate yourself and you move on.
00:11:46.159 --> 00:11:59.039
And I I I've done that multiple times in my life and had some seriously big losses, not just in business, but personally too, with you know, friends and family who leave this earth, and you know, there's things that really take you out.
00:11:59.279 --> 00:12:09.919
But uh your current circumstances or my I I've always been a believer that your uh your circumstances and what's really happening now is so temporary, nothing is really forever.
00:12:10.240 --> 00:12:11.600
So it's up for me to change it.
00:12:11.679 --> 00:12:12.639
And I think that's where it is.
00:12:12.720 --> 00:12:16.480
I don't know if that answers the question, but that's what it is for me.
00:12:17.759 --> 00:12:21.759
You know, it's perfect, and what keeps on coming back to me is legacy.
00:12:21.919 --> 00:12:23.600
You know, what is our life for?
00:12:23.679 --> 00:12:32.320
And I always think of Mark Twain's quote the two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why.
00:12:34.480 --> 00:12:54.639
And um I just love that quote, and I think that's what you're saying, you know, and sometimes, well, always it's okay to go and curl up and say, Mama, as you said, that is okay too, because it's part of the recovery part of the pattern change or the shock that happens.
00:12:54.799 --> 00:13:08.720
So, you know, it's an all-or-welcome, wherever you are moment and environment that I think gives us the courage to deal with the fears and and such, so we can kind of, you know, poke our head out and come out.
00:13:08.879 --> 00:13:23.279
And you know, I love when we work together on something, the vulnerability um that that you show I guess we all show when we're ready to make a change.
00:13:23.440 --> 00:13:28.799
I think there's a really important point of of that pivot that we have to just say, okay, you know what?
00:13:28.879 --> 00:13:30.399
I have no idea what I'm doing.
00:13:30.799 --> 00:13:32.799
I am going and I'm gonna run.
00:13:32.879 --> 00:13:35.200
I'm gonna run there as fast as I can.
00:13:35.759 --> 00:13:37.919
Or take big steps.
00:13:39.200 --> 00:13:42.080
I don't even think you have to know what you're doing, Ellie.
00:13:42.240 --> 00:13:46.559
I think what's more important is about you just need to have some direction about where you want to go.
00:13:46.799 --> 00:13:50.960
And then not be, you know, just don't be so concerned about how it's working out.
00:13:51.360 --> 00:14:08.000
And if you're not, if you're not just really creating a uh a habit for yourself where you're just taking small steps on a daily basis, you know, I I think one of the things that I learned is like, why haven't I gotten to where I want to get to right away?
00:14:08.080 --> 00:14:09.840
And how come it's not happening for me?
00:14:10.000 --> 00:14:20.480
You know, then when I just sort of would calm down and take a look, and then so you know, so often I would look at uh, okay, well, why don't you take a look about, let's just look two months back.
00:14:20.639 --> 00:14:22.559
Where were you and what's happening now?
00:14:22.799 --> 00:14:29.360
And you, wow, when you really take a good look, you can see that there's those minute, small incremental changes that have been going on.
00:14:29.519 --> 00:14:31.360
And I think we spend so much time.
00:14:31.600 --> 00:14:32.399
Well, I do.
00:14:32.639 --> 00:14:35.440
I used to spend so much time going, well, when is it?
00:14:35.600 --> 00:14:36.000
When is it?
00:14:36.080 --> 00:14:36.639
Why isn't it?
00:14:36.720 --> 00:14:37.360
Why isn't it?
00:14:37.519 --> 00:14:41.519
And now I spend a whole lot more time going, oh wow, thankful for that.
00:14:41.679 --> 00:14:42.639
Look how that happened.
00:14:42.799 --> 00:14:45.519
Wow, I had no idea that person would show up in my world.
00:14:45.600 --> 00:14:50.240
And the only way things will show up in my world is because I'm actually moving somewhere.
00:14:50.320 --> 00:14:51.679
I'm on the direction somewhere.
00:14:51.919 --> 00:14:57.360
So having purpose, yeah, it's a that's a big thing for me, really is.
00:14:57.440 --> 00:14:59.039
So I don't have to know where to go.
00:14:59.279 --> 00:14:59.919
Really don't.
00:15:00.000 --> 00:15:03.200
I just trust, trust, also learned that.
00:15:03.360 --> 00:15:06.320
Big, big, big, big, big conversation from you right now.
00:15:06.799 --> 00:15:09.679
Oh, I so agree with you.
00:15:09.919 --> 00:15:20.159
And you know, um, when we we uh like good friends, like good colleagues, the trust, of course, is there, but we sort of come in and out of each other's lives.
00:15:20.320 --> 00:15:35.840
And just recently, um, I hadn't spoken to Simon in quite some time, and um, he sent me a note, and all he said was, Hey, I'm noticing you're changing things up, your branding and your this and you're that.
00:15:36.080 --> 00:15:37.919
I know how much work that takes.
00:15:38.240 --> 00:15:39.039
Good on you.
00:15:39.120 --> 00:15:40.240
Let's chat soon.
00:15:40.480 --> 00:15:42.799
And that was, I think, on LinkedIn.
00:15:43.120 --> 00:15:47.679
And um, it was just, it was just exactly the thing I needed to hear.
00:15:47.759 --> 00:15:55.600
And of course, we got back working together again and and and exploring and learning so much about just, you know, where we are in life.
00:15:55.679 --> 00:15:56.159
It's great.
00:15:56.320 --> 00:15:58.399
Now, listen, we're gonna have to take a quick break.
00:15:58.559 --> 00:16:04.399
We're gonna come back, but before we do, how can people find you, Simon?
00:16:04.639 --> 00:16:13.360
Because uh your business that you're doing now and the other business that you founded, which we'll talk about on the other side of this, how can they find you?
00:16:14.960 --> 00:16:21.360
Well, that's an interesting question, just because I'm in this really amazing, interesting place of complete revamp.
00:16:21.919 --> 00:16:43.919
But you know, LinkedIn is where it's all going to begin because I'm going to concentrate and have everything come out from there because the website is being redesigned and the coaching environments being designed, and um I'm just going in a completely different direction because I actually, to be honest, have not been on social media very much.
00:16:44.159 --> 00:16:49.600
I try as much as I can to stay off it because I was on it and I got sucked in on it.
00:16:49.840 --> 00:16:56.639
And I'm finding that if I take myself away from it a little bit, I actually get a little bit more done.
00:16:56.799 --> 00:17:00.799
But I'm also clear that this is the world that we live in right now.
00:17:00.879 --> 00:17:09.279
And when you want to evolve and create and get connected, uh, there's something about social media that you really have to get connected with.
00:17:09.440 --> 00:17:15.519
So I'm revamping it so that when I do have additional places you can find me.
00:17:15.839 --> 00:17:19.599
Um, the structure really is there for what I said I want to create for myself.
00:17:19.680 --> 00:17:21.279
So it's coming, it's coming.
00:17:21.440 --> 00:17:23.599
But LinkedIn page, Simon Levin.
00:17:24.240 --> 00:17:30.319
And also one of the companies that I work with with my partner is called Dahoko.
00:17:30.640 --> 00:17:35.039
So www.dehoco.com.
00:17:35.200 --> 00:17:39.119
And you can look at what we do and the things we do in that company too.
00:17:39.680 --> 00:17:40.480
Wonderful.
00:17:40.720 --> 00:17:42.960
We'll be right back with Simon Levin.
00:17:44.160 --> 00:17:45.519
Allie Mang here.
00:17:45.759 --> 00:17:54.720
Of all the people that could have been chosen, designer Anna Lucia Beltram asked me to host her live worldwide launch last year of her newest product.
00:17:55.039 --> 00:18:01.599
The world's first non-toxic luxury jewelry cleaner, safe for gold, silver, diamonds, and even pearls.
00:18:01.920 --> 00:18:06.880
Anna Lucia is the founder of the world's first designer lab grown diamond brand.
00:18:07.119 --> 00:18:11.680
Her entire brand is sustainable luxury, ethically made at prices that make sense.
00:18:11.839 --> 00:18:15.680
Her pieces have been featured in Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee album.
00:18:15.920 --> 00:18:21.599
I'm proud to call her my friend, and even more proud to stand behind what she is building for today's women.
00:18:22.000 --> 00:18:25.440
For 15 years, I sold products all over the world on live shopping.
00:18:25.599 --> 00:18:28.000
Hundreds have approached me to talk up their products.
00:18:28.160 --> 00:18:29.759
I've said yes to a handful.
00:18:29.920 --> 00:18:34.559
Anna Lucia Diamonds and her entire company is one of them.
00:18:35.839 --> 00:18:37.759
It's time to switch it up.
00:18:39.200 --> 00:18:41.359
Something from the desk of.
00:18:43.039 --> 00:18:46.000
Yay! Something from the desk of.
00:18:46.079 --> 00:18:47.200
It's my favorite.
00:18:49.759 --> 00:18:52.000
It's my favorite part of the show.
00:18:52.480 --> 00:18:56.720
I mean, you just never smile, you're just never excited about anything, are you?
00:19:00.000 --> 00:19:00.960
Oh gosh.
00:19:01.119 --> 00:19:05.279
Well, listen, if you're not having fun, then nobody else is gonna be having fun.
00:19:05.440 --> 00:19:06.480
That's for done sure.
00:19:07.440 --> 00:19:09.519
And you can't fake that stuff, right?
00:19:09.680 --> 00:19:12.319
I mean, I guess people do, but I turn off very quickly.
00:19:12.480 --> 00:19:19.599
So listen, something from the desk of share, what's going on on your inspiring you?
00:19:20.079 --> 00:19:21.680
Something on the desk of.
00:19:21.839 --> 00:19:24.400
Well, you know, you want me to show you something that I have?
00:19:24.559 --> 00:19:27.440
I mean, I have three of them here, but I always have.
00:19:27.920 --> 00:19:31.519
Uh, you know, this uh it's all about family.
00:19:31.680 --> 00:19:33.359
Now, how do I how do I move this?
00:19:33.599 --> 00:19:35.039
You're doing well, come back.
00:19:35.359 --> 00:19:36.799
This is a delay, I guess, right?
00:19:36.880 --> 00:19:38.880
There's a it's just a one-second delay.
00:19:39.039 --> 00:19:39.599
There you go.
00:19:40.000 --> 00:19:40.559
You got it.
00:19:41.440 --> 00:20:01.359
Yeah, this is such a, you know, my son Mason and my lovely wife, Vicky, and they're always on my desk as a as a reminder, you know, that without family, uh, you know, there's a lot that would be missing in my life if I didn't have those two incredible people and look at what they do and who they are.
00:20:01.519 --> 00:20:07.279
And so many people say to me, What an incredible young man I have as a son.
00:20:07.440 --> 00:20:11.759
And, you know, not touting my own home, but you know what's so great about it when they tell me that?
00:20:11.839 --> 00:20:14.000
And he is a beautiful human being, and I do love him.
