A major sign of a heaven on earth scenario is the awareness that heaven is not a distant and inaccessible place, but that it is here (and not yet). Just like Isaiah's promise of the coming Jesus, there must be an awareness of brokenness before God can make it new. But how do we tap into this awareness and what does it look like when God takes the fragments of something broken and forges shalom?