00:20:14.079 --> 00:20:26.960
And of course I love my wife too, but you know, when I when I look at Mason, my son, and I see who he is in the world, and so many people come up to me and tell me just what an incredible human being he is.
00:20:27.039 --> 00:20:32.559
And you know what's so amazing is that he doesn't do anything incredible, that there's all these things that he's done.
00:20:32.640 --> 00:20:34.880
It's just so much more about who he's being.
00:20:35.039 --> 00:20:48.480
And then I look at his mom and I and I go, wow, you know, it's not that we turned him out that way because there's so much about on the walk of life that he gets impacted by that we have no idea about.
00:20:48.799 --> 00:20:56.559
But we created the foundation, and that gives me a lot of joy that we had no idea, but we turned it out.
00:20:56.640 --> 00:21:01.680
But it's such a parallel to life to not knowing and then turning stuff out.
00:21:01.839 --> 00:21:04.559
So, yeah, they're always a reminder on my desk.
00:21:05.599 --> 00:21:07.920
That's just that's perfect.
00:21:08.079 --> 00:21:09.039
I love that.
00:21:09.599 --> 00:21:11.920
Um, you know, it's interesting.
00:21:12.079 --> 00:21:18.640
You you you talk about being a parent and raising and you know, you know, saying that you're totally revamping things.
00:21:18.720 --> 00:21:28.400
And it seems to me that that's part of, you know, the fact that, you know, there's a segue to you becoming a leadership coach, a life coach.
00:21:28.640 --> 00:21:34.079
It's just, it's like, seems like you've been preparing for that your entire life, it seems.
00:21:34.319 --> 00:21:37.599
And um, so this is your other hat that you're talking about.
00:21:37.680 --> 00:21:40.880
And I want to talk about it because I'm so proud of you.
00:21:41.039 --> 00:21:42.640
I think it's absolutely correct.
00:21:42.799 --> 00:21:46.880
And as you well know, um, you've been my coach.
00:21:47.119 --> 00:21:49.759
And I just want to send it right back to you.
00:21:49.920 --> 00:21:55.920
And I want to just say, holy moly, you've been such a lighthouse to me.
00:21:56.079 --> 00:21:58.240
And I know that's part of your branding.
00:21:58.400 --> 00:21:59.519
Uh, but when we started.
00:22:00.160 --> 00:22:03.920
Was probably in your mind, but you weren't necessarily putting it out there.
00:22:04.319 --> 00:22:19.359
But having somebody to just sit and listen and then come in at an appropriate part of that dia tribe, whatever emotion we've got going that day, there's nothing like it.
00:22:19.519 --> 00:22:26.319
And um, I've grown up with coaches as a competitive athlete and you know, with directors and and producers my whole life.
00:22:26.559 --> 00:22:30.640
So it you always need somebody, you need an outside eye.
00:22:30.799 --> 00:22:35.680
Because you can't do it all yourself, particularly if you're a creative person, but that's true for anybody.
00:22:35.839 --> 00:22:38.400
But let me share a little bit about your bio as a coach.
00:22:38.480 --> 00:22:40.240
I'm gonna have to put my specs back on.
00:22:40.400 --> 00:22:42.559
Oh, I just found out I'm getting new glasses.
00:22:42.640 --> 00:22:43.920
I'm very excited about that.
00:22:44.160 --> 00:22:44.480
Okay.
00:22:45.279 --> 00:22:45.839
Simon.
00:22:46.880 --> 00:22:47.519
Yeah.
00:22:48.079 --> 00:22:50.799
The outcome is not a life without storms.
00:22:50.960 --> 00:22:58.559
The outcome is becoming the kind of person who can stand steady, see clearly, and navigate powerfully through them.
00:22:58.720 --> 00:23:03.200
And I love this part about your development of coach.
00:23:03.359 --> 00:23:08.319
You know, my clients might be asking, is this still the life I want?
00:23:08.559 --> 00:23:10.720
What matters most to me now?
00:23:11.039 --> 00:23:13.839
How do I lead with more authenticity?
00:23:14.079 --> 00:23:16.480
How do I make better decisions under pressure?
00:23:16.640 --> 00:23:20.400
How do I stop reacting to life and start choosing my direction?
00:23:20.559 --> 00:23:25.119
And how do I become more fulfilled, not just more successful?
00:23:26.160 --> 00:23:27.039
Love it.
00:23:30.319 --> 00:23:31.279
I love it.
00:23:32.720 --> 00:23:35.200
Anything to say to that before we move on?
00:23:36.319 --> 00:23:36.880
Ah, right.
00:23:37.200 --> 00:23:37.519
Sorry.
00:23:37.599 --> 00:23:40.400
I I I thought there was going to be a question.
00:23:40.640 --> 00:23:43.440
Um, there's oh, there's gonna be a question.
00:23:43.680 --> 00:23:45.039
There's gonna be a question.
00:23:45.279 --> 00:23:46.000
Oh my goodness.
00:23:46.960 --> 00:23:50.640
Um yeah, yeah.
00:23:50.880 --> 00:23:59.359
You know, there's so there's so much to say, but just like you, you know, you're out there.
00:23:59.440 --> 00:24:04.880
I've always wanted to be um an orator, somebody who can share.
00:24:05.039 --> 00:24:11.839
Um, and I've always sat around and I've always thought, well, you know, I don't really who's who's gonna listen to me?
00:24:12.000 --> 00:24:26.160
What what are we really I have to say is as anybody else that's out there when you look at what people are exposed to in the world and the amazing and crazy things that people are doing in the world today, we're just a speck of dust and this massive uh uh beak sand.
00:24:26.400 --> 00:25:03.839
But I I thought that that because I I'd been through these roller coasters of building a business from nothing, coming from not even knowing how to make a garment, actually being restaurant chained trained, and then having three factories and building for Lululemon and Octaryx and Mountain Cook and Co-op and all of these big brands, and then losing the company and recreating it, and losing that company again and recreating it, and all the way along the way, learning what it was like to fight and what it was like to trust, and what it was like to recreate, and what it was like to believe, and what it was like to mind your language, and all this stuff.
00:25:03.920 --> 00:25:19.039
And then I was like, these are the lessons of life, and it's not like I want to share this and stand on a stage and go, look at Simon, he knows so much, but it was really more about some of the experiences that we all have, we should share.
00:25:19.200 --> 00:25:23.440
There's so much that we all have about our lives and what we've been through.
00:25:23.519 --> 00:25:30.240
We don't have to be famous and profiled and out there in the world, but everyone goes through the world and fights and climbs.
00:25:30.480 --> 00:25:36.160
And we should all have the opportunity to be able to stand on a soapbox and share that.
00:25:36.400 --> 00:25:45.920
Now, it's changed for me because I couldn't figure out how do I get to be that person who stands on the stage.
00:25:46.000 --> 00:25:54.160
And I thought, you know, the thing that impacts me more than anything else right now is or that resonates is really how do I make a difference?
00:25:54.319 --> 00:25:55.359
What does that look like?
00:25:55.920 --> 00:26:01.839
Because I I looked at my company and I saw how my choices were based on how much money I was making.
00:26:01.920 --> 00:26:09.519
And then when I looked at those choices and how those choices had no integrity because they were all governed by how much, things failed.
00:26:09.759 --> 00:26:16.319
And everything that I've moved on and recreated for myself in my life has always been about how do I make a difference.
00:26:16.559 --> 00:26:18.079
You know, the money comes after that.
00:26:18.160 --> 00:26:19.279
You don't have to worry about it.
00:26:19.359 --> 00:26:21.680
You know, yes, money's important, we've got to survive.
00:26:21.839 --> 00:26:28.960
But, you know, the things that I want to create and the things I want to do and the people that I want to impact come from a foundation of making a difference.
00:26:29.119 --> 00:26:34.400
And so in the world of coach, there's so little empathy in the world.
00:26:34.559 --> 00:26:40.559
You know, our vibration is moving so fast that everybody's running and nobody's listening.
00:26:40.880 --> 00:26:53.359
And just really, you know, yes, there's a major design, and there's so many people out there about coaching and want to make a difference, and having an advice hat on and saying you should do this and look at how I don't want to do that anymore.
00:26:53.519 --> 00:27:02.880
I actually just want to sit and I just want to be that person who can hear what you're saying and just have you hear yourself said back to you.
00:27:03.039 --> 00:27:05.680
And the difference that that makes is huge.
00:27:06.960 --> 00:27:07.599
Wow.
00:27:09.279 --> 00:27:16.319
See, ladies and gentlemen, this is the coach that I get to work with, and that is amazing.
00:27:16.480 --> 00:27:17.680
Thank you so much for that.
00:27:17.839 --> 00:27:19.599
And you know, it's interesting.
00:27:19.839 --> 00:27:26.960
There there is such an arc when we really kind of come, we sort of go, oh my God, I don't know what I am doing.
00:27:27.119 --> 00:27:31.119
I thought I did, and I love doing this, and I love it, but I don't have a clue.
00:27:31.279 --> 00:27:42.160
And I know I need to, and you know, the way I came to you, um, I I had, you know, my outer shell was all very well manicured and poised and all that stuff.
00:27:42.480 --> 00:27:54.640
But soon, with the sense of comfort, um, you know, it turned and there I was in tears and and letting go.
00:27:54.960 --> 00:28:10.160
And so when you work with a coach that you really trust, that you understand they've been there, um, they understand that the road let it's not easy and all of those things, you know.
00:28:10.799 --> 00:28:15.519
I I really believe in finding the right coach for yourself.
00:28:15.759 --> 00:28:32.640
I have had many in my life in the sense of in the same realm as you, Simon, um, where you're dishing out lots of money and you're just not getting, it's not about the money, but it is when you don't feel you're getting the return.
00:28:33.200 --> 00:28:35.680
And that is the real difference.
00:28:35.920 --> 00:28:50.799
When you feel that you're growing and you feel like you've got more courage and you wake up a little bit more as opposed to or um, you know that you it's about combinations of people.
00:28:50.960 --> 00:28:54.559
I always talk about, you know, with companies, it's the pep.
00:28:54.640 --> 00:28:59.279
And Victor, you're gonna laugh because you're you're you're all about acremons, I know.
00:28:59.680 --> 00:29:08.640
But people and the right people combinations create an environment that's winning, that's inspiring, that's flowy, that allows everybody to be seen.
00:29:08.799 --> 00:29:18.720
And from that people environment, it creates performance, whatever that performance is, sales, uh, more marketing, better, more sticky, all that stuff.
00:29:18.880 --> 00:29:22.559
But you need to have the right combination of those factors.
00:29:22.720 --> 00:29:27.279
And Simon, you have brought so much joy and just, you know, challenge.
00:29:27.359 --> 00:29:31.920
Uh uh, you scare me half to death lots of times when you bring it in, but it all comes from love.
00:29:32.000 --> 00:29:34.079
And it also, I have to step up to the plate.
00:29:34.160 --> 00:29:35.359
You know, that's part of it.
00:29:35.519 --> 00:29:38.640
We're gonna change directions now, if that's okay.
00:29:41.680 --> 00:29:42.319
Let's go.
00:29:42.640 --> 00:29:45.680
Allie's performance tip of the day.
00:29:47.839 --> 00:29:51.359
We're gonna do one-minute tips, and my countdown is already on.
00:29:51.680 --> 00:29:53.039
Simon, you're gonna go next.
00:29:53.519 --> 00:29:53.680
Okay.
00:29:54.000 --> 00:29:56.079
So, this is what I want to talk about.
00:29:56.480 --> 00:29:56.960
Yeah.
00:29:57.279 --> 00:30:02.960
The long-term process of achieving success, whatever success means to you.
00:30:03.119 --> 00:30:08.880
Now, this was my first book, How to Sell Out in Less Than Seven Minutes.
00:30:09.039 --> 00:30:10.720
And you'll notice the date there.
00:30:10.799 --> 00:30:16.000
I can't see it, but I think it was 2013, January 27th.
00:30:17.839 --> 00:30:24.799
A year later, I actually brought my book sold out to the market 2014.
00:30:24.880 --> 00:30:29.759
And let me tell you, the title changed, the content changed, a lot of the stuff changed.
00:30:29.839 --> 00:30:31.039
It took a year to edit.
00:30:31.200 --> 00:30:38.799
So, my point here is whatever you are planning to do, hoping to do, you want your first book or whatever it is.
00:30:39.119 --> 00:30:40.480
No, start now.
00:30:40.640 --> 00:30:43.599
Just start with baby steps because it is going to take some time.
00:30:43.680 --> 00:30:44.079
Why?
00:30:44.319 --> 00:30:48.240
Because it matters, and you want to get your best out first.
00:30:48.799 --> 00:30:50.640
So there's my one-minute tip.
00:30:50.880 --> 00:30:53.519
Simon, you are up.
00:30:53.920 --> 00:30:54.240
Go.
00:30:56.400 --> 00:31:03.200
Yeah, I would say a really important conversation for me is mind your language.
00:31:03.440 --> 00:31:10.000
You know, people don't understand that if you think about where everything in the world is created, it all starts from thought.
00:31:10.319 --> 00:31:15.599
So, you know, we have the power to say what goes on up in here.
00:31:15.759 --> 00:31:35.680
And every day, you know, to really be mindful about, you know, how you say your life's going to go, how you deal with people, how you look at things and interpret things, how you share things, how you think to yourself, the words that you use, they all have huge meaning.
00:31:36.079 --> 00:31:40.319
So be aware and honor that.
00:31:40.480 --> 00:31:48.559
But also, if you had a choice and if you could create your own language, why wouldn't you create anything as opposed to the negative?
00:31:48.799 --> 00:31:50.960
Just live in the world of positive.
00:31:53.839 --> 00:31:58.400
Seven seven yeah, seven seconds to spare.
00:31:58.559 --> 00:32:00.240
That was pretty darn great.
00:32:00.799 --> 00:32:04.160
All right, like the hot switch, we're gonna switch it up again.
00:32:04.319 --> 00:32:07.680
I came across an Instagram um clip.
00:32:07.839 --> 00:32:13.200
Uh, Jacob Collier is a young man that uh I I saw actually live.
00:32:13.599 --> 00:32:19.359
He was part of the Quincy Jones 90th birthday at the Hollywood Bowl a couple of years ago.
00:32:19.519 --> 00:32:25.839
And Jacob Collier is an incredible man, and uh he's a young guy, and he's doing incredible things.
00:32:26.079 --> 00:32:29.599
Let's look at this and then we can talk a little bit about how it affects you.
00:32:30.000 --> 00:32:31.920
Every collaboration is like it's like a bridge.
00:32:32.079 --> 00:32:36.240
You're building a bridge between two worlds, my world and your world.
00:32:36.400 --> 00:32:38.000
You have to meet in the middle somewhere.
00:32:38.160 --> 00:32:41.759
My job as a producer and songwriter collaborator is to make someone feel comfortable.
00:32:41.839 --> 00:32:44.000
That's what I feel is my primary position.
00:32:44.319 --> 00:32:47.359
I'm only as powerful as I make them feel.
00:32:47.599 --> 00:32:52.400
I'm only as as as capable of creating magic as they feel capable of creating magic.
00:32:52.559 --> 00:32:58.960
I'm firmly of the belief that being overly sort of disciplinarian and and kind of yeah, almost like authoritarian.
00:32:59.039 --> 00:33:03.599
It just doesn't work in, especially in creative environments, doesn't work in most environments, let's be honest.
00:33:03.839 --> 00:33:12.640
But but I think when your job is to extract something of value and meaning from a person's inner world, you've got to make them feel safe, gotta make them feel comfortable.
00:33:12.880 --> 00:33:19.279
Know when to when to challenge, when to say, no, I think it should be like this, when to say, have you considered doing it differently like this and whatever?
00:33:19.440 --> 00:33:24.559
And and none of those skills are musical skills, they're all human skills.
00:33:24.880 --> 00:33:35.920
Like you can train as long as you want in any conservatory and be the best musician in the world, but if you don't have those human skills of listening, adapting, patience, uh humor, it's so important.
00:33:36.160 --> 00:33:41.279
Like, you're just not gonna get the results that I believe are possible out of a person.
00:33:43.759 --> 00:33:44.319
Wow.
00:33:46.400 --> 00:33:46.880
Thoughts.
00:33:49.279 --> 00:33:52.240
I mean he just described coach, really.
00:33:53.680 --> 00:34:01.200
You know, to find someone that you trust takes some time, and trust gets developed.
00:34:01.359 --> 00:34:06.319
And I said it earlier, you know, we talk about empathy.
00:34:06.480 --> 00:34:12.320
So much about our life is about being able to listen and leave people with the experience if they've been heard.
00:34:12.400 --> 00:34:18.719
And I think a lot of what he said was, you know, everything that he has, yeah, he's a he's a really talented young man, that man.
00:34:18.800 --> 00:34:29.519
And I think what he's saying is, although he has all of his talent and musically, you know, it doesn't go anywhere unless you surround yourself with people that actually felt heard and want to be in your space.
00:34:29.599 --> 00:34:35.199
And people don't want to be in a space where it's all about you, they want to be in a space where they've been heard.
00:34:36.480 --> 00:34:37.519
100%.
00:34:38.159 --> 00:34:46.880
And what I find fascinating, and this is why I talk so frequently about um, you know, I'm a performance strategist.
00:34:46.960 --> 00:34:49.760
I mean, come up with all these words, whatever you want to do.
00:34:50.159 --> 00:35:04.639
But in anything, because the essence of being your best, striving to be your best, even if today might not be the best that you want to be a week from now, these are the building blocks.
00:35:04.800 --> 00:35:06.559
So show up, do your thing.
00:35:06.719 --> 00:35:14.880
Um, but it's the totality of everything and your dreams, your hopes, and also how you talk to yourself.
00:35:15.039 --> 00:35:15.920
I mean, my gosh.
00:35:16.079 --> 00:35:21.199
Anyway, it's not a lecture, but I just love it because you just said, well, he's a coach, he does what I do.
00:35:21.360 --> 00:35:22.719
Yeah, but he's a musician.
00:35:23.039 --> 00:35:24.159
We're doing the same thing.
00:35:24.320 --> 00:35:33.760
Yeah, so is an athlete, so is a founder, so is the person who got their first job and is marketing and is learning.
00:35:33.920 --> 00:35:36.320
They're bringing their best forward.
00:35:36.559 --> 00:35:40.960
And, you know, we all have lots of uh room to grow, no matter what age we are.
00:35:41.199 --> 00:35:44.559
All right, Simon, we are at the last part.
00:35:44.719 --> 00:35:46.000
Have you had some fun?
00:35:46.400 --> 00:35:47.760
I'm loving this.
00:35:48.000 --> 00:35:49.119
Did you say last part?
00:35:49.360 --> 00:35:51.519
So the last part's at least an hour, right?
00:35:52.880 --> 00:35:56.000
An hour condensed in five questions.
00:36:02.960 --> 00:36:03.599
Yeah.
00:36:04.320 --> 00:36:04.719
Ready?
00:36:05.039 --> 00:36:05.760
Number one.
00:36:06.000 --> 00:36:07.199
Yeah, yes.
00:36:07.760 --> 00:36:12.800
You spoke of words earlier, so what word have you retired from your vocabulary?
00:36:13.199 --> 00:36:14.480
Vocabulary.
00:36:16.320 --> 00:36:18.320
Oh, well, it's two words.
00:36:18.480 --> 00:36:19.360
I can't.
00:36:24.159 --> 00:36:25.599
Why doesn't exist?
00:36:26.960 --> 00:36:29.920
Well, I mean, everything's about possibility, right?
00:36:30.000 --> 00:36:31.760
Without possibility, there's no creating.
00:36:31.920 --> 00:36:33.039
Without creating, you die.
00:36:33.199 --> 00:36:34.800
Like, so come on, people.
00:36:34.960 --> 00:36:36.239
Yes, you can.
00:36:37.599 --> 00:36:43.199
My whole my whole philosophy, right, is having people believe that anything and everything is possible.
00:36:43.519 --> 00:36:51.199
And it might sound ridiculous and it might sound, oh come on, you can't just it's really not about that has to be that big or that small or whatever.
00:36:51.280 --> 00:36:52.239
It's just, you know what?
00:36:52.400 --> 00:36:56.239
If I go into something, let's go into it with possibility as opposed to I can't.
00:36:57.679 --> 00:37:02.480
Number two, the bravest thing you ever did that no one clapped for.
00:37:10.559 --> 00:37:11.840
Yeah, that's a good one.
00:37:12.239 --> 00:37:15.280
I would say, you know, the thing, huh, interesting what comes up.
00:37:15.440 --> 00:37:37.599
You know, my dad got into uh got into uh a business deal that went really sour and got very it just got very, very ugly, and I ended up in a courtroom in a judge's chambers with my dad, and he was really he was really giving my dad the gears, and I just stood up and said, This is not acceptable.
00:37:37.760 --> 00:37:41.760
And anyway, I was 16 years old and I nearly got myself thrown in prison.
00:37:41.840 --> 00:37:49.760
But coming to the defense of my dad, yes, a a kid shouldn't have to do that when he's young, but there was no way I was gonna let that happen.
00:37:52.639 --> 00:37:53.280
Wow.
00:37:53.599 --> 00:37:55.280
Thank you for sharing that.
00:37:55.519 --> 00:38:02.480
And speaking of your dad, something your dad taught you that you could not have learned any other way.
00:38:04.880 --> 00:38:12.880
Yeah, you always said you have two ears and one mouth for a reason, so that you can listen to twice the amount than you could speak.
00:38:15.039 --> 00:38:18.239
Interesting that I'm uh in the world of coaching now, huh?
00:38:22.000 --> 00:38:22.719
Thanks, Dad.
00:38:23.760 --> 00:38:25.840
I think it's serpendipitous.
00:38:26.159 --> 00:38:34.960
Number four, the reinvention you are most proud of, and the one you're still a little scared to try.
00:38:44.000 --> 00:39:01.039
You know, putting myself back in school and going through and getting myself certified as a business coach through ICF at the tender age of 62 was something to, you know, that was a hurdle to get over, to be able to look at can I learn, can I absorb?
00:39:01.199 --> 00:39:04.639
So my brain still have the mechanism to remember.
00:39:04.880 --> 00:39:06.719
And uh yeah.
00:39:07.920 --> 00:39:11.280
Yeah, so and what was the second part of the question?
00:39:12.239 --> 00:39:13.599
Oh, I can't remember.
00:39:13.760 --> 00:39:17.280
Wait, um uh uh uh uh no, I think you're answering it.
00:39:17.360 --> 00:39:18.000
I think you're good.
00:39:18.159 --> 00:39:20.159
Okay, all right, okay, okay.
00:39:22.880 --> 00:39:26.239
There's a there's a complete illustration of that 62-year-old brain.
00:39:26.400 --> 00:39:26.800
What?
00:39:26.960 --> 00:39:31.199
What show shows how much I'm listening.
00:39:31.280 --> 00:39:31.840
Good lord.
00:39:32.239 --> 00:39:33.280
Yeah, yeah.
00:39:33.760 --> 00:39:42.800
Now, I was gonna ask you about your son, but you actually shared earlier the the essence of of that.
00:39:42.960 --> 00:39:44.960
So I'm gonna switch it around.
00:39:45.199 --> 00:39:48.239
And uh, do you have one question for me?
00:39:57.039 --> 00:40:03.519
Yeah, I would say when you're you know, you're putting yourself out there right now with the hot switch with Ali Mang.
00:40:03.920 --> 00:40:15.119
And when you wake up in the morning and you take a look at where you are and what you've done and what you've produced, do you ever take a look and and go, wow?
00:40:20.000 --> 00:40:21.119
Good question.
00:40:22.079 --> 00:40:48.079
And I will tell you that not always, except when I am literally at the precipice of showtime, where um I know that for years, years, no matter what I was performing, was singing, shopping channel, you know, performing as a matter of whatever, there would be this moment where everything was blank in my head and I had nothing.
00:40:48.159 --> 00:40:49.840
And I was like panicking.
00:40:50.239 --> 00:41:00.000
But I realized the quiet before performance was exactly where I needed to be, because I've got a very dizzy, noisy head.
00:41:00.480 --> 00:41:06.400
And that's when that, hey, look at what you've done.
00:41:07.119 --> 00:41:14.719
Now let's just show up for these people and let the rest of it just whatever comes out, comes out.
00:41:14.880 --> 00:41:18.400
It's all about motive, it's all about, as you said earlier, purpose.
00:41:18.880 --> 00:41:20.639
So, yes, I do.
00:41:20.960 --> 00:41:22.639
Should I do that more often?
00:41:22.880 --> 00:41:24.559
I think we all should.
00:41:25.199 --> 00:41:28.239
Um, but you know, we're wired differently.
00:41:28.480 --> 00:41:32.559
And um, I I am I'm like a fast twitch person.
00:41:32.719 --> 00:41:38.159
I'm not, you know, even though I've done marathons, no business doing marathons, but I've done them.
00:41:38.400 --> 00:41:41.920
Um I'm a jumper, I'm a figure skater, I'm a fast twitch.
00:41:42.159 --> 00:41:44.719
I was a 50-meter competitive swimmer.
00:41:44.960 --> 00:41:49.039
So I'm that person, and I need some ignition.
00:41:49.280 --> 00:41:53.679
And that's what happens to me at the precipice of a showtime.
00:41:53.840 --> 00:41:55.039
Good question.
00:41:55.760 --> 00:41:57.679
Simon, we are done.
00:41:58.960 --> 00:42:01.039
Ah, that was so much fun.
00:42:01.920 --> 00:42:04.719
Thank you again for giving me the honor.
00:42:04.800 --> 00:42:06.079
I feel so privileged.
00:42:06.320 --> 00:42:14.480
And again, just to say, just well done, you know, like wow, it's really amazing to put yourself out there.
00:42:14.559 --> 00:42:16.639
I am so afraid to do what you're doing.
00:42:16.719 --> 00:42:20.000
It's just yeah, unbelievable.
00:42:21.119 --> 00:42:37.440
Well, listen, um, I do give I I it's important for me to make sure that people know, you know, you can't, no matter where you are in life, you gotta know that the people you were standing on the shoulders of helped you get here.
00:42:37.679 --> 00:42:40.559
And it's important to me to always acknowledge you.
00:42:40.639 --> 00:42:42.800
Look at me, so I'm I'm a little shaky.
00:42:43.039 --> 00:42:52.559
But Simon, you specifically have helped me move forward with all the fears and all of this and all of that, to just break through it.
00:42:52.719 --> 00:42:57.199
And I still bring all that with me, but it's about purpose.
00:42:57.360 --> 00:42:59.440
And it isn't about, well, how many dollars?
00:42:59.599 --> 00:43:00.320
Blah blah blah blah.
00:43:00.639 --> 00:43:01.920
All of that, like you just said.
00:43:02.079 --> 00:43:15.840
I mean, what you shared with us is so important and it transcends to everybody, somebody just getting out of high school, just getting out of college, or you know, the the ones who are a little longer in experience.
00:43:16.079 --> 00:43:22.159
We all deserve that chance to just do what we want to do and and drive our passions forward.
00:43:22.320 --> 00:43:24.079
So I thank you immensely.
00:43:24.239 --> 00:43:26.159
Thank you for being such an honored guest.
00:43:26.400 --> 00:43:29.679
I always have to thank Victor, our producer.
00:43:29.920 --> 00:43:31.840
You always make me look so good.
00:43:32.000 --> 00:43:36.559
And at least, you know, I know you do your best, and I do the best I can.
00:43:36.719 --> 00:43:39.679
Now, as I close the show, you know I always do.
00:43:39.920 --> 00:43:47.920
I will, this candle has been on the whole time, representing that wonderful things are taking place right now for all of us.
00:43:48.159 --> 00:43:50.639
I thank you for taking the time with us.
00:43:50.800 --> 00:43:53.360
I know time is so valuable to all of us.
00:43:53.519 --> 00:43:56.079
And for now, thank you, Simon.
00:43:57.280 --> 00:43:57.760
Shoza.
00:43:59.840 --> 00:44:01.519
Hi, Allie Mang here.
00:44:01.599 --> 00:44:04.719
I gained 35 pounds a few years ago and I couldn't get rid of it.
00:44:04.800 --> 00:44:10.159
I did the usual, including intermittent fasting, a trainer, and even cut down to 1400 calories a day.
00:44:10.400 --> 00:44:14.159
Nothing seemed to budge until a friend told me to try make wellness.
00:44:14.320 --> 00:44:19.679
It's bioactive plant-based precision peptides that signal to your body at the silly little level.
00:44:24.320 --> 00:44:27.440
Well, the first product I tried was lame, and that was the turn.
00:44:28.800 --> 00:44:31.039
The best thing is I'm keeping it up with no crazy.
00:44:31.280 --> 00:44:37.119
For 15 years, I sold products all over the world on my life should be 100 products products.
00:44:37.440 --> 00:44:38.320
I said yes to it.
00:44:41.199 --> 00:44:42.400
Time to switch it up.
Leveraging two and a half decades of expertise to deliver comfortable and cutting-edge solutions, revolutionizing workforce attire and enhancing productivity.
00:05:09.839 --> 00:05:25.839
My primary objective is to ensure the well-being of personnel in demanding environments by implementing new garment technology, effective protocols, and cultivating a safety culture that promotes both productivity and protection.
00:05:25.920 --> 00:05:26.879
Now, that's one side.
00:05:26.959 --> 00:05:31.920
We're gonna talk about the other side of your profession, but wow, that's so cool.
00:05:32.000 --> 00:05:33.439
That's exactly what I was talking about.
00:05:33.600 --> 00:05:35.199
That was the Simon I met.
00:05:36.160 --> 00:05:37.839
Wow, yeah, thank you.
00:05:39.199 --> 00:05:44.720
You know, it's uh there's so much about that.
00:05:46.160 --> 00:05:50.879
That's also not so much about who I am anymore.
00:05:51.199 --> 00:05:54.480
You know, I'm beginning to learn that that's just a lot about what I do.
00:05:55.040 --> 00:05:57.839
You know, things are evolving, things are changing.
00:05:59.199 --> 00:06:03.360
I couldn't agree more, and I think that that's one of the things, you know.
00:06:03.680 --> 00:06:06.879
Remember, I'm gonna say 15 years ago.
00:06:07.040 --> 00:06:12.959
Um, it seems like yesterday, but it probably was, where the resume had only a few things.
00:06:13.120 --> 00:06:17.839
And when you sat in front, for me it was the acting business, which was different.
00:06:18.000 --> 00:06:20.000
The more credits we had, the better.
00:06:20.160 --> 00:06:25.040
Um, directors were able to look at the other directors that you worked for, the other films that you did.
00:06:25.199 --> 00:06:30.639
So for us as entrepreneurs and performers, having a big long resume of all the stuff was a help.
00:06:30.879 --> 00:06:34.319
But 15 years ago, it was people started judging you quickly.
00:06:34.399 --> 00:06:36.800
What do you mean you've worked for seven different companies?
00:06:36.879 --> 00:06:40.160
Do you have ADHD or you can you not keep a job down?
00:06:40.399 --> 00:06:47.199
But I remember years ago, my dad said the thing is that's going to happen in the future is um we won't have jobs.
00:06:47.360 --> 00:06:48.720
We will be doing jobs.
00:06:48.959 --> 00:06:52.560
And every moment will earn its next moment.
00:06:52.639 --> 00:07:01.439
And so, like I always talk about, you know, the the secret behind the game face is the totality of everything that brought you right here today.
00:07:01.519 --> 00:07:03.519
And and what you've said is exactly true.
00:07:03.680 --> 00:07:14.319
Well, I have to go back to 2020 when I created a book with over 80 people in four different countries finding the light.
00:07:14.399 --> 00:07:19.040
I'll just show you the clip and then I'm gonna highlight Simon, who participated in that book.
00:07:20.560 --> 00:07:27.199
We came together to share and to document the thoughts of over 70 people throughout North America and Australia.
00:07:27.439 --> 00:07:31.120
We all need to be heard, and our stories need to be shared.
00:07:31.279 --> 00:07:36.480
We did this through a series of Zoom interviews that became the basis of this collection of essays.
00:07:36.720 --> 00:07:44.079
This rich resource shares stories, poetry, and breathtaking photos of the world in lockdown.
00:07:44.480 --> 00:07:55.680
The thread of love and humanity binds this book to give us all the strength and the comfort we need in order to rise today and every day.
00:08:04.480 --> 00:08:05.120
Nice.
00:08:05.360 --> 00:08:06.240
Thank you, Victor.
00:08:06.480 --> 00:08:07.759
So brilliant.
00:08:08.560 --> 00:08:09.199
So brilliant.
00:08:09.360 --> 00:08:18.480
Allie, you know, the fact that in the time that it took you to really, you know, that's just sometimes it's almost leaves one speechless.
00:08:18.639 --> 00:08:35.919
The amount that it takes to enroll people and the people you know and the people you reach out to, to put a project like that together and make it happen in the short space of time that you had, and uh, and and to do it where the world was really in turmoil, really in turmoil.
00:08:36.000 --> 00:08:40.879
And you found that little nugget of goodness from everyone was was really spectacular.
00:08:41.039 --> 00:08:43.600
It's quite an honor to be part of that conversation.
00:08:44.559 --> 00:08:48.799
Well, I thank you, and it was an honor to have you as it is here today.
00:08:49.039 --> 00:08:51.039
Here was Simon's and his power.
00:08:51.120 --> 00:08:54.799
I asked everyone to give me, whoops, their power word.
00:08:55.120 --> 00:08:57.279
I'm still trying to figure out how to do this.
00:08:57.440 --> 00:08:58.000
There we go.
00:08:58.159 --> 00:08:58.799
Yeah, there you go.
00:08:58.879 --> 00:09:01.200
At least you're recreating yourself again.
00:09:02.080 --> 00:09:04.559
There, exactly.
00:09:05.120 --> 00:09:14.559
And I and I gotta tell you, so my message to all of us is let's not be bogged down with all the negativity, all the change that we're confronting.
00:09:14.799 --> 00:09:20.639
Yes, change exposes us our weaknesses and challenges us out of our comfort zones.
00:09:20.799 --> 00:09:26.080
Don't let that stop you from seeing new possibilities to help you stay in the game.
00:09:26.159 --> 00:09:32.159
Let's get out there on those skinny branches and use this time to reinvent ourselves.
00:09:32.320 --> 00:09:33.519
Let's recreate.
00:09:33.600 --> 00:09:34.879
That's you, Simon.
00:09:35.120 --> 00:09:42.960
Amazing! So tell me, what does recreate mean?
00:09:43.120 --> 00:09:51.039
I mean, I know you are going through your own recreation right now, and we're gonna talk about you moving into being a coach.
00:09:51.200 --> 00:09:54.240
And you know, everyone says coach, but we're gonna talk about that.
00:09:54.399 --> 00:10:07.120
But you know, when have you decided, when did you decide or what are the signs for you that it's time for me to just start recreating and adding to the bigger list?
00:10:10.480 --> 00:10:12.080
Yeah, you know, I do well.
00:10:14.559 --> 00:10:15.840
It's a good question.
00:10:16.240 --> 00:10:30.000
When I when I think about it and I look at it, um the first thing that comes up for me is you know, it's very much it's very much about your values and where you want to go in the world and what the future looks like for you.
00:10:30.480 --> 00:10:39.919
And I think uh, you know, I spent a lot of my life just going with the flow and existing and enjoying uh, you know, whatever just comes at me.
00:10:40.080 --> 00:10:50.960
But as I got older and as I evolved and as I went through, you know, like we all do, we go through these things in our lives where we have experiences that uh number one embrace us and then number two take us down.
00:10:51.200 --> 00:11:02.240
And I'm I think every time there was something that I was creating and then I faltered, you know, those were the times that they were my biggest learnings.
00:11:02.399 --> 00:11:24.159
And in those biggest learnings, it was time to recreate myself, you know, creating a business that was 17 years old and um losing it, you know, employing that amount of people and um having something that had me go and be in an environment every day, all of a sudden just disappeared.
00:11:24.320 --> 00:11:29.519
The world changed, my life changed, and when your life changes, you're left with, well, so what's next?
00:11:30.960 --> 00:11:46.000
And then you have choice, you know, you can either go uh you know, curl up in a ball, suck your thumb and go mama, or you you stand up, you know, you take a good look, you you recreate yourself and you move on.
00:11:46.159 --> 00:11:59.039
And I I I've done that multiple times in my life and had some seriously big losses, not just in business, but personally too, with you know, friends and family who leave this earth, and you know, there's things that really take you out.
00:11:59.279 --> 00:12:09.919
But uh your current circumstances or my I I've always been a believer that your uh your circumstances and what's really happening now is so temporary, nothing is really forever.
00:12:10.240 --> 00:12:11.600
So it's up for me to change it.
00:12:11.679 --> 00:12:12.639
And I think that's where it is.
00:12:12.720 --> 00:12:16.480
I don't know if that answers the question, but that's what it is for me.
00:12:17.759 --> 00:12:21.759
You know, it's perfect, and what keeps on coming back to me is legacy.
00:12:21.919 --> 00:12:23.600
You know, what is our life for?
00:12:23.679 --> 00:12:32.320
And I always think of Mark Twain's quote the two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why.
00:12:34.480 --> 00:12:54.639
And um I just love that quote, and I think that's what you're saying, you know, and sometimes, well, always it's okay to go and curl up and say, Mama, as you said, that is okay too, because it's part of the recovery part of the pattern change or the shock that happens.
00:12:54.799 --> 00:13:08.720
So, you know, it's an all-or-welcome, wherever you are moment and environment that I think gives us the courage to deal with the fears and and such, so we can kind of, you know, poke our head out and come out.
00:13:08.879 --> 00:13:23.279
And you know, I love when we work together on something, the vulnerability um that that you show I guess we all show when we're ready to make a change.
00:13:23.440 --> 00:13:28.799
I think there's a really important point of of that pivot that we have to just say, okay, you know what?
00:13:28.879 --> 00:13:30.399
I have no idea what I'm doing.
00:13:30.799 --> 00:13:32.799
I am going and I'm gonna run.
00:13:32.879 --> 00:13:35.200
I'm gonna run there as fast as I can.
00:13:35.759 --> 00:13:37.919
Or take big steps.
00:13:39.200 --> 00:13:42.080
I don't even think you have to know what you're doing, Ellie.
00:13:42.240 --> 00:13:46.559
I think what's more important is about you just need to have some direction about where you want to go.
00:13:46.799 --> 00:13:50.960
And then not be, you know, just don't be so concerned about how it's working out.
00:13:51.360 --> 00:14:08.000
And if you're not, if you're not just really creating a uh a habit for yourself where you're just taking small steps on a daily basis, you know, I I think one of the things that I learned is like, why haven't I gotten to where I want to get to right away?
00:14:08.080 --> 00:14:09.840
And how come it's not happening for me?
00:14:10.000 --> 00:14:20.480
You know, then when I just sort of would calm down and take a look, and then so you know, so often I would look at uh, okay, well, why don't you take a look about, let's just look two months back.
00:14:20.639 --> 00:14:22.559
Where were you and what's happening now?
00:14:22.799 --> 00:14:29.360
And you, wow, when you really take a good look, you can see that there's those minute, small incremental changes that have been going on.
00:14:29.519 --> 00:14:31.360
And I think we spend so much time.
00:14:31.600 --> 00:14:32.399
Well, I do.
00:14:32.639 --> 00:14:35.440
I used to spend so much time going, well, when is it?
00:14:35.600 --> 00:14:36.000
When is it?
00:14:36.080 --> 00:14:36.639
Why isn't it?
00:14:36.720 --> 00:14:37.360
Why isn't it?
00:14:37.519 --> 00:14:41.519
And now I spend a whole lot more time going, oh wow, thankful for that.
00:14:41.679 --> 00:14:42.639
Look how that happened.
00:14:42.799 --> 00:14:45.519
Wow, I had no idea that person would show up in my world.
00:14:45.600 --> 00:14:50.240
And the only way things will show up in my world is because I'm actually moving somewhere.
00:14:50.320 --> 00:14:51.679
I'm on the direction somewhere.
00:14:51.919 --> 00:14:57.360
So having purpose, yeah, it's a that's a big thing for me, really is.
00:14:57.440 --> 00:14:59.039
So I don't have to know where to go.
00:14:59.279 --> 00:14:59.919
Really don't.
00:15:00.000 --> 00:15:03.200
I just trust, trust, also learned that.
00:15:03.360 --> 00:15:06.320
Big, big, big, big, big conversation from you right now.
00:15:06.799 --> 00:15:09.679
Oh, I so agree with you.
00:15:09.919 --> 00:15:20.159
And you know, um, when we we uh like good friends, like good colleagues, the trust, of course, is there, but we sort of come in and out of each other's lives.
00:15:20.320 --> 00:15:35.840
And just recently, um, I hadn't spoken to Simon in quite some time, and um, he sent me a note, and all he said was, Hey, I'm noticing you're changing things up, your branding and your this and you're that.
00:15:36.080 --> 00:15:37.919
I know how much work that takes.
00:15:38.240 --> 00:15:39.039
Good on you.
00:15:39.120 --> 00:15:40.240
Let's chat soon.
00:15:40.480 --> 00:15:42.799
And that was, I think, on LinkedIn.
00:15:43.120 --> 00:15:47.679
And um, it was just, it was just exactly the thing I needed to hear.
00:15:47.759 --> 00:15:55.600
And of course, we got back working together again and and and exploring and learning so much about just, you know, where we are in life.
00:15:55.679 --> 00:15:56.159
It's great.
00:15:56.320 --> 00:15:58.399
Now, listen, we're gonna have to take a quick break.
00:15:58.559 --> 00:16:04.399
We're gonna come back, but before we do, how can people find you, Simon?
00:16:04.639 --> 00:16:13.360
Because uh your business that you're doing now and the other business that you founded, which we'll talk about on the other side of this, how can they find you?
00:16:14.960 --> 00:16:21.360
Well, that's an interesting question, just because I'm in this really amazing, interesting place of complete revamp.
00:16:21.919 --> 00:16:43.919
But you know, LinkedIn is where it's all going to begin because I'm going to concentrate and have everything come out from there because the website is being redesigned and the coaching environments being designed, and um I'm just going in a completely different direction because I actually, to be honest, have not been on social media very much.
00:16:44.159 --> 00:16:49.600
I try as much as I can to stay off it because I was on it and I got sucked in on it.
00:16:49.840 --> 00:16:56.639
And I'm finding that if I take myself away from it a little bit, I actually get a little bit more done.
00:16:56.799 --> 00:17:00.799
But I'm also clear that this is the world that we live in right now.
00:17:00.879 --> 00:17:09.279
And when you want to evolve and create and get connected, uh, there's something about social media that you really have to get connected with.
00:17:09.440 --> 00:17:15.519
So I'm revamping it so that when I do have additional places you can find me.
00:17:15.839 --> 00:17:19.599
Um, the structure really is there for what I said I want to create for myself.
00:17:19.680 --> 00:17:21.279
So it's coming, it's coming.
00:17:21.440 --> 00:17:23.599
But LinkedIn page, Simon Levin.
00:17:24.240 --> 00:17:30.319
And also one of the companies that I work with with my partner is called Dahoko.
00:17:30.640 --> 00:17:35.039
So www.dehoco.com.
00:17:35.200 --> 00:17:39.119
And you can look at what we do and the things we do in that company too.
00:17:39.680 --> 00:17:40.480
Wonderful.
00:17:40.720 --> 00:17:42.960
We'll be right back with Simon Levin.
00:17:44.160 --> 00:17:45.519
Allie Mang here.
00:17:45.759 --> 00:17:54.720
Of all the people that could have been chosen, designer Anna Lucia Beltram asked me to host her live worldwide launch last year of her newest product.
00:17:55.039 --> 00:18:01.599
The world's first non-toxic luxury jewelry cleaner, safe for gold, silver, diamonds, and even pearls.
00:18:01.920 --> 00:18:06.880
Anna Lucia is the founder of the world's first designer lab grown diamond brand.
00:18:07.119 --> 00:18:11.680
Her entire brand is sustainable luxury, ethically made at prices that make sense.
00:18:11.839 --> 00:18:15.680
Her pieces have been featured in Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee album.
00:18:15.920 --> 00:18:21.599
I'm proud to call her my friend, and even more proud to stand behind what she is building for today's women.
00:18:22.000 --> 00:18:25.440
For 15 years, I sold products all over the world on live shopping.
00:18:25.599 --> 00:18:28.000
Hundreds have approached me to talk up their products.
00:18:28.160 --> 00:18:29.759
I've said yes to a handful.
00:18:29.920 --> 00:18:34.559
Anna Lucia Diamonds and her entire company is one of them.
00:18:35.839 --> 00:18:37.759
It's time to switch it up.
00:18:39.200 --> 00:18:41.359
Something from the desk of.
00:18:43.039 --> 00:18:46.000
Yay! Something from the desk of.
00:18:46.079 --> 00:18:47.200
It's my favorite.
00:18:49.759 --> 00:18:52.000
It's my favorite part of the show.
00:18:52.480 --> 00:18:56.720
I mean, you just never smile, you're just never excited about anything, are you?
00:19:00.000 --> 00:19:00.960
Oh gosh.
00:19:01.119 --> 00:19:05.279
Well, listen, if you're not having fun, then nobody else is gonna be having fun.
00:19:05.440 --> 00:19:06.480
That's for done sure.
00:19:07.440 --> 00:19:09.519
And you can't fake that stuff, right?
00:19:09.680 --> 00:19:12.319
I mean, I guess people do, but I turn off very quickly.
00:19:12.480 --> 00:19:19.599
So listen, something from the desk of share, what's going on on your inspiring you?
00:19:20.079 --> 00:19:21.680
Something on the desk of.
00:19:21.839 --> 00:19:24.400
Well, you know, you want me to show you something that I have?
00:19:24.559 --> 00:19:27.440
I mean, I have three of them here, but I always have.
00:19:27.920 --> 00:19:31.519
Uh, you know, this uh it's all about family.
00:19:31.680 --> 00:19:33.359
Now, how do I how do I move this?
00:19:33.599 --> 00:19:35.039
You're doing well, come back.
00:19:35.359 --> 00:19:36.799
This is a delay, I guess, right?
00:19:36.880 --> 00:19:38.880
There's a it's just a one-second delay.
00:19:39.039 --> 00:19:39.599
There you go.
00:19:40.000 --> 00:19:40.559
You got it.
00:19:41.440 --> 00:20:01.359
Yeah, this is such a, you know, my son Mason and my lovely wife, Vicky, and they're always on my desk as a as a reminder, you know, that without family, uh, you know, there's a lot that would be missing in my life if I didn't have those two incredible people and look at what they do and who they are.
00:20:01.519 --> 00:20:07.279
And so many people say to me, What an incredible young man I have as a son.
00:20:07.440 --> 00:20:11.759
And, you know, not touting my own home, but you know what's so great about it when they tell me that?
00:20:11.839 --> 00:20:14.000
And he is a beautiful human being, and I do love him.
00:20:14.079 --> 00:20:26.960
And of course I love my wife too, but you know, when I when I look at Mason, my son, and I see who he is in the world, and so many people come up to me and tell me just what an incredible human being he is.
00:20:27.039 --> 00:20:32.559
And you know what's so amazing is that he doesn't do anything incredible, that there's all these things that he's done.
00:20:32.640 --> 00:20:34.880
It's just so much more about who he's being.
00:20:35.039 --> 00:20:48.480
And then I look at his mom and I and I go, wow, you know, it's not that we turned him out that way because there's so much about on the walk of life that he gets impacted by that we have no idea about.
00:20:48.799 --> 00:20:56.559
But we created the foundation, and that gives me a lot of joy that we had no idea, but we turned it out.
00:20:56.640 --> 00:21:01.680
But it's such a parallel to life to not knowing and then turning stuff out.
00:21:01.839 --> 00:21:04.559
So, yeah, they're always a reminder on my desk.
00:21:05.599 --> 00:21:07.920
That's just that's perfect.
00:21:08.079 --> 00:21:09.039
I love that.
00:21:09.599 --> 00:21:11.920
Um, you know, it's interesting.
00:21:12.079 --> 00:21:18.640
You you you talk about being a parent and raising and you know, you know, saying that you're totally revamping things.
00:21:18.720 --> 00:21:28.400
And it seems to me that that's part of, you know, the fact that, you know, there's a segue to you becoming a leadership coach, a life coach.
00:21:28.640 --> 00:21:34.079
It's just, it's like, seems like you've been preparing for that your entire life, it seems.
00:21:34.319 --> 00:21:37.599
And um, so this is your other hat that you're talking about.
00:21:37.680 --> 00:21:40.880
And I want to talk about it because I'm so proud of you.
00:21:41.039 --> 00:21:42.640
I think it's absolutely correct.
00:21:42.799 --> 00:21:46.880
And as you well know, um, you've been my coach.
00:21:47.119 --> 00:21:49.759
And I just want to send it right back to you.
00:21:49.920 --> 00:21:55.920
And I want to just say, holy moly, you've been such a lighthouse to me.
00:21:56.079 --> 00:21:58.240
And I know that's part of your branding.
00:21:58.400 --> 00:21:59.519
Uh, but when we started.
00:22:00.160 --> 00:22:03.920
Was probably in your mind, but you weren't necessarily putting it out there.
00:22:04.319 --> 00:22:19.359
But having somebody to just sit and listen and then come in at an appropriate part of that dia tribe, whatever emotion we've got going that day, there's nothing like it.
00:22:19.519 --> 00:22:26.319
And um, I've grown up with coaches as a competitive athlete and you know, with directors and and producers my whole life.
00:22:26.559 --> 00:22:30.640
So it you always need somebody, you need an outside eye.
00:22:30.799 --> 00:22:35.680
Because you can't do it all yourself, particularly if you're a creative person, but that's true for anybody.
00:22:35.839 --> 00:22:38.400
But let me share a little bit about your bio as a coach.
00:22:38.480 --> 00:22:40.240
I'm gonna have to put my specs back on.
00:22:40.400 --> 00:22:42.559
Oh, I just found out I'm getting new glasses.
00:22:42.640 --> 00:22:43.920
I'm very excited about that.
00:22:44.160 --> 00:22:44.480
Okay.
00:22:45.279 --> 00:22:45.839
Simon.
00:22:46.880 --> 00:22:47.519
Yeah.
00:22:48.079 --> 00:22:50.799
The outcome is not a life without storms.
00:22:50.960 --> 00:22:58.559
The outcome is becoming the kind of person who can stand steady, see clearly, and navigate powerfully through them.
00:22:58.720 --> 00:23:03.200
And I love this part about your development of coach.
00:23:03.359 --> 00:23:08.319
You know, my clients might be asking, is this still the life I want?
00:23:08.559 --> 00:23:10.720
What matters most to me now?
00:23:11.039 --> 00:23:13.839
How do I lead with more authenticity?
00:23:14.079 --> 00:23:16.480
How do I make better decisions under pressure?
00:23:16.640 --> 00:23:20.400
How do I stop reacting to life and start choosing my direction?
00:23:20.559 --> 00:23:25.119
And how do I become more fulfilled, not just more successful?
00:23:26.160 --> 00:23:27.039
Love it.
00:23:30.319 --> 00:23:31.279
I love it.
00:23:32.720 --> 00:23:35.200
Anything to say to that before we move on?
00:23:36.319 --> 00:23:36.880
Ah, right.
00:23:37.200 --> 00:23:37.519
Sorry.
00:23:37.599 --> 00:23:40.400
I I I thought there was going to be a question.
00:23:40.640 --> 00:23:43.440
Um, there's oh, there's gonna be a question.
00:23:43.680 --> 00:23:45.039
There's gonna be a question.
00:23:45.279 --> 00:23:46.000
Oh my goodness.
00:23:46.960 --> 00:23:50.640
Um yeah, yeah.
00:23:50.880 --> 00:23:59.359
You know, there's so there's so much to say, but just like you, you know, you're out there.
00:23:59.440 --> 00:24:04.880
I've always wanted to be um an orator, somebody who can share.
00:24:05.039 --> 00:24:11.839
Um, and I've always sat around and I've always thought, well, you know, I don't really who's who's gonna listen to me?
00:24:12.000 --> 00:24:26.160
What what are we really I have to say is as anybody else that's out there when you look at what people are exposed to in the world and the amazing and crazy things that people are doing in the world today, we're just a speck of dust and this massive uh uh beak sand.
00:24:26.400 --> 00:25:03.839
00:25:03.920 --> 00:25:19.039
And then I was like, these are the lessons of life, and it's not like I want to share this and stand on a stage and go, look at Simon, he knows so much, but it was really more about some of the experiences that we all have, we should share.
00:25:19.200 --> 00:25:23.440
There's so much that we all have about our lives and what we've been through.
00:25:23.519 --> 00:25:30.240
We don't have to be famous and profiled and out there in the world, but everyone goes through the world and fights and climbs.
00:25:30.480 --> 00:25:36.160
And we should all have the opportunity to be able to stand on a soapbox and share that.
00:25:36.400 --> 00:25:45.920
Now, it's changed for me because I couldn't figure out how do I get to be that person who stands on the stage.
00:25:46.000 --> 00:25:54.160
And I thought, you know, the thing that impacts me more than anything else right now is or that resonates is really how do I make a difference?
00:25:54.319 --> 00:25:55.359
What does that look like?
00:25:55.920 --> 00:26:01.839
Because I I looked at my company and I saw how my choices were based on how much money I was making.
00:26:01.920 --> 00:26:09.519
And then when I looked at those choices and how those choices had no integrity because they were all governed by how much, things failed.
00:26:09.759 --> 00:26:16.319
And everything that I've moved on and recreated for myself in my life has always been about how do I make a difference.
00:26:16.559 --> 00:26:18.079
You know, the money comes after that.
00:26:18.160 --> 00:26:19.279
You don't have to worry about it.
00:26:19.359 --> 00:26:21.680
You know, yes, money's important, we've got to survive.
00:26:21.839 --> 00:26:28.960
But, you know, the things that I want to create and the things I want to do and the people that I want to impact come from a foundation of making a difference.
00:26:29.119 --> 00:26:34.400
And so in the world of coach, there's so little empathy in the world.
00:26:34.559 --> 00:26:40.559
You know, our vibration is moving so fast that everybody's running and nobody's listening.
00:26:40.880 --> 00:26:53.359
And just really, you know, yes, there's a major design, and there's so many people out there about coaching and want to make a difference, and having an advice hat on and saying you should do this and look at how I don't want to do that anymore.
00:26:53.519 --> 00:27:02.880
I actually just want to sit and I just want to be that person who can hear what you're saying and just have you hear yourself said back to you.
00:27:03.039 --> 00:27:05.680
And the difference that that makes is huge.
00:27:06.960 --> 00:27:07.599
Wow.
00:27:09.279 --> 00:27:16.319
See, ladies and gentlemen, this is the coach that I get to work with, and that is amazing.
00:27:16.480 --> 00:27:17.680
Thank you so much for that.
00:27:17.839 --> 00:27:19.599
And you know, it's interesting.
00:27:19.839 --> 00:27:26.960
There there is such an arc when we really kind of come, we sort of go, oh my God, I don't know what I am doing.
00:27:27.119 --> 00:27:31.119
I thought I did, and I love doing this, and I love it, but I don't have a clue.
00:27:31.279 --> 00:27:42.160
And I know I need to, and you know, the way I came to you, um, I I had, you know, my outer shell was all very well manicured and poised and all that stuff.
00:27:42.480 --> 00:27:54.640
But soon, with the sense of comfort, um, you know, it turned and there I was in tears and and letting go.
00:27:54.960 --> 00:28:10.160
And so when you work with a coach that you really trust, that you understand they've been there, um, they understand that the road let it's not easy and all of those things, you know.
00:28:10.799 --> 00:28:15.519
I I really believe in finding the right coach for yourself.
00:28:15.759 --> 00:28:32.640
I have had many in my life in the sense of in the same realm as you, Simon, um, where you're dishing out lots of money and you're just not getting, it's not about the money, but it is when you don't feel you're getting the return.
00:28:33.200 --> 00:28:35.680
And that is the real difference.
00:28:35.920 --> 00:28:50.799
When you feel that you're growing and you feel like you've got more courage and you wake up a little bit more as opposed to or um, you know that you it's about combinations of people.
00:28:50.960 --> 00:28:54.559
I always talk about, you know, with companies, it's the pep.
00:28:54.640 --> 00:28:59.279
And Victor, you're gonna laugh because you're you're you're all about acremons, I know.
00:28:59.680 --> 00:29:08.640
But people and the right people combinations create an environment that's winning, that's inspiring, that's flowy, that allows everybody to be seen.
00:29:08.799 --> 00:29:18.720
And from that people environment, it creates performance, whatever that performance is, sales, uh, more marketing, better, more sticky, all that stuff.
00:29:18.880 --> 00:29:22.559
But you need to have the right combination of those factors.
00:29:22.720 --> 00:29:27.279
And Simon, you have brought so much joy and just, you know, challenge.
00:29:27.359 --> 00:29:31.920
Uh uh, you scare me half to death lots of times when you bring it in, but it all comes from love.
00:29:32.000 --> 00:29:34.079
And it also, I have to step up to the plate.
00:29:34.160 --> 00:29:35.359
You know, that's part of it.
00:29:35.519 --> 00:29:38.640
We're gonna change directions now, if that's okay.
00:29:41.680 --> 00:29:42.319
Let's go.
00:29:42.640 --> 00:29:45.680
Allie's performance tip of the day.
00:29:47.839 --> 00:29:51.359
We're gonna do one-minute tips, and my countdown is already on.
00:29:51.680 --> 00:29:53.039
Simon, you're gonna go next.
00:29:53.519 --> 00:29:53.680
Okay.
00:29:54.000 --> 00:29:56.079
So, this is what I want to talk about.
00:29:56.480 --> 00:29:56.960
Yeah.
00:29:57.279 --> 00:30:02.960
The long-term process of achieving success, whatever success means to you.
00:30:03.119 --> 00:30:08.880
Now, this was my first book, How to Sell Out in Less Than Seven Minutes.
00:30:09.039 --> 00:30:10.720
And you'll notice the date there.
00:30:10.799 --> 00:30:16.000
I can't see it, but I think it was 2013, January 27th.
00:30:17.839 --> 00:30:24.799
A year later, I actually brought my book sold out to the market 2014.
00:30:24.880 --> 00:30:29.759
And let me tell you, the title changed, the content changed, a lot of the stuff changed.
00:30:29.839 --> 00:30:31.039
It took a year to edit.
00:30:31.200 --> 00:30:38.799
So, my point here is whatever you are planning to do, hoping to do, you want your first book or whatever it is.
00:30:39.119 --> 00:30:40.480
No, start now.
00:30:40.640 --> 00:30:43.599
Just start with baby steps because it is going to take some time.
00:30:43.680 --> 00:30:44.079
Why?
00:30:44.319 --> 00:30:48.240
Because it matters, and you want to get your best out first.
00:30:48.799 --> 00:30:50.640
So there's my one-minute tip.
00:30:50.880 --> 00:30:53.519
Simon, you are up.
00:30:53.920 --> 00:30:54.240
Go.
00:30:56.400 --> 00:31:03.200
Yeah, I would say a really important conversation for me is mind your language.
00:31:03.440 --> 00:31:10.000
You know, people don't understand that if you think about where everything in the world is created, it all starts from thought.
00:31:10.319 --> 00:31:15.599
So, you know, we have the power to say what goes on up in here.
00:31:15.759 --> 00:31:35.680
And every day, you know, to really be mindful about, you know, how you say your life's going to go, how you deal with people, how you look at things and interpret things, how you share things, how you think to yourself, the words that you use, they all have huge meaning.
00:31:36.079 --> 00:31:40.319
So be aware and honor that.
00:31:40.480 --> 00:31:48.559
But also, if you had a choice and if you could create your own language, why wouldn't you create anything as opposed to the negative?
00:31:48.799 --> 00:31:50.960
Just live in the world of positive.
00:31:53.839 --> 00:31:58.400
Seven seven yeah, seven seconds to spare.
00:31:58.559 --> 00:32:00.240
That was pretty darn great.
00:32:00.799 --> 00:32:04.160
All right, like the hot switch, we're gonna switch it up again.
00:32:04.319 --> 00:32:07.680
I came across an Instagram um clip.
00:32:07.839 --> 00:32:13.200
Uh, Jacob Collier is a young man that uh I I saw actually live.
00:32:13.599 --> 00:32:19.359
He was part of the Quincy Jones 90th birthday at the Hollywood Bowl a couple of years ago.
00:32:19.519 --> 00:32:25.839
And Jacob Collier is an incredible man, and uh he's a young guy, and he's doing incredible things.
00:32:26.079 --> 00:32:29.599
Let's look at this and then we can talk a little bit about how it affects you.
00:32:30.000 --> 00:32:31.920
Every collaboration is like it's like a bridge.
00:32:32.079 --> 00:32:36.240
You're building a bridge between two worlds, my world and your world.
00:32:36.400 --> 00:32:38.000
You have to meet in the middle somewhere.
00:32:38.160 --> 00:32:41.759
My job as a producer and songwriter collaborator is to make someone feel comfortable.
00:32:41.839 --> 00:32:44.000
That's what I feel is my primary position.
00:32:44.319 --> 00:32:47.359
I'm only as powerful as I make them feel.
00:32:47.599 --> 00:32:52.400
I'm only as as as capable of creating magic as they feel capable of creating magic.
00:32:52.559 --> 00:32:58.960
I'm firmly of the belief that being overly sort of disciplinarian and and kind of yeah, almost like authoritarian.
00:32:59.039 --> 00:33:03.599
It just doesn't work in, especially in creative environments, doesn't work in most environments, let's be honest.
00:33:03.839 --> 00:33:12.640
But but I think when your job is to extract something of value and meaning from a person's inner world, you've got to make them feel safe, gotta make them feel comfortable.
00:33:12.880 --> 00:33:19.279
Know when to when to challenge, when to say, no, I think it should be like this, when to say, have you considered doing it differently like this and whatever?
00:33:19.440 --> 00:33:24.559
And and none of those skills are musical skills, they're all human skills.
00:33:24.880 --> 00:33:35.920
Like you can train as long as you want in any conservatory and be the best musician in the world, but if you don't have those human skills of listening, adapting, patience, uh humor, it's so important.
00:33:36.160 --> 00:33:41.279
Like, you're just not gonna get the results that I believe are possible out of a person.
00:33:43.759 --> 00:33:44.319
Wow.
00:33:46.400 --> 00:33:46.880
Thoughts.
00:33:49.279 --> 00:33:52.240
I mean he just described coach, really.
00:33:53.680 --> 00:34:01.200
You know, to find someone that you trust takes some time, and trust gets developed.
00:34:01.359 --> 00:34:06.319
And I said it earlier, you know, we talk about empathy.
00:34:06.480 --> 00:34:12.320
So much about our life is about being able to listen and leave people with the experience if they've been heard.
00:34:12.400 --> 00:34:18.719
And I think a lot of what he said was, you know, everything that he has, yeah, he's a he's a really talented young man, that man.
00:34:18.800 --> 00:34:29.519
And I think what he's saying is, although he has all of his talent and musically, you know, it doesn't go anywhere unless you surround yourself with people that actually felt heard and want to be in your space.
00:34:29.599 --> 00:34:35.199
And people don't want to be in a space where it's all about you, they want to be in a space where they've been heard.
00:34:36.480 --> 00:34:37.519
100%.
00:34:38.159 --> 00:34:46.880
And what I find fascinating, and this is why I talk so frequently about um, you know, I'm a performance strategist.
00:34:46.960 --> 00:34:49.760
I mean, come up with all these words, whatever you want to do.
00:34:50.159 --> 00:35:04.639
But in anything, because the essence of being your best, striving to be your best, even if today might not be the best that you want to be a week from now, these are the building blocks.
00:35:04.800 --> 00:35:06.559
So show up, do your thing.
00:35:06.719 --> 00:35:14.880
Um, but it's the totality of everything and your dreams, your hopes, and also how you talk to yourself.
00:35:15.039 --> 00:35:15.920
I mean, my gosh.
00:35:16.079 --> 00:35:21.199
Anyway, it's not a lecture, but I just love it because you just said, well, he's a coach, he does what I do.
00:35:21.360 --> 00:35:22.719
Yeah, but he's a musician.
00:35:23.039 --> 00:35:24.159
We're doing the same thing.
00:35:24.320 --> 00:35:33.760
Yeah, so is an athlete, so is a founder, so is the person who got their first job and is marketing and is learning.
00:35:33.920 --> 00:35:36.320
They're bringing their best forward.
00:35:36.559 --> 00:35:40.960
And, you know, we all have lots of uh room to grow, no matter what age we are.
00:35:41.199 --> 00:35:44.559
All right, Simon, we are at the last part.
00:35:44.719 --> 00:35:46.000
Have you had some fun?
00:35:46.400 --> 00:35:47.760
I'm loving this.
00:35:48.000 --> 00:35:49.119
Did you say last part?
00:35:49.360 --> 00:35:51.519
So the last part's at least an hour, right?
00:35:52.880 --> 00:35:56.000
An hour condensed in five questions.
00:36:02.960 --> 00:36:03.599
Yeah.
00:36:04.320 --> 00:36:04.719
Ready?
00:36:05.039 --> 00:36:05.760
Number one.
00:36:06.000 --> 00:36:07.199
Yeah, yes.
00:36:07.760 --> 00:36:12.800
You spoke of words earlier, so what word have you retired from your vocabulary?
00:36:13.199 --> 00:36:14.480
Vocabulary.
00:36:16.320 --> 00:36:18.320
Oh, well, it's two words.
00:36:18.480 --> 00:36:19.360
I can't.
00:36:24.159 --> 00:36:25.599
Why doesn't exist?
00:36:26.960 --> 00:36:29.920
Well, I mean, everything's about possibility, right?
00:36:30.000 --> 00:36:31.760
Without possibility, there's no creating.
00:36:31.920 --> 00:36:33.039
Without creating, you die.
00:36:33.199 --> 00:36:34.800
Like, so come on, people.
00:36:34.960 --> 00:36:36.239
Yes, you can.
00:36:37.599 --> 00:36:43.199
My whole my whole philosophy, right, is having people believe that anything and everything is possible.
00:36:43.519 --> 00:36:51.199
And it might sound ridiculous and it might sound, oh come on, you can't just it's really not about that has to be that big or that small or whatever.
00:36:51.280 --> 00:36:52.239
It's just, you know what?
00:36:52.400 --> 00:36:56.239
If I go into something, let's go into it with possibility as opposed to I can't.
00:36:57.679 --> 00:37:02.480
Number two, the bravest thing you ever did that no one clapped for.
00:37:10.559 --> 00:37:11.840
Yeah, that's a good one.
00:37:12.239 --> 00:37:15.280
I would say, you know, the thing, huh, interesting what comes up.
00:37:15.440 --> 00:37:37.599
You know, my dad got into uh got into uh a business deal that went really sour and got very it just got very, very ugly, and I ended up in a courtroom in a judge's chambers with my dad, and he was really he was really giving my dad the gears, and I just stood up and said, This is not acceptable.
00:37:37.760 --> 00:37:41.760
And anyway, I was 16 years old and I nearly got myself thrown in prison.
00:37:41.840 --> 00:37:49.760
But coming to the defense of my dad, yes, a a kid shouldn't have to do that when he's young, but there was no way I was gonna let that happen.
00:37:52.639 --> 00:37:53.280
Wow.
00:37:53.599 --> 00:37:55.280
Thank you for sharing that.
00:37:55.519 --> 00:38:02.480
And speaking of your dad, something your dad taught you that you could not have learned any other way.
00:38:04.880 --> 00:38:12.880
Yeah, you always said you have two ears and one mouth for a reason, so that you can listen to twice the amount than you could speak.
00:38:15.039 --> 00:38:18.239
Interesting that I'm uh in the world of coaching now, huh?
00:38:22.000 --> 00:38:22.719
Thanks, Dad.
00:38:23.760 --> 00:38:25.840
I think it's serpendipitous.
00:38:26.159 --> 00:38:34.960
Number four, the reinvention you are most proud of, and the one you're still a little scared to try.
00:38:44.000 --> 00:39:01.039
You know, putting myself back in school and going through and getting myself certified as a business coach through ICF at the tender age of 62 was something to, you know, that was a hurdle to get over, to be able to look at can I learn, can I absorb?
00:39:01.199 --> 00:39:04.639
So my brain still have the mechanism to remember.
00:39:04.880 --> 00:39:06.719
And uh yeah.
00:39:07.920 --> 00:39:11.280
Yeah, so and what was the second part of the question?
00:39:12.239 --> 00:39:13.599
Oh, I can't remember.
00:39:13.760 --> 00:39:17.280
Wait, um uh uh uh uh no, I think you're answering it.
00:39:17.360 --> 00:39:18.000
I think you're good.
00:39:18.159 --> 00:39:20.159
Okay, all right, okay, okay.
00:39:22.880 --> 00:39:26.239
There's a there's a complete illustration of that 62-year-old brain.
00:39:26.400 --> 00:39:26.800
What?
00:39:26.960 --> 00:39:31.199
What show shows how much I'm listening.
00:39:31.280 --> 00:39:31.840
Good lord.
00:39:32.239 --> 00:39:33.280
Yeah, yeah.
00:39:33.760 --> 00:39:42.800
Now, I was gonna ask you about your son, but you actually shared earlier the the essence of of that.
00:39:42.960 --> 00:39:44.960
So I'm gonna switch it around.
00:39:45.199 --> 00:39:48.239
And uh, do you have one question for me?
00:39:57.039 --> 00:40:03.519
Yeah, I would say when you're you know, you're putting yourself out there right now with the hot switch with Ali Mang.
00:40:03.920 --> 00:40:15.119
And when you wake up in the morning and you take a look at where you are and what you've done and what you've produced, do you ever take a look and and go, wow?
00:40:20.000 --> 00:40:21.119
Good question.
00:40:22.079 --> 00:40:48.079
And I will tell you that not always, except when I am literally at the precipice of showtime, where um I know that for years, years, no matter what I was performing, was singing, shopping channel, you know, performing as a matter of whatever, there would be this moment where everything was blank in my head and I had nothing.
00:40:48.159 --> 00:40:49.840
And I was like panicking.
00:40:50.239 --> 00:41:00.000
But I realized the quiet before performance was exactly where I needed to be, because I've got a very dizzy, noisy head.
00:41:00.480 --> 00:41:06.400
And that's when that, hey, look at what you've done.
00:41:07.119 --> 00:41:14.719
Now let's just show up for these people and let the rest of it just whatever comes out, comes out.
00:41:14.880 --> 00:41:18.400
It's all about motive, it's all about, as you said earlier, purpose.
00:41:18.880 --> 00:41:20.639
So, yes, I do.
00:41:20.960 --> 00:41:22.639
Should I do that more often?
00:41:22.880 --> 00:41:24.559
I think we all should.
00:41:25.199 --> 00:41:28.239
Um, but you know, we're wired differently.
00:41:28.480 --> 00:41:32.559
And um, I I am I'm like a fast twitch person.
00:41:32.719 --> 00:41:38.159
I'm not, you know, even though I've done marathons, no business doing marathons, but I've done them.
00:41:38.400 --> 00:41:41.920
Um I'm a jumper, I'm a figure skater, I'm a fast twitch.
00:41:42.159 --> 00:41:44.719
I was a 50-meter competitive swimmer.
00:41:44.960 --> 00:41:49.039
So I'm that person, and I need some ignition.
00:41:49.280 --> 00:41:53.679
And that's what happens to me at the precipice of a showtime.
00:41:53.840 --> 00:41:55.039
Good question.
00:41:55.760 --> 00:41:57.679
Simon, we are done.
00:41:58.960 --> 00:42:01.039
Ah, that was so much fun.
00:42:01.920 --> 00:42:04.719
Thank you again for giving me the honor.
00:42:04.800 --> 00:42:06.079
I feel so privileged.
00:42:06.320 --> 00:42:14.480
And again, just to say, just well done, you know, like wow, it's really amazing to put yourself out there.
00:42:14.559 --> 00:42:16.639
I am so afraid to do what you're doing.
00:42:16.719 --> 00:42:20.000
It's just yeah, unbelievable.
00:42:21.119 --> 00:42:37.440
Well, listen, um, I do give I I it's important for me to make sure that people know, you know, you can't, no matter where you are in life, you gotta know that the people you were standing on the shoulders of helped you get here.
00:42:37.679 --> 00:42:40.559
And it's important to me to always acknowledge you.
00:42:40.639 --> 00:42:42.800
Look at me, so I'm I'm a little shaky.
00:42:43.039 --> 00:42:52.559
But Simon, you specifically have helped me move forward with all the fears and all of this and all of that, to just break through it.
00:42:52.719 --> 00:42:57.199
And I still bring all that with me, but it's about purpose.
00:42:57.360 --> 00:42:59.440
And it isn't about, well, how many dollars?
00:42:59.599 --> 00:43:00.320
Blah blah blah blah.
00:43:00.639 --> 00:43:01.920
All of that, like you just said.
00:43:02.079 --> 00:43:15.840
I mean, what you shared with us is so important and it transcends to everybody, somebody just getting out of high school, just getting out of college, or you know, the the ones who are a little longer in experience.
00:43:16.079 --> 00:43:22.159
We all deserve that chance to just do what we want to do and and drive our passions forward.
00:43:22.320 --> 00:43:24.079
So I thank you immensely.
00:43:24.239 --> 00:43:26.159
Thank you for being such an honored guest.
00:43:26.400 --> 00:43:29.679
I always have to thank Victor, our producer.
00:43:29.920 --> 00:43:31.840
You always make me look so good.
00:43:32.000 --> 00:43:36.559
And at least, you know, I know you do your best, and I do the best I can.
00:43:36.719 --> 00:43:39.679
Now, as I close the show, you know I always do.
00:43:39.920 --> 00:43:47.920
I will, this candle has been on the whole time, representing that wonderful things are taking place right now for all of us.
00:43:48.159 --> 00:43:50.639
I thank you for taking the time with us.
00:43:50.800 --> 00:43:53.360
I know time is so valuable to all of us.
00:43:53.519 --> 00:43:56.079
And for now, thank you, Simon.
00:43:57.280 --> 00:43:57.760
Shoza.
00:43:59.840 --> 00:44:01.519
Hi, Allie Mang here.
00:44:01.599 --> 00:44:04.719
I gained 35 pounds a few years ago and I couldn't get rid of it.
00:44:04.800 --> 00:44:10.159
I did the usual, including intermittent fasting, a trainer, and even cut down to 1400 calories a day.
00:44:10.400 --> 00:44:14.159
Nothing seemed to budge until a friend told me to try make wellness.
00:44:14.320 --> 00:44:19.679
It's bioactive plant-based precision peptides that signal to your body at the silly little level.
00:44:24.320 --> 00:44:27.440
Well, the first product I tried was lame, and that was the turn.
00:44:28.800 --> 00:44:31.039
The best thing is I'm keeping it up with no crazy.
00:44:31.280 --> 00:44:37.119
For 15 years, I sold products all over the world on my life should be 100 products products.
00:44:37.440 --> 00:44:38.320
I said yes to it.
00:44:41.199 --> 00:44:42.400
Time to switch it up.
